The illustrations in this book were bright and very nostalgic. The story was simple> it could use a little tweaking but it was enjoyable.

This book is perfect for your young budding naturalist. What a wonderful experience to sit by a window and observe the outside beauty that abounds there every single day. It is a quiet time of wonder and exploration from inside of your home. When many children are spending so much time indoors due to COVID-19 this seems to be just what the doctor ordered for such a time as this. Shared time with a parent or sibling gazing through windows will spark conversations, encourage further research and provide some quiet mindfulness which will reduce anxiety and increase a child's sense of well-being.

The little girl in the story delights in the four seasons that magically appear before her. The text is rhyming and the illustrations demonstrate the joy and happiness that the four seasons bring. It is a perfect activity to get kids to quietly contemplate the world around them in a safe environment. I highly recommend the book.

This is a simple rhyming story about the seasons. It is not the most exciting read, but the slow rhythm might help with going to sleep. The illustrations are colorful and nice. I would recommend this book to teachers or library programmers who want to share with little ones about the seasons.

This is a nice book and a very unique story. We love that it is a poem and the rhymes are so lovely. The illustrations are soft and beautiful, with splashes of colour, to match the appropriate season. The overall story is really fun and shows how much there is to love and see, throughout the year, even if looking through your window, which is very apt for the moment.

Do we need more seasons books? I felt like the meter was off. The art was nice. This was just an ok book.

Hmmm… I thought this would be better than it was. The verse, discussing the differences in the seasons as seen by two young girls staring out a huge picture window, felt a little clunky, often missing the rhythm and almost struggling at times with being in such long couplets. The artwork looked nice and painterly, but I don't really know why it had to jump in and out of the window frame so often – nor why the trees outside the glass are completely different ones every few months. An amiable diversion is what I'd call this – not one I'd expect to see much demand for from the target audience.

I received an advance reader copy of this book to read in exchange for an honest review via netgalley and the publishers.

This is a really beautifully illustrated book for children in rhyming format to teach them about the seasons spring, summer, autumn and winter and how each season is very different but can be so much fun.

This is a book young children will love to hear being read aloud and will enjoy the illustrations within too.

'From the Window I see is a book through a child's perspective of witnessing seasons change for the first time. It has beautiful illustrations and details the changes without being boring. I love the idea of a series if books that can be told from looking out a window.

This was a cute storybook written in verse with lovely illustrations. The rhymes were a little bumpy and redundant in places, but I imagine that young children will love it!

Beautiful story for children, to make them notice the seasons and what each one of them brings. What can they learn an appreciate about them. Plus, the illustrations are very beautiful!
