I will read anything and everything written by Julie Kagawa! I even got the chance to meet her at an author event in Louisville, KY. “The Iron Raven” is a novel that shows exactly why I love her so much. It’s fun, emotional, and very character driven. She writes in such a way that it makes you truly feel like you know these characters. I recommend these books to everyone :)

I've been wanting to read another book by this author for a while now. This was pretty interesting. Even though it's not really the beginning of the series, it is easy to follow. I wasn't a fan of the (past but currently "unresolved") love triangle but Puck is such a fun character that I decided to continue anyway. It sounds like things are only going to get tough from here on out with an enemy that nobody knows about. I'm curious how things will work out for everyone, especially with that ending. An ok read

This was an interesting read and my first book by this author. I enjoyed the world and the characters. Julie wrote the book well and it was fun with everything going on and trying to figure out what would happen next.

Julie Kagawa's The Iron Raven is a long-awaited return to the Iron Fey world, and it's a good one, but not without its flaws.

The book follows Puck, the infamous prankster and trickster, as he navigates a new threat to Faery and the world. The plot is fast-paced and exciting, with plenty of action and adventure. Kagawa does a good job of building suspense and keeping the reader engaged.

One of the highlights of the book is Puck himself. He's a complex and well-developed character, and it's interesting to see him from a new perspective. He's still mischievous and playful, but he's also grown up a lot since the events of the original Iron Fey trilogy.

Kagawa also does a good job of bringing back other beloved characters from the original series, such as Meghan, Ash, and Grimalkin. It was fun to see them again and catch up on their lives.

However, there are some things that could be improved about the book. For one, the pacing is a bit uneven in the first half. There are some slow sections, and it takes a while for the plot to really get going.

Additionally, the ending felt a bit rushed. Kagawa introduces a new threat in the final pages of the book, and it's resolved very quickly and easily. This was a bit disappointing, as I would have liked to see more of a build-up and a more satisfying resolution.

Overall, The Iron Raven is a good read, but it's not without its flaws. It's a good start to a new trilogy, and I'm interested to see where Kagawa takes the story next.

Recommendation: If you're a fan of the original Iron Fey trilogy, then you'll likely enjoy The Iron Raven. However, if you're new to the series, I recommend starting with the original trilogy first.

I am a huge fan of the Iron Fey series, my favorite was always Puck so I was super excited to have a book from his Pov. The Iron Raven by Julie Kagawa was so good. I loved reading from Pucks pov.

This is the first book I have read in Julie Kagawa's Iron Fey series and the first book in a new trilogy (The Iron Fey: Evenfall). I found this book to be entertaining, although a little slow moving at times. I like that Puck was able to solve the mystery of the creature and find some happiness. I look forward to reading the second book (The Iron Sword) to see how this story line progresses.

I'm really sorry. I only managed around 25% of this book as it was sadly not for me. Thank you for the opportunity to review it though.

I always have and always will love The Iron Fey books. And I love Julie Kagawa for making this amazing universe filled with such great characters. And I definitely want her to keep writing books in this series as long as she has stories to tell. This book is full of nostalgia, however it didn't feel fresh or new, which in my opinion would've made the story so much better. I am eager to read the next one and hopping to love it as much as the first series.

I tried to get in to this one, but it just wasn’t for me. I had to DNF at 20%. If in the future I give this one a shot I will update my review.

Why? Is this trilogy 3 or 4 for this universe? Can’t we move on already? I was so happy with ‘the Shadow of the Fox’ trilogy and thought yay. But nope. Back to this world. That is not to say I didn’t like it; just that it is played out a little. I am glad that puck got his own book and we got to see some of the older characters. It was just a typical book from her following the same general plot and shock points of her books.

Didn't capture my attention and engagement. Interested in trying it again though and hopefully it will take.

I found this book to be a little difficult to delve into. The beginning was slow. I did really connect with the characters though and thought they were well fleshed out.

This was one of those series to me that I always kind of wanted to read but then they remade the covers and I new I had to read! Let’s just say I did judge a book by its cover, and I should have given it a fetter chance before because this series is great and definitely worth the read!

I was very excited for this because it’s complete nostalgia for me. This series is what really got me into the Fae in the first place when I was a pre-teen. I really loved these books when I was younger so I was excited to read this. I feel like at this point authors and movie makers are really just trying to take advantage of people nostalgia. Puck was also my favorite when I read this books. I just ended up disappointed and I feel like it was lacking a lot. The romance was lacking passion, romance, and overall general chemistry. The drama and the villain was not the most interesting to me. Everything seemed to be lacking overall excitement. This just really gave me high expectations and it fell flat for me

As a huge fan of the Iron Fey series, this book didn’t disappoint. The Iron Raven by Julie Kagawa was the best, and I adored Puck’s narration. Can’t wait to read the next one! Definitely recommend.

I received this arc through NetGalley.

I could not finish this book.. I really tried to like it but unfortunately I found the characters one dimensional and the story a little boring.

I was so excited to be able to dive back into the world of the Iron Fey! I love the Iron Fey series and I was thrilled that we were going to get more from that world! I was not disappointed! I love that we get to learn more about Puck, he's one of my favorite characters. Also, we get introduced to new characters and reintroduced to old ones like Meghan and Ash!
We also get to see more of the world and meet the new villain that is wreaking havoc on the realm. There was plenty of action, romance, and banter and I really enjoyed reading the Iron Raven and I can't wait to read more!
