This is the first book I've read in the Dark in You series and after finishing I immediately looked for more. This world is so unique and complex that I want to get deeper in it. Khloe is hilarious and the fact that none of her friends have killed her is a testament to their character. She and Keenan were ridiculously hot together and I loved how he respected her strength and didn't ask her for anything he wasn't willing to do himself. I can't wait to find out what comes next.

As excited as I was for a new Suzanne Wright (and believe you me, I was freaking excited), I wasn’t sure about Khloé. A bundle of freakadelic demon energy, she’s great in small doses. A whole book, though? I should have known better than to be worried because of course Ms. Wright pulled it off.

I ended up loving Khloé more than Keenan. In fact, it was Keenan I ended up wanting to slap around a little. His resistance to wanting a relationship led me to contemplating serious violence against a fictional character-in other words, he drove me batty. But, when he finally pulled his head out of his posterior region, I forgave him. I mean, come on, it’s a well known fact he has an enormous, well, you know. And not only that, he more than proved here that he knows how to use it. Plus, he paid dearly for all his faffing around.

Enoch made for an interesting villain albeit a bit of a ghoulish and disturbing one. He certainly gave everybody a run for their money. And then we had Thea, the obligatory spurned lover that we always seem to get in these books. Goodness, but these poor men had terrible taste in women before they finally met their true matches.

My absolute favorite ended up being Asher. He stole the show in every scene he appeared in. I just adore that freaky little guy. He’s going to be scary strong. Heck, he already is.

And now that I’ve plowed through Khloé and Keenan (twice if I’m being honest about it), I cannot freaking wait until Raini and Maddox’s story. Actually, I’m so excited about their story I’m starting to worry it will never live up to my sky high expectations. Wait, this is Suzanne Wright I’m talking about, so I know I’m going to absolutely love it.

Rating: 4.5 I ❤️ Freakadelic Demons Rock Stars

So I re-read this in basically one setting, which did seem to change a bit of my opinion.

First off, I have really loved Khloe from the first book of Harper and Knox, so being able to get a storyline that was solely hers was fantastic. I loved her independence and genuine idgaf attitude.

I do wish Keenan had a bit more insight or "somethingness" to him. It definitely contributed to his 'aloofness' but I wish that there was just a touch more. That being said, I still enjoyed the storyline both with how he came to be how he is. There was something a bit.... haunting about it, so to say.

Overall, I gave it still a solid four stars. I think its truly hard to follow Knox and Harper, or even Devon and Tanner, but its still a great read and I liked it alot!

This is Khloes and Keenans story. Keenan loves to be In control and Khloe loves to mess with Keenan and drive him crazy. But they can’t deny the chemistry and attraction. After Khloe gets into trouble Keenan stands by her even more and their attraction grows even more. This was a mix of drama and suspense all in one amazing story! Book given to me by author on netgalley

One of the things I love best about Suzanne's writing style is how kick butt she makes her heroines. Whenever someone asks for a recommendation for a book where the heroine holds her, and gives back as much as she gets, I always recommend Suzanne's books. Khloe is no exception. She can not only fight her own battles, but when she joins forces with her family they are virtually unstoppable. Every scene we got where Khloe had to use her power, or her brain to get herself or those she loves out of trouble just got better and better.

The sexual tension between Khloe and Keenan really ramped up the anticipation for when they would finally give in to their baser needs. The first time was HOT, and each scene after kept the flames burning. Their back, and forth banter was like foreplay, it stocked the fire until things exploded.

This book, like all of Suzanne's books had some twist, and turns. It kept you guessing as to what would happen next, who you could trust, and who would make it out alive. I love that I can't predict how her storylines will play out. I just have to take all the hints she gives, and hope I can piece it together before she ties it all up at the end.

Another great addition to a fantastic series.

I love LOVED this! I had to go do a series reread first, because why not, and I’m so glad I did. Khloe and Keenans story did not disappoint, we got the hilarity we are used to, action, hot hot moments, I won’t lie a moment of tears and so much more. Khloe is one of my favs and this story was great, I’m now more than ready for Rainis story but alas, I have a feeling we’ll be waiting a bit.
This is a must for series lovers and if you have not started this series, slap yourself and go do so now.

At first I was a little bit hesitant about Khloe and Keenans story because I saw them more as side characters. BUT Suzanne Wright has shown me the error in my thinking and reminded me why she is my favorite author!!

I loved Klhoe and Keenan so much! I actually read this twice before it released because I needed a quick SW fix lol.

My favorite part was Khloe's relationship with Asher! Oh my god those moments were soooo adorable!!

This is the 6th book of the series. It's been a minute since I was in this universe but the author does a great job of grabbing your attention from the start. I was immersed and invested within a chapter or two.

Khloe and Keenan have danced around each other for years. Each have a troubled past. There is no denying the attraction between them. When they finally act, it comes along with deadly occurances happening in the Demon world. Keenan is beside himself trying to protect Khloe. But Khloe has some secrets of her own and can defend herself quite well.

It was great to see both lairs work together. It is always great to see the self appointed "no relationship" dude fall quickly into love. Khloe is a handfull, but Keenan finally admits she means the world to him and they agree to move forward together. Loved the girl time. Great banter and fun always. Really intrigued by Harper and Knox's little guy. Holy Cow--talk about hidden skills!

Great suspense. Great romance. Great action scenes! Great read!! Grab the series.

Where do I even begin with this?.

We have been waiting a hot minute for khloé and Keenan's story so the anticipation was real. I knew going in that it would be crazy. I mean she's fucking nuts. When I tell you I couldn't freaking breath from laughing so hard, that is not an exaggeration. It's hilarious.

Khloé is definitely someone I could see myself being friends with. She has this magnetic personality that just draws your attention and attracts you to her. She's hilarious and downright outrageous with absolutely no filter and not a fuck to give. She's one of those characters that on the surface comes across like the class clown full of shits and giggles but it's apparent real quick in this story that there is far more to our gorgeous jokester than meets the eye. I do believe she'll be someone you're either going to love or hate because her personality is very in your face and exaggerated but for me that is what I loved about her. She honest to a fault in a way that absolutely rubs people the wrong way but make no mistake, that is purposeful on her part. The funny thing about her erratic eccentric personality is that she is very much independent and relies on no one. She's OCD when it comes to having order and control which although it is mentioned in previous stories is almost hard to believe because of how she is and what comes out of her mouth.

Keenan our alcoholic monster cock hero was definitely the question mark going into this story. We haven't seen as much of who he is through this series as we have khloé so I was intrigued to find out more. Now like with all of Suzanne's hero's, Keenan is a major control freak in every way. He's dominating, intimidating and wants to be in control of everything around him. Unfortunately for him he picked a woman who doesn't let anyone or anything have a say in what she does. lets just say that left him more than a little frustrated. He is very much the dark and brooding to her light and happy. He's untrusting and unforgiving with walls a mile high around him so it was a fun time watching khloé demolish every part his control and worm her way deep before he ever had the chance to protect himself.

They played a game of cat and mouse for years denying that burning connection and explosive chemistry between them so it was only right that it came back to bite them both in the arse. I mean when you play with fire you get burnt right?!. It's safe to say their journey was filled with ups and downs and many disagreements but let's face it, they were inevitable. I loved the bickering and banter between them.. it just served to add fuel to their already burning inferno and made for ALOT of hilarious scenes. The thing is what they have is undeniable they just had to come to terms with that. I loved how Keenan finally admitted to loving her, her crazy and all. I also loved when khloé finally felt like she could go to him in times on need. Like I said their journey was not easy and whilst I feel like their opposite personality kind of balanced the other out.. it still took a lot of work and many things to over come.

With every book from this author I am never disappointed. This was definitely a highly anticipated read but it lived up to every expectation and them some. I loved her world building and depthy characters. Her stories are multidimensional with so much to give they are quite literally the gift that keeps on giving. Her secondary characters are just as important as the hero and heroine and definitely add more goodness. It doesn't hurt that they are also equally as hilarious and loveable. Especially little Asher. There is never a dull moment in this book. The dynamics between the characters are so interesting that I found myself wanting more because I just love the way they all interact with one another. I also love how she not so subtly teases us with what's to come from certain characters *coughMaddox and Rainicough* INEEDTHEMNOW. She's a damn tease and the wait will be killer.

This is PNR at its best. Great world build with no plot holes or random fillers just to fill the pages. Intriguing and well written characters that are both loveable and actually have substance to them so you as a reader can connect and relate to them. A story that's exciting and filled with lots of unexpected surprises to keep shit interesting. Honestly there is never a dull moment. I laughed my arse off through most of it purely because of how hilarious khloé is and also because I'm pretty sure she nearly gave Keenan a fucking stress stroke. There is just something about the way this author writes that has me addicted. I can easily say I've never read anyone who writes like her, she's completely original. Her snark and humour are so on point.. I mean that's what I love the most to be fair.

It's crazy unpredictable and filled with a tonne of hilariously outrageous shenanigans. It's frustrating and at times suspenseful but it's also got so much steam you'll need a minute to control yourself. It really is a great read and not just for PNR lovers. If you like strong characters, well developed storylines and a good dose of sarcasm then this author is definitely for you.

I’ve been reading Suzanne Wright from the very beginning of her career. She never disappoints (I mean I’ve liked a book or two less than the others, but never have found a flop). Suzanne is definitely on my buy list. I barely even read the synopsis before I dive right in. Keenan and Khloe were a good match. Not better than Harper and Knox, they didn’t feel as serious and gut wrenching, but they were fun and sexy (which is definitely needed in times like these). This book was an excellent distraction from the crazy world we are living in. There were a lot of external complications to their story, but the romance part was straight forward and didn’t play games (well maybe a few games but they were the fun kind). Read the Harper and Knox books, then pick up this one for a continuation fo the series and some more world building. I would give it 4.5 stars. I received an ARC copy of this book in exchange for a review, but these thoughts are absolutely my own.

So Freaking awesome! I seriously loved it! The chemistry. The angst. The storyline. The thrilling action pact love fest just grabs you and won't let go! Keenan and Khloe have been fighting their feelings for so long they can almost fool themselves into believing they feel nothing. It's scorching and every one can see it. Until one little bet changes everything. Once could never be enough, especially with a ruthless enemy is after her and will stop at nothing to reach his goal. It's a race against time to defeat him before it destroys everything Keenan holds dear.

Omens is the sixth book in the Dark in You series by Suzanne Wright and features the long awaited pairing of Khloe, an imp and Keenan, an incubus and it’s definitely a case of when opposites attract. In some ways Khloe is so organised she’s almost anal about the precision in the placement of her stapler and then she goes and blows it by doing something completely impish usually involving some random item such a traffic cone and of course, copious amounts of alcohol. She was described to a T in a previous book when it was said that she’d make an excellent army general…. but then her own troops would most likely shoot her. Keenan has spent the last few years basically acting as her unofficial baby sitter pulling her out of one mess after another. Now the incubus has finally had enough of losing his legendary control whenever he’s around her and decides to act on the attraction he feels. Knowing Khloe as well as he does he makes a bet with her where if he wins, he gets one night with her. With the electric chemistry between them though will once be enough?

Suzanne Wright is one of those authors who could announce she’s publishing her shopping list and I would pre-order it. As a rule I’m not a huge PNR fan but with the wonderful paranormal world underneath Las Vegas where demons hide in plain sight that she has created, filled with characters who are all strong willed, sarcastic females and alpha men and her plots that are filled with strong, humorous, family dynamics, witty banter and lots of sexy times. I can’t help but want more of the same. Personally I’d love to go on a night out with Harper, Khloe and the girls. There is a huge cast of secondary character such as the Wallis imps and who can forget Lucifer himself who manages to steal the show every time he makes an appearance. This is a series I hope will go on for many more books to come.

Omens is book 6 in Suzanne Wright’s fantasy/paranormal romance series The Dark in You, which finally focuses on developing the love/hate relationship and fiery chemistry between Keenan and Khloé. While I didn’t love this one as much as I love the books in Wright’s Phoenix Pack and Alpha Pack Series, which would be difficult to be honest, Omens is a humorous, creepy, very sexually charged, and entertaining paranormal romance featuring an interesting cast of characters, an intriguing story and thrilling action sequences.

This is my first book in this series, so most of the time I felt like needed background information on a lot of the characters and their connections was missing for me. That’s not to say Wright didn’t do a good job of dropping enough basic information for readers to be able to piece things together. The development of the characters and their relationships, particularly Keenan’s and Khloé’s was nicely done, and information was provided effectively without slowing down the story too much. But you are left wanting to know how the characters got to here, which makes you think the books are better read in conjunction. Omens has Wright’s bawdy and off-beat sense of humor to keep things interesting as she explores different territory with this series. This world is inhabited by demons of various kinds, angels, Nephilim, incubi, imps, etc. but at the core still focuses on familial bonds, mates, love and the connections that draw beings together.

Keenan is an incubus who prides himself on maintaining control over all things in his life and his world – particularly himself. So, of course Khloé – the one being that has the power to make him lose control and drive him up the wall – is the one that he can’t stop thinking about, desiring, and wanting to make his. The attraction definitely isn’t one-sided that’s for sure. An Imp, Khloé has a special talent for getting on people’s nerves and making them crazy, even those who love her. Khloé knows that being an incubus gives Keenan an inside advantage, which he doesn’t need. Although her heart and mind agree that avoiding any sexual or romantic entanglements with him at all costs is best, her body and her demon refuse to get the message. She’s immune to Keenan’s incubus powers but she is drawn to him so strongly, that she amps up her annoying personality and habits when she’s around him to an almost silly and immature degree just to keep him away and protect herself. Not that it helps much. Keenan can’t stop himself from looking out for her and taking care of her no matter how crazy or weird she acts. After another night of their back and forth exchanges they agree to a bet that will put them and the chemistry simmering between them to the test. The development of their relationship is complicated by a killer with a creepy love for death seeking revenge against Khloé and her family and Keenan’s ex who doesn’t know how to take a hint.

Wright’s development of Keenan and Khloé as they finally stop dancing around their year’s long attraction and their relationship progresses and deepens is brilliantly done. Both have trust issues and a reluctance to pursue emotional entanglements, engaging only in shallow affairs. Keenan’s traumatic childhood made him hold himself back from getting emotionally involved and a past relationship from his youth made trust more difficult for him. Having an alcoholic parent with a stream of bad relationships, left Khloé determined to avoid becoming involved with anyone like that. Khloé behaves less immature and silly, without losing or changing her quirky, in your face personality. She just stops actively acting out to push him away. Keenan becomes more outwardly expressive with his feelings for Khloé. They both soften and mellow each other, in a good way as they work to become partners and fit into each other’s lives.

While not quite a page turner, Omens is an enjoyable paranormal romance with a good balance of fantasy, action, horror, suspense, angst, and steamy romance that explores the incredible power of letting go of the past and taking a chance on love.

OMG!!! This book is AMAZING!!! Khloe and Keenan don't have a easy ride to happiness but it's worth it. You will laugh with them, want to slap them silly and root for them but I'm telling you: This is Not a book you want to miss.
Suzanne Wright is my go to author when I'm in a funk and she never fails to take me out of said book funk.
Buy it, read it but most important ENJOY IT!

I'm not usually into books with entities/ demons but I love Suzanne Wright and decided to give it a try. WOW!!! It was awesome. So awesome im abt to start reading the first book in the series. I was hooked since chapter 1. I am really happy I decided to read it. She makes heroines you want to be. Khloe is fierce and strong, abs freaking hilarious. And she makes heros that you want to be. Keenan is so yummy with his determination, overprotectiveness, and his demon was adorable. He reminded me of the wolves from Phoenix pack series. I'll give this book a 11/ 10.

This was fantastic!

I had been looking forward to Khloe's story, and Wright didn't disappoint.

I enjoyed the humor and was drawn into the storyline. The chemistry was great. The writing was great. Everything was great.

It could be read as a standalone, but it would probably be even more enjoyable if you read some of the related books first.

All together, I highly recommend this one.

I received this book as an ARC group member in exchange for an honest review.

Suzanne has done it again. Disclaimer: I love all of Suzanne’s books and this one is no different. I am re-reading this book again now, so I may update my review again. No spoilers.

This story revolves around Khloe and Keenan. They’ve been dancing around each other since the beginning and now that they’ve finally decided to see what’s between them, explosive.

I was really surprised to see how strong an imp Khloe is..sure she’s crazy, a good crazy, but crazy nonetheless..but she’s got some real power behind her even though she doesn’t let it show..it’s funny how she’s always the one who’s drunk, yet she’s always on Keenan about his drinking. Keenan is a strong demon/ incubus all on his own. We got to know his back story and how his time in the orphanage shaped him. Watching him and Knox interact was awesome. He stood his ground against his boss/ friend, but for some reason Knox seemed a little less “crazy” to me in this story. He wasn’t a push over, but he let Inez get away with more than he should have.

Asher will blow your mind. He’s getting stronger and stronger and Harper and Knox have reason to be worried..can’t wait for his story.

You’ll definitely enjoy this latest installment. There’s hot sex, hysterical girl get together, the worse villain so far, belly laughs with the imps and secondary characters, suspense, and most of all, another sexy HEA for a couple who looked like they wouldn’t be awesome together outside of the bedroom, but fortunately, we were so wrong.

I am definitely a Suzanne Wright fangirl and Khloe and Keenan's book was one of the most anticipated books of 2020 for me. Did it deliver... well hell yeah it did!!!

Khloe has always been my favorite character in this series. Funny as hell though chick.. just how I like my heroines. And she stayed that way throughout the whole book. Keenan did surprise me a bit, however... In a good way that is. He was so much hotter and protective then I figured he would be. Damn these two were on fire!!!

Now I don't want to give anything away plotwise, so you will just have to trust me when I say that this one was definitely worth the wait.

I also loved visiting with all my favorites again. Can't wait for the next one in this series, but one thing is for sure... Suzanne always delivers !!!

Go jump in right now.... I wish I could unread it and do it all over again!!

She did it again!!! What an incredible story!
Omens brings us back to the beloved characters we already knew, telling the story of Khloe and Keenan. I was really excited about this couple since the first book, because since the beginning it was clear that they belonged together. And I wasn’t disappointed! What a ride!!
Khloe is the most random and funny person I’ve ever read about, I wish I had half the fun she has with everything in her life. Keenan was the perfect balance, they complimented each other incredibly.
That ending was just torture... I really CANNOT WAIT for the next book!!
If you haven’t read this series ter, you are seriously missing out, it’s incredible!!
