OMG. I love it.
When I get the file I didn't know much about Fangs but Jimmy and Elsie are adorable and the funniest couple ever. Fangs it's more like a funny and sarcastic version of the relationship between a werewolf and a vampire.
I feel like I need more about their and before a quick search I know now that the author keeps Fangs on TAPAS so let me say something, you have to read this graphic novel.

I LOVE Fangs. It’s such a cute story with vampire and werewolf jokes at every turn. The art style is simplistic but cute.

I received an Advanced Readers Copy through Netgalley.

A cute comic about a relationship between a vampire and a werewolf. The panel where they are reading vampire books together and she just flat out laughs at Twilight... Yes. Lol.

This was cute and I'm glad I had the chance to read it.

Hmm, so I knew these disconnected one- to four-panel comics from tumblr, where they occasionally pop up on my dashboard and brighten my day, but Fangs is sadly only a collection of slice-of-life glimpses into the quirky relationship between a vampire and a werewolf, not a coherent story. And... I feel like I've seen all of them before.

This book is one of the funniest adult graphic novels I've read in a long time. It wasn't nearly long enough for me and I wished to see the transitions made further into Elsie and Jimmy's relationship. It had some ups and downs that reflected a true relationship only made comical by the underlying supernatural complications. I loved every drawing and joke. It was relatable and enjoyable. More please. #Fangs #Netgalley

"We should have a baby."
"You mean for breakfast?"

A sweet, horrifying, and gently & darkly funny set of cartoons looking at a relationship between a vampire and a werewolf. Love how this collection shows a more polished, lifelike style of art compared to Andersen's 'Sarah's Scribbles' strips. Plays on tropes of romantic comedies, vampires, and werewolves to good effect and by the end I genuinely liked and wanted to see more of each of these murder machines. Highly recommended!

Fangs is a comic about a vampire dating a werewolf. It is more of a collection of snapshots from their relationship than a full-on story, but their love still develops throughout these snapshots. I loved it! This was so great! I laughed out loud quite a few times. The author has a great sense of humour.

Thanks NetGalley and the publisher for the digital copy of the book for honest review.
It was a modern day story about a vampire girl. Compared to other vampire stories, the story here was more realistic and even relatable at times. It was not a dark rather a fun light reading. The characters were interesting and their relationship was dynamic. The illustrations were amazing.

Heaps of fun!

This cute and quick read really made my day. Andersen's depiction and interpretation of the everyday ins and outs of a relationship - this one being between a vampire, Elsie/Vamp, and a werewolf, Jimmy - really captures the way she's able to look at life and see the quirks behind things we take for granted.

While not all of the vignettes were necessarily laugh-out-loud funny (which I don't think is the point, anyway), most of them had me grinning like an idiot and rooting for this perfectly imperfect couple, and they all created an overall picture of these two's lives together. I especially loved the jokes at the expense of or with regards to Jimmy - I actually snorted at the one with the postman.

Overall, my only issue would be that I wanted more! This is, however, a totally selfish point of view, as I get that the amount of work that went into what's already in the book is already probably staggering - I just liked Elsie/Vamp and Jimmy so much.

Sarah Andersen at it again! If you loved Andersen’s Adulthood comics, actually whether you loved it or not, Fangs is for you! This is a riotously funny—loud laughs kind (I had to read the book again because my husband kept interrupting me with his laughs pointing at the comic panels when he picked it up on my recommendation, and that is not helpful when you are trying to get some work done)—and dark novel about a vampire and a werewolf falling in love. Cute date nights, fridge stocked with blood, garlic being a no-no in food—this was delightful on every page.

3.5/5

this is the cutest thing eveeeeer. 😍

ok, the fist thing i’m going to say is: i was hoping the book would be a continuos story or something like that, so i was slightly dissapointed that it was not the case. BUT i really enjoyed the panels and the SUPER CUTE AND ADORABLE relationship between Elsie&Jimmy.

The artwork is good, the book is funny and i enjoyed it. If you have read Andersen’s work before and you like it, this is for you. And if you like cute&ironic relationships this is definitively for you.

A vampire and a werewolf? 100% dark and cute story.

i love Sarah Andersen art style and thats why i picked up this one despite i was a little scared because the synopsis hinted that this book would be different from her other works and it is but just in the art style, other than that is the same, we got her characteristic sense of humor wich i love so much.

we also got two amazing characters, they are really funny and cute and i love their realtionship, their internal jokes made me laugh so hard even tought they were a little cliche but i think that was the point make fun of those cliches, i dont know i just really love it! and if you haven't read any of her books i highly recommend this one and her other works.

After hitting paydirt several times over with her regular comic panels, collected into a fourth volume shortly after this hits the shelves, our creator comes up with something out of the ordinary for her – almost a proper narrative, and a genre piece, where a hot vampiress finds love with a hot werewolf. She can't wear silver rings around him, he can't fling the curtains back and welcome the day on their post-coital mornings, and both have to survive with the prospect of him doing the dirty – shedding in bed. This isn't an out-and-out success, but for every few average pin-ups there's a shot of him going 'woof' just as she zips a dress up, and you realise why you could love this book, for showing such a heart-warming romance. It's a little gothic, it's certainly not a 15 certificate, but it is not about the two mythical beasts, but about love. At times the affection the characters show is just too enviable. You needn't be a vampire to dislike it when your beau eats garlic, and we all need a pat and cuddle behind the ears once in a while. OK, to say it has a narrative is pushing it a bit – the one-shot splashes do kind of put paid to that – but the final pay-off here is priceless. Four and a half stars, and for me the creator's best yet.

This was one of the most adorable graphic novels I've ever read. The art is gorgeous and I loved watching this couple's adorable moments. If you've ever wondered how a vampire and a werewolf would act in a relationship, Fangs provides answers.

I highly recommend to anyone who loves supernatural romance books.

Oh my goodness. Can you say ADORABLE?! Fangs was so funny and cute. The art!? Oh goodness, how I loved the art! I’m so thankful I was able to download this arc. Fangs is absolutely wonderful and I can’t wait to get my hands on a physical copy. This story was so heartwarming.(never thought I’d say that about a vamp/were story) The characters were adorably awkward, charming and witty. I enjoyed their dialogue so much. This was such a fun read.

All of my thanks to Netgalley for allowing me the opportunity to read this arc in exchange for an honest review.

Super cute comic about the relationship between a vampire and a werewolf. I love Sarah's Scribbles, so I was excited to read this book. I thought it would be more of a graphic novel, but it's more of disjointed comics on one topic, which was still entertaining and funny. I do wish it was more of one cohesive story - I was able to read the entire thing in a very, very short sitting. I love this artist though and enjoyed the book.

«A unique, tender and even comical love. It has a charm that bewitches you from the first page. I fell in love with this romance between monsters that are the cutest. One of my favorite readings so far this year »

This was adorable.
Romance between a werewolf and a vampire seems complicated, but Sarah Anderson's one page comics are at turns hilarious, murder-y and sweet.
Despite the fact that each comic is sort of a day-in-the-life, there is a bit of a narrative that flows through the book. Meet Cute to Happy Ever After.
This will be a fun book to re-read.

I read an early copy of this book from the publisher for review.

Fangs is an irresistibly sweet and charming comic that had me flipping pages well through the night. I absolutely loved the characters and the writing, and have become an instant fan of Sarah Anderson! It's funny, charming, and incredibly clever, and I'll absolutely be recommending this one!
