I loved it so much and I can’t wait for the main book. I felt so sad when I finished the last chapter available. Kiss my cupcake is a fun and (cupcake) sweet romance 😉. It’s got everything you want in a romance a meet-cute, comedy and burly men. I recommend to every romance lover.

Kiss My Cupcake is a touch of humor and fun with a lot of cupcakes, mixed into one. I absolutely loved it!

I hate that it was so short. I would really like to know what comes of plaidman and cupcake woman😉

Blaire is opening her dream cupcake/cocktail shop and right next door, Ronan is opening an axe-throwing sports bar. Blaire is full of sunshine and bubbles, and Ronan is the complete opposite. With being competition, I could absolutely feel the tension between the two. I loved these sample chapters! I cannot wait to read the rest of the book and find out what happens between them. I really liked this one and was so disappointed when the chapters stopped! I'm really looking forward to reading the rest of the book, hopefully it will come to Netgalley soon so I can request it.
Helena Hunting writes fun characters and this book is no exception. This is the perfect quarantine "forget about real life" book. 4 stars because I couldn't read the entire thing!

I'm banging my head against my kindle, wondering why that I signed up for a preview. It's like signing up for a cliffhanger. I can't help myself when it comes to reading anything from Helena. Of course, I fell in love with this plot. And, the characters have already won me over. I'm here for the banter, sexual tension, and the cupcakes 😀. I'm heading to preorder this one now.

I usually like Helena Hunting books but this was definitely not my cup of tea. This excerpt was not enough for me to see any chemistry between the main characters and to be honest I didn't liked the female lead much.

I'll give it a definitive rating when I get to read the full book but so far it's a 2.5/3 stars book.

I think this book could be a really sweet and fun read. My main issue is that it really needs more editing. A lot of words are smooshed together, some are missing first letters, and there is a bunch of spacing issues.

Besides that I think the story is cute and has potential to be rather enjoyable. Even considering the "lumberjerk" lol

A fun start to an enemies to lovers (maybe? The sneak peek definitely has the enemies vibe, so I assume the attraction will heat up soon!) romance between Blaire, the owner of a brand new cupcake and cocktails business and her neighbor, Ronan, the owner of a new bar that also has axe throwing (I had no idea that was a thing). So far, this feels like a light-hearted romance with fun dialogue. I will definitely read the whole book.

This few chapter preview was HILARIOUS! But who wouldn’t love an enemies to lovers book based around a cupcake shop and an axe throwing bar.
“I’ve already filed this guy under jerks I want to junk punch” LOL I can not wait until this book comes out. It pulled me in and makes me begging for more!

I love Helena Hunting and she is an instant buy. I have read everything she has written. This book has a "however" in the middle. It is weak and fluffy on character development and the story is rehash. I will read the next, because she is still a favorite author. Just not this one.

I loved this sampler from Helena Hunting!! So far I'm very intrigued by the story and am looking forward to the full book soon. I'm also curious to see how the rivalry between Blaire and Ronan will unfold!

The preview for Kiss My Cupcake pulled me right on in!

Blaire is trying to get a cocktail cafe/bakery called Buttercream and Booze off the ground. Our love interest is a hot lumberjack type (Ronan) who's starting an axe-throwing bar next door. Blaire's tongue-in-cheek comments actually made me laugh, and I love a good enemies to lovers story.

I'm a little dubious as to her backstory - Blaire has a trust fund, and after dropping out of culinary school her parents paid for her to spend a year in Paris? Yet she's not on the best terms with them? I imagine we'll learn more about her relationship with her family/money in the rest of the book... which I'll be reading, because now I need to watch Blaire and Ronan get together already!

So can't wait to read this book. This preview is amazing. Helena Hunting is always a one click for me.

I thoroughly enjoyed the first four chapters of Kiss My Cupcake. The first four chapters are filled with witty banter and a tension filled dynamic between the main character, Claire and her next door business rival, Ronan, which works effectively. Their chemistry is intense and electric. Because of the fun and easy to digest writing style I found it enjoyable learning about both characters, their motives, emotional states and their passions. I cannot wait to read this book in its full form.

I love the concept of this story of a cupcake baker passionately trying to increase her business, while trying not to kill her next door business neighbor, who she describes as a sexy “lumberjack.” Both characters are stubborn and reluctant to compromise. I am curious to see where their story goes.

This is the second novel to me by Helena Hunting, the first novel was Meet Cute but it's not good as i expected.
I love the idea of this book because i love Baking so much and i hope to open my shop one day.
This novel is stunning and veey different than any novel Helena wrot, I wish that i have all the novel not only 4 chapters to read.

I loved Helena Hunting's Meet Cute and I love the enemies to lovers trope but...I'm not sold on this yet. It seems to be a lot of Blaire flipping a lid and Ronan mostly just like "wait, what?" Nothing he's done has seemed particularly underhanded for her to go from chill to batsh*t crazy in 2 seconds. I know she's got a lot on her plate to make sure her shop is a success so that's stressing her out and all. Because I loved her previous novel and this trope, I'll pick up a fully copy when available, but it's definitely not these first 4 chapters that have convinced me to read it all.

I loved this book. Ronan and Blaire are so cute and I can't wait to read more of their story. Helena always writes the most sexy and growly guys. Love her books!
