I was hooked from the beginning of this novel! It was very atmospheric, and you could feel the tension among the people of the town as they tried to figure out who had taken the girls. I did not guess right who the kidnapper was so that’s a win for the author!

The premise seemed interesting but the story got weighed down by too many other details and information. I found myself skimming large parts about the town, the mountains, etc. and about halfway through I didn't even care who the kidnapper was, I just wanted it to get to the end. I think it could have benefited from some serious editing.
