I love, love, love the tea dragon books. There is something just beautiful, soft and wholesome about these books.
This books finds Greta a year after taking Ginseng into her care and struggling to get through to the heartsick tea dragon that misses its previous owner. Greta struggles in handling Ginseng’s grief and her own blacksmithing skills when the chance to become an apprentice opens to her. Minette meanwhile struggles with the person she was and the person she’s becoming, and that feeling when you’re in limbo after leaving something you’d been doing for awhile.
With Hesekiel and Erik, and some other old faces, and new, Greta and Minette are in good hands.
The art is soft and gorgeous. The tea dragons are the cutest things ever. The feelings in this graphic novel are so wonderful and heart achingly real.

I heard about this book through the BookTube community and I was completely hooked when I saw the colors and the incredibly beautiful illustrations. After reading some reviews, I realized I had to read it and I was lucky to get the opportunity to do so through Netgalley.

This is the third part in a fantasy middle-grade serie, and I have not read the previous parts. At times, it felt like I might have had to read the others, but on the other hand, I still understood most things and could form an idea of what had happened before. Greta is busy cheering up her tea dragon Ginseng after Ginseng lost her previous owner, but at the same time Greta wants to become a blacksmith and impress Kleitos enough to be his apprentice. Minette, on the other hand, has dreams and nightmares that she need to deal with. She doesn’t really know who she is or who she wants to be and has a lot of thoughts.

There is not much happening in the book. We get to see Greta and Minette develope, from a little uncertain to knowing exactly what to do. We also get to know the famous blacksmith Kleitos. The author writes credibly about what it’s like to lose someone, or oneself, what change can be like to different people and about losing motivation to do something one has done all his life. It’s important and thoughtful, and probably something that younger people struggle with and can recognize themselves in.

This is supposed to be the end of a trilogy (if I have understood it correctly) and I got a little disappointed at the ending. Sure, everything turned out good but I would have liked to read more about Greta’s path to becoming a blacksmith for real and what Minette will do for now. It felt like everything ended very quickly and abrupt. Now I will try to find the other two installments in this series and continue reading about Greta and Minette.

'The Tea Dragon Tapestry' is an excellent conclusion to an excellent series. I thoroughly enjoyed the story and the art was simply astonishing throughout the book. Katie O'Neill weaves her story in a masterful way and creates this magical and calming world of tea dragons of which the reader cannot get enough. I loved how we got to see more of Minette's past, as well as Greta's blacksmithing skills go to the next level. The art work is definitely what I love most about the Tea Dragon series as a whole, but I can't help but mention how the author has managed to create a wholesome inclusive world, where characters of colour, any sexual orientation, disabled and marginalised characters all come together so naturally, that it is utterly delightful to see.

All in all, I wholeheartedly enjoyed 'The Tea Dragon Tapestry', and even though I'm sad to see there will be no more new stories set in this wonderful world, I'm sure I will delve into each and every single book of the series time and again.

I love absolutely everything about the Tea Dragon Society. I love the whimsical colourful art style, I love the heartwarming and uplifting storylines, and I LOVE the concept of little tea dragons. Can I please have a little peppermint dragon of my own? I need to purchase this to add it to my bookshelf alongside my other all-time-favourite-reads.

I’m so glad that the third and final instalment of this series is just as beautiful and lovely as the other two, and although this digital copy was a lovely read, I can’t wait to have the physical copy so I can appreciate the art more fully and read all three back to back.
Greta and Minette’s growth since the first book is beautiful, and being able to see all of these familiar characters continue their stories together feels like such a blessing. I loved the combination of new characters and old, and the gentle but fascinating building on the concepts introduced in the first two stories. I know these are for children, but they’re the kind of books that adults give to kids because they want to read them together. They’re the kind of books given as gifts because they’re stories to treasure, and those kids will hold onto these books for their kids.

This is the much-awaited third book in the Tea Dragon series and it definitely did not disappoint. We are reunited with the beloved characters from the series and the as-always adorable tea dragons that brought these characters together. (I love Chamomile and Ginseng!) I am in awe of the artistry and illustrations that the author-illustrator Katie O’Neill brings to life on these pages. The plot and character development continues as we delve into each character’s side stories - while bringing their journeys all together as they support one another. I was particularly entranced by Minette’s story in this book, understanding her past as a part of the tapestry that is her life. This is truly a great third book and fans of the Tea Dragon series will not be disappointed. I will be reading this again purely for the appreciation of the beautiful illustrations.

Just like the two books that preceded this queer graphic novel, The Tea Dragon Tapestry combines a lovely, sweet story that can make the dedicated readers nostalgic—not just through the world that is build but also through the art is is accompanied by. There's a certain maturity with this instalment that does indicate growth and yet the story seems just as refreshing and cute.

Just as amazing as the first two volumes. The art blows me away everytime. The story is so sweet and wholesome it's my go to whenever I need a little dose of happiness. I love the world and the tea dragons. It was so heartwarming seeing the main character trying to cheer up her grieving dragon. I seriously hope the volumes keep coming.

This series has been so utterly beautiful, but this was my favorite installment. It tied all the stories together, and the artwork was just gorgeous. And it made me tear up often! I can't wait to own a physical copy of this.

These books are just incredibly cute, it's been a while since I've read the first 2 books in the series so I struggled at first to remember who everyone was, but it was a very enjoyable read. I didn't feel like the world was expanded upon in this one as much as it was in the previous book, but I loved seeing more of the dragon's and the blacksmith aspect of this book is very cool.

I still like that these books are largely focused on the characters personal journey's and there isn't a villain or even really an outside threat, it's a nice change from... Basically literally everything else I read!

The art in this is on par with the previous books, the colours are beautiful and the style really suits the tone of the story.

A great book for both children and adults (who like cute tiny dragons) to enjoy.

This was such a great conclusion to this wonderful trilogy. The themes of grief and moving on were handled very well. I loved seeing Rinn, Aedhan, Greta, and my favourite, Minette, all in the conclusion together. I’m sad that there won’t be any more books in this world, but I’m excited to continue to recommend them to children and adults alike in the future!

A wonderful series, with the final title as good as the first. Katie O'Neill's work is wonderful.The world of the Tea Dragons is one I could visit again and again.

I can't be completely sure but, in my educated opinion, there is literally nothing in this world that cannot be made better by reading a Katie O'Neill book.
Pandemic getting you down? Read an O'Neill book and watch your mood do a one-eighty.
Bad skin? Clears right up the second you see a tea dragon.
Depression? We don't know her, we only know adorable squeals and wholesomeness.
Honestly.
I can't even put into words how The Tea Dragon Tapestry made me feel. All I can tell you that I gasped at illustrations, had happy tears in my eyes at some of the dialogue and that the representation in these books...are chef's kiss. Diverse and intersectional and fantastic and mesmerizing and really, I just want to give Katie O'Neill the biggest hug because she is doing the most to make this place a welcoming and inclusive space especially for younger readers and I am here for it.
10/10 would recommend buying every single book of hers - but mostly The Tea Dragon series. Whimsical and empowering, quiet and heartwarming, this needs to be on everybody's shelf.

This was definitely my favorite book in the series! As per usual, the art was absolutely amazing! And since this features all of the characters from the previous books, I enjoyed it a lot more.

This is the most sweetest and heartwarming story I've read in a while. Loved the way how the author included important themes such as “finding a purpose in your life, the meaning of home, friendship and love”.

The Tea Dragon Tapestry is a great conclusion to the story that begins in The Tea Dragon Society. We follow Greta in her process to become a blacksmith's apprentice while she deals with the depression of her new tea dragon. At the same time, Minette is trying to remember her past to know who she want to be. They will find answers to those problems with the help and comfort of their loved ones.

I recommend this series of graphics novels to everyone who want to enjoy a lovely story with an unique and cute artwork!

I loved this first two books in the Tea Dragon series, and I deeply love the third as well. Not only are the stories uplifting, the illustrations are colorful and beautiful. I want a tea dragon to live at my house. They are so precious!

I believe this story was such an amazing one. The art is so wonderful and endearing, and the soft color pallet make it a very relaxing story. I also believe that the diverse characters mixed with the fantastical characters really provides wonderful representation for children and adults alike

It's no secret I adore wholesome books and this was no exception! The art style is absolutely stunning and makes you feel so cosy and like you just want to curl up with a good cup of tea.

This will seriously have you craving tea, along with wanting a tea dragon for yourself, I seriously want one so badly, they are so adorable and charming and I loved learning more about the mythology/history around tea dragons - especially with a little section at the back of the book 'an illustrated history of tea dragons' where we got to find out a lot more about the origins and habits of tea dragons!!

There were some really nicely touched upon serious themes in this book as well, which I think were handled very well for a childrens book and for young children reading this will help them grow into better people. We looked at losing joy in something you have been doing for a long time and how sometimes taking a step back and going back to basics can help you find joy again.
Minette's journey in this book was also so heartwarming and hardhitting, she feels like she has lost her path and feels sadness/longing for her old life, which i think is very relatable (especially to me) and she has some very emotional conversations with the other characters and comes to some realisations about allowing herself to feel sad/allowing herself to set down new roots and be happy where she is now.
Greta and Ginseng (her tea dragon) was also a lovely storyline to follow, we watch Ginseng struggling after losing their old family and Greta struggling to look after them, which I think had beautiful message in teaching poeple how to look after people who are struggling with grief and loving them no matter what.

I also adore all the characters in this series, and the themes of found family and friendship - there is just so much to love!!

It was super cute this was the first book I read in the series. The story had cute lil tea dragons, I would have liked it more if the dialogues could speak as well. I liked the illustrations better than the story line, the story line or the main plot could be better.

After reading the story of Greta and Minette, Aedhan and Rinn, as well as Hesekiel and Erik, we finally approach the end and say goodbye to these incredible and wonderful characters that fill you with love and happiness for the tender and unique they are.
I have just read the three volumes and I feel nostalgic, they have all changed and it is wonderful to see their growth!

In this last story they show us the life of Greta and Minette a year after the events of The Tea Dragon Society.
Greta remains concerned about the progress of the little tea dragon in her care called Ginseng, since since her previous master passed away, the little creature has felt sad and desolate. Greta wants to help him go through his duel in the best possible way but she doesn't know what to do, and when a famous and talented blacksmith offers to be his master, she is too excited for the opportunity, so much so that she decides to do everything possible to pass the only test of the teacher.
On the other hand, Minette's life has reached a difficult point. She still doesn't remember her past, her parents and friends and her time in the monastery, but after receiving a gift from the monastery, she begins to question her role in life and to have nightmares. Minette must find a way to be content with her past and current situation before she can continue.

I think of all the volumes, this is the most mature and nostalgic of all. Here we see Greta and Minette bigger and more mature but still with a lot of imagination and dreams. We see Rinn and Aedhan as adults, traveling and being companions after so many years together, and Erik and Hesekiel taking care of each of their friends while sharing knowledge so that they are better.

Throughout the book I felt that there were more mature and nostalgic parts, there are scenes where the characters seemed to say goodbye to the reader as well and although I was very happy with the result, it also made me very nostalgic and sad because there won't be another tome of the tea dragons society.

Still, as always, the art was BEAUTIFUL! Nothing can compare to the drawings and colors here. The tea dragons were very adorable, the characters looked more mature but happy and the story they told is of overcoming, of reaching a truce with our past and thinking about our future and finally knowing who we are and where we want to go.
I adored every part of the graphic novel and I am all excited to have it in my hands once it is published. It is a jewel! You will adore it~.

Sigue sin recordar su pasado, a sus padres y amigos y su tiempo en el monasterio, pero tras recibir un regalo del monasterio mismo, empieza a cuestionarse su rol en la vida y a tener pesadillas. Minette debe buscar la manera de contentarse con su pasado y su situación actual antes de poder seguir.

Creo que de todos los tomos, este es el más maduro y nostalgico de todos. Aquí vemos a Greta y Minette más grandes y maduras pero aun con mucha imaginación y sueños. Vemos a Rinn y Aedhan adultos, viajando y siendo compañeros luego de tantos años juntos, y a Erik y Hesekiel cuidar de cada uno de sus amigos mientras reparten conocimiento para que ellos sean mejores.

En todo el libro sentí que había partes más maduras y nostalgicas, escenas donde los personajes parecían despedirse y aunque estuve muy feliz con el resultado, también me puso muy nostalgica y triste porque no habrá otro tomo de la sociedad de los dragones de té.

Aún así, como siempre, el arte fue PRECIOSO! Nada puede compararse con los dibujos y colores aquí. Los dragones de té estuvieron muy adorables, los personajes se veían más maduros pero feliz y la historia que contaron es de superación, de llegar a una tregua con nuestro pasado y pensar en nuestro futuro y saber finalmente quiénes somos y hacia donde queremos llegar.
Adoré cada parte de la novela gráfica y estoy toda emocionada por tenerlo en mis manos una vez se publique. ¡Es una joya! Lo van a adorar~.
