Panic attacks and how to overcome them in a versatile yet informative way. The book uses various techniques such as counting, and mindfulness. I prefer the deep breathing techniques myself. Wealth of information though for anyone trying to figure out what is causing their attacks and some reasonable methods for relieving them.

What did I like? I liked the familiar CBT techniques used to ground yourself and using mindfulness to concentrate rather than succumb to panic. The author gives you the difference between panic and other anxiety related attacks and several methods to choose from to overcome. There is a wealth of information between the pages but the same information your likely to get from a therapist. Some people refuse help and prefer to lose out on life rather be subjugated to an embarrassment of a therapist. This book is a great idea for anyone looking to just understand what your body is trying to tell you. I highly recommend it for anyone with a form of anxiety.

I received a copy to read and voluntarily left a review. Five stars...great information.

Many thanks to NetGalley, the publisher, and the author for my ARC. All opinions are my own.
