I *loved* this SO much! This was everything I could have hoped for in a conclusion! I cannot believe this story is over. This was so perfect.

Katie O'Neil does it again with tea dragons and their lovable owners. Rooibos's owner makes pottery. She has been trained by a master but the best of the best master has rolled into town. She must be worthy as an apprentice, otherwise, the master will choose another. The light colors bring a sense of calmness to this graphic novel and the characters are all charming. Reading this graphic novel is like walking through a field of flowers with no direction. It's beautiful and leaves you in awe.

Thanks to the publisher and NetGalley for providing an advanced copy of “The Tea Dragon Tapestry” by Katie O’Neill. Thoughts and opinions are my own.

I’ve only read the first book, “The Tea Dragon Society,” but I definitely want to pick up the rest of the books in the future. Having not yet read the second book, I’m sure I missed some pieces of the world, but I still very much enjoyed the story. The art is lovely and makes me very happy to look at it. There are poignant and moving discussions between the characters about passion and purpose in life and these lessons felt very welcome to me in the difficult current state of the world. I think anyone suffering from a creative block would find solace in these pages and feel seen in their struggles.

The art in The Tea Dragon Tapestry is gorgeous. The colours are soft but make the characters and scenery stand out without being eye-popping and a strain to the eyes. The design and detail that goes into the characters, outfits, and backgrounds gave life and magic to the world of Tea Dragons as it introduced elements that enriched the world and the story.

It was a still sort of story, not filled with thrilling action or with fantastical rituals and performances. Instead, it was content with exploring memories and desires, quiet dreams and little hopes of the characters, who were a fascinating and diverse cast with their unique personalities and memorable appearances.

I loved how across a 100 pages or so, I was able to grasp the personalities of these characters and get to know them, though I’d probably need the first two books to feel more connected and invested in their stories. Even so, I was touched by the determination and the innocence the characters had and admired the way they overcame their fears with courage and with the help of those around them.

The reasons behind my idea that this book would be great for both adults and children are that the wisdom, the ideas brought up in this book – Greta’s indecision, Minette’s fears of change… these things are faced directly in the book. Its openness would appeal to children, who would see these fears, this indecision and come to their own conclusions, interpretations, and opinions of these things. As for adults, who already have been exposed to these things, it is a nice direct reminder of the things we have forgotten or have convinced ourselves that we know enough of.

I enjoyed The Tea Dragon Tapestry and it definitely piqued my interest enough to want to read the previous two books. If you’re looking for a cosy, heartwarming read with beautiful art, then you might want to give this a go. (Also, Tea Dragons are super adorable.)

Thank you so so so so so fucking much to Netgalley for providing this arc.

Do i really need to explain the beauty that is this book series? Not really, you just need to read it for clear skin and a better life. The art style is so pretty and mystically diverse in the most subtle ways

Another excellent addition to the Tea Dragon series. In this (perhaps) final installment, Greta is having trouble caring for her grief-stricken dragon, Ginseng, as she's working hard to obtain an apprenticeship for a legendary blacksmith. Meanwhile, her friend, Minette, is plagued by nightmares of a mysterious past which upend the gentle tranquility of her present life.
Reading any of Katie O'Neill's books is like warm tea after a long rainy day, or a hug from a friend you haven't seen in a long time; it's delightful. As always, though dialogue in these books is slightly wanting, the art in them is often even more magical and breath-taking than its own whimsical yet meandering plot. The primary color palettes in this volume especially have a beautiful automnal feel: olive greens, pale peach-yellow, plum reds, burgundy purples... Alongside a charming cast of characters and its feel-good story, this is certainly a beautiful book to own solely for its exquisite visuals. You come out of it feeling that refreshed, wholesome rejuvenation many will associate with Studio Ghibli movies.

Thank you Netgalley for letting me read this book in return for an honest review.

What it's about:
The third part of the Tea Dragon Series which shows how Greta grows as a tea dragon owner as well as a budding blacksmith. It also shows Minette learning more about her past and coming to terms with what happened. The diverse cast are all wonderfully entwined together and overall, this book just makes me yearn for more.

When this comes out physically I intend to buy it as well as the first two books (Tea Dragon Society and Tea Dragon Festival) which I currently have digital copies of on ComiXology.

Pros
The art, just like the first two books, is stunning
The characters have a good journey of growth
Every character is equally included
The characters and the universe it is set in is truly awe-worthy and magical

I’ve to start this saying that this is the most beautiful and sweet story I’ve had the pleasure to read. The artwork is spectacular and soft and I love everything about it. The Tea Dragon Tapestry is a sequel of the first book, here one year later we can see the characters life and their changes.
This book talks about understanding yourself, how our passions and purpose in life can change. Sometimes this can be clear but when what we know changes or it isn’t what we want, at first it can be confusing and we can feel lost but the time is the most important thing that helps us to find ourselves and start growing again.
This story talks about grief and loss, love and support and the friendship you forge.
I really loved it and I need to read more about the author.

This book is so heartwarming and fun! I love this series so much and honestly think that it I important for everyone no matter age to read this. There are so many important themes for children to learn that are beautifully woven into the story making this wonderful for young kids. The art style is stunning and makes me want to own a tea dragon! I think that the main thing that makes this story very important, especially for kids is the representation. Representation included: non binary, m/m romance, and wheelchair/disabled.

The Tea Dragon Tapestry is the sequel to The tea dragon society. The Tea dragon festival is a companion with other main characters that return here. Greta and Minette have t figure out their future and what they want to do with the help of the other remarkable characters.

It's longer than the first one, which has 46 pages, and this one has 128 with the addition of extracts from The Illustrated History of Tea Dragons.
The plot is simple but really cute and perfect for young people, it leaves us messages about who we are and how we can change and help those around us.
The illustrations are beautiful and stunning as usual with bright colors.
I wish that it had more pages.
It's a really sweet and recommended graphic novel for all ages.

5/5 stars!

Oh my goodness! With the same love and charm as always, this much beloved series comes to a close!

As the third book in the Tea Dragon Society series, it follows Minette amd Greta. Minette is struggling to balance her past and present, while Greta contemplates her present and future. And a poor Ginseng dragon is still a sad baby!

How do I even begin? If you’ve read either or both of the previous book, you’ll know that this book is made with such a special kind of wholesome that you want to share it.

The art is as beautiful as ever and somehow, ever improving. It’s msgical to see changes in character design that just feel like a natural progression of the character. This is especially true in characters from the previous book who have aged a bit and it very clearly shows. Needless to say, I love the art very very much.

The colors will never cease to calm me and have me dreaming of cartoon food for days to come. But it is especially the soft character design that fills my heart. Characters new and old are really well desgined in a way that inspires beauty and creativity, it’s just amazing to see. It definitely has me wishing for a tv adaption, just to see these colors in movement.

The story that it tells.is equally as wholesome. Minette and Greta have come quite a way and still have more to think about in this book. What I love about the story is that while these two characters have a lot to think about and it is very pressing. The book is never frantic, things fall into place, as they do. It’s not a book where I rush to the end to see what happens. I just savor each page as they come.

Ok so…Erik is still my boy, I cannot change the winds. However, my other fav boy happens to be in this one also and so you can understand, just how much love is in my heart.

Also, the overall messages of this book concerning: how to deal with your past, how to think about failure, and even how to help those who’re grieving, are super important and really well done.

TL;DR: Please read this series! It’s beautiful, wholesome, creative, cute, and heart-warming beyond all belief. It’s a gift of a book to share with loved ones.

This final entry in The Tea Dragon world was a perfect end. I loved the return of all the characters we met in the first two. The artwork again was beautiful and vibrant. I adored all the tea dragons and every character showed such emotional range on the page. This book managed to make me cry twice - which such heartfelt story telling that I have grown to expect from Kate O'Neill.

I would highly recommend this book and this series to everyone.

Thank you to NetGalley for sending me this eARC in exchange for an honest review.
(Thank you to my Mum for typing this on my behalf).
I absolutely adored this graphic novel, Katie O'Neill continues to improve her art style and story telling with every new release. The artwork is beautiful and colourful, and I wanted to inspect every panel to really appreciated all the fine details. The themes were explored masterfully despite it being such a short read. I really connected with the idea of grieving the loss of no longer being able to do something which once defined you. I loved that, although there was a degree of sadness threaded throughout the story, the resolution was comforting and heartfelt. I connected with all the characters and their bonds of friendship, romance and family were delightful to follow. I also appreciated the representation of a wheelchair user, it was acknowledged but also "normalised". I would absolutely recommend picking this up for a joyful, colourful and meaningful adventure.

I wasn’t sure what to expect with this title. The last installment in the series was good but left something to be desired. I hesitantly picked this up, ready to feel ambivalent again, but was blown away instead. This book lives up to the high quality I expect from the Tea Dragon series. A beautiful exploration of community ties, self reflection, and finding your place in the world. Highly recommend.

The Tea Dragon continues to be one of my favorite graphic novels. The art is incredibly breathtaking; I love the style and the colors. Aside from being aesthetically appealing, this third installment of Tea Dragons continues a well woven story of finding oneself and finding comfort in family and friends.

This series is the cutest series on the whole planet. Sorry, I don't make the rules. I rushed through the first two late last year, and jumped on this third one when I saw it was available for review. AND I LOVED IT. Really, what else would I expect? I would probably say I liked it more than The Tea Dragon Festival, but maybe not as much as The Tea Dragon Society. But what does it matter, because I love them ALL to pieces anyhow. This one felt a bit deeper than the first two, and addresses some deep concerns that we all have. It touches on grief, and how everyone grieves a little differently and at different paces. It also addresses the concept of feeling out of sync with what you love to do, or starting to feel indifferent to the things that made you YOU in the first place, and how to come to terms with that. I'm an adult, and even I felt comforted with how they handled and described these perfectly valid feelings. And as always, these very grown-up talks and lessons come in the form of a giant warm hug filled with stars and moonlight, which is how these books have always made me feel. The art is beautiful and stunning. The words are comforting and reassuring. I will most certainly read everything that Katie O'Neill puts my way. AND THE TEA DRAGONS are as cute and adorable as ever, and as I was reading the illustrated history of tea dragons included after the epilogue, I found myself once again being eternally frustrated that I could not have one. Because I want one SO BAD. I am ready. I am ready for the responsibility and the work and the dedication that goes into raising a tea dragon. I know the summary says this book is the conclusion to the series, but I absolutely reject that notion. All I want is more of these stories and images to grace my bookshelf forever and ever. Is that too much to ask?
