I received an ARC of this book thanks to NetGalley and publisher Andrews McMeel Publishing in exchange for an honest review.

I am in love! This graphic novel is perhaps the cutest love story ever told. It features a bunch of one shot comics (each page being one incident) throughout the relationship of a vampire and a werewolf. It is incredibly cute, very funny and just a fantastic feel-good read. Vamp and Jimmy are both extremely likeable characters and I instantly fell in love with both of them. I loved watching their relationship unfold and it just brightened my whole day. I 100% recommend this if you like funny, cutesy graphic novels with a lot of humour and heart.

Overall Rating: 5./5 stars

Review to come August 15th.

I received this book from Netgalley in exchange of an honest review.

I was just flailing around when I saw this book on Netgalley. OMG, Sarah Andersen has another comic? How did I miss this one? How could I miss it? It features her great art and a werewolf and a vampire dating and all that comes with that.

These two meet at a bar and instantly have an attraction. I had a big laugh at how the wolf guy seemed to wonder about her 300 age at first but when she said she looks like 26 he was OK with it. :P Throughout the book we see the trials, the romance, and more that entails a romantic relationship between a vampire and a werewolf. Because it isn't always easy for either of them. They can't have romantic dinners (she doesn't eat and I don't think you want to put steak in front of him), she sleeps during the day, he cannot show her to his friends (who are seriously wondering if she exists). But there are also other things both of them have to keep an eye out for. Like him opening the curtains at morning and almost burning his girl to a crisp. Or her touching him with a silver ring. They have a lot to learn about each other and it is not always easy. But they do try their best to make things working. And I had so much fun reading this one.

Their conversations had me laughing so hard. They talk about everything under the moon. From religion (he is one with nature... she worships Satan) to past relationships to drinking blood to being a werewolf (and he is such an adorable and fluffy little ball of cuteness who with just one pet goes from hunter to OMG belly rubs). Plus, I love how Sarah drew them in those conversations. She in the shadows, he half light half shadow. That is a really nice touch.

I loved how you could see that he was a werewolf without him changing into one. From changing squirrels to him scratching at the door at the mention of walkies. Oh boy. It amazes me no one ever found out he is a werewolf. I guess they just thought he was weird. :P

Can I say I just love her fashion sense? I want some of those dramatic dresses as well!

All in all, I definitely want to add this book to my collection, and I hope that we get more of these two because I would love to see them get married (though good luck finding a place that works for both of them). I would highly recommend it.

Witty and lovely. This is totally different from Sarah Andersen's previous work (which I adore 😍).

Jimmy is a werewolf and Elsie is a three hundred years old vampire. They meet in a bar and... boom! It seems like the both have finally found their other halfs.

I love the clever and dark humor of this comic. Elsie and Jimmy couldn't be more different, but at the same time they have a lot in common!

In summary, Fangs is about the daily lovely and awkward moments two people have when they start a relationship. Especially when they're perfect for each other despite their notorious differences.

You can also read Fangs on Tapas. It's a daily webcomic. Although, I think reading it all at once, especially on hardcover, must be the best option.

In case you want to read it online, Sarah Anderesen has published a "wicked playlist" you may listen to while reading it: Fangs on Spotify

Thanks to Andrews McMeel Publishing and NetGalley for providing me with this e-arc in exchange for my honest review.

I've just read this in one sitting after a long day, and after procrastinating on the webcomic for way too long.

Sarah Andersen's humor is exactly what I relate to, especially in this one. She plays around a lot of stereotypes about vampires and werewolves, and depicts a happy and healthy relationship between the two characters. Puns are also on point. The art is different from what we are used to, but the style really suits her too.

This is the graphic novel I never knew I needed.

This was a cute, quirky and entertaining read!

I loved seeing the relationship dynamic between a werewolf and a vampire. I especially loved all of the puns associated with both.

The art was simplistic but also adorable and definitely kept my attention.

Overall, I really enjoyed my time with this graphic novel!

4/5 ⭐️

I’d like to thank netgalley and the publisher for an advance copy in exchange for an honest review. I have always been a fan of Sarah’s work, and this was no exception. I also have always been a fan of vampire books so the two combined was a win win. She made the story very cute about a female vampire meeting a male werewolf and what their relationship would look like. I hope there is a second volume.

The premise of this book is so intriguing, and it does not disappoint.
This is such an incredibly sweet and funny story, about two people who could not be more different but fall in love anyway. The illustrations are simple but absolutely beautiful, very much like the story itself!

I have seen some of these comics on Instagram and Tumblr, so when I found out it was a full collection I was super excited! The story varies from having serious undertones to really silly ones, which I appreciate a lot. Elsie is honestly such a babe, and I desperately wished it was longer!

Talk about a book you can read in one setting! I absolutely LOVED it. It's adorable, it's hi-la-rious and I'm definitely buying a copy to reread as many times as I want.

My favourite thing about Fangs is that it tells an entire (love) story, only with no real plot. It's just short jokes about daily life that Sarah always makes so funny. The punchlines hit every time, the characters are loveable and just so darn cute and every fan of Sarah's usual work will definitely adopt these two dorks.

Basically Fangs is something completely fresh yet completely Sarah. 5 well deserved stars.

- Did you ever date another werewolf?
- Yes, cute girl, but could turn into a real bitch.
- Clever.
- And did you ever date a vampire?
- Yeah! He sucked.

This was the cutest, funniest thing I’ve read in such a long time. It took me minutes to get through but it will take me forever to get over this. Absolutely perfect.
