A really brilliant series of books that I have enjoyed when they first came out and now, when I have had the opportunity to read them again.

The Cordwainers #3

Honey's Farm stands high on a hill in Swansea. Fon Parks is nursing the frail invalid wife of Jamie O'Connor. When the woman finally passes away, Jamie asks Fon to marry him, to help raise his son and help out with the farm work. Fon adored Jamie so she jumped at the chance even though she knows that Jzmid doesn't live her.

Fon is the daughter of Nina Parks who we met in book two of The Cordwainers. Things become more difficult on Honey's Farm. It's apparent that someone is out to destroy Jamie O'Connor. Fon is desperate to find out who had damaged their home and crops then finally earn the love of her husband. This is another book filled with great and believable characters. I was rooting for Fon as I turned the pages hoping Jamie would finally see her for the woman she was and not just a skivvy. This is a well written story and series.

I would like to thank #NetGalley #RandomHouseUK #TransworldPublishers and the author #IrisGower for my ARC in exchange for an honest review.

Honey’s Farm is book 3 of the Cordwainers series by Iris Gower.

The main character here is Fon. Daughter of Nina Parks from book 2, Oyster Catchers.

Iris Gower brought the lives of the characters alive in this book.

I was happy to see Eline’s story continued here.

I can’t wait to read the remaining books in this series.

The book cover is fascinating and the plot is addictive.

I received a complimentary copy of this book. Opinions expressed in this review are mine

This is the 3rd book in the series and It felt like a repetition except for name changes in the heroines. The story lines very similar unrequited love etc etc.

Another good book in the series. My only drawback to the series so far is that every book has infidelity. I like the strength and courage of the characters and reading their stories. Off to read the 4th book.
