Westerns usually have a very clear line between the good guys and the bad....and then you have Tom Slater, a man whose "hobby" is robbing banks and staying clear of the law. But the crooked cowboys and desperados he meets along the way will test his patience and his gun skills. With a back story true to the era and a reckless disregard for his own safety, Tom will end up on the side of the good guys....this time.

I thought Dead Men Don't Lie was a good read. It is part six from Jackson Cain's series, The Outlaw Torn Slater. I give it three and a half stars.
