I loved this book! It's well-written, enjoyable, and a great read. Melissa Ferguson did a great job of writing in a way that captures the readers attention, and makes you not want to put it down until you're finished! I would highly recommend it!

This was a cute romcom about Bree and Chip who start off as frenemies and build a relationship together. To be honest, I’m not a huge fan of pranking, so that was a little much for me. I thought they had good chemistry, I would have liked to see more.

This book just didn't quite work for me. I never really got pulled in by the plot or characters despite trying to push through.

I have to be honest. I was not a huge fan of this book. I was just not as invested in the characters as much as I would have liked. I have read other books by this author and liked them. This story I guess just wasn’t for me.

This book begins with an adorable meet-cute between Bree and Chip at their local community theater. The flirtation continues when Chip happens to buy the house next door to Bree and chaos ensues. This book was cute and funny, but I did feel like the "war" went on a little too long and the agreement with her parents seemed a little unfair or lopsided. All in all it was a quick, cute read!

The Cul-de-Sac War is a book I was really looking forward to reading and, while I liked it, I didn't love it as much as I had expected to.

I thought the book was written well and I did laugh a few times, but some of the characters actions/pranks went a little too extreme and were just silly to me. I also found certain aspects unbelievable.

The romance was cute and I did like how Chip at one point did something very selfless in order to care for/help Bree (trying not to be specific in order to avoid spoilers).

All in all, I liked The Cul-de-Sac War. It was a fine one-time read.

Neighbors can be wonderful or a royal pain, as in the case of Bree and Evie as next door neighbors to the struggling contractor, Chip McBride. Bree and Evie are forced to share her grandmother's home as per her will, and they form a very odd friendship.
First off, I have to admit that the rom com definitely is not my genre, but I thought that Melissa Ferguson penned this one pretty well until Bree went a little overboard. The tone of the novel was playfully teasing until the very end, so it flowed very smoothly and it seemed to be a pretty quick read that I was surprised to enjoy, for the most part. If you like the love/hate relationship troupe, then this one is for you.

Bree Leake has only ever really wanted one thing, her grandmother's house. She however hates to stay in any one place for long, but she is willing to do it for a year to get the house she loves. Unfortunately, there is a man, Chip McBride, that lives in the cul-de-sac that is driving her crazy. Can she stay long enough to get the house she has always loved?

I really tried to love this book but the pranks felt over the top, the author can write so I will definitely revisit their work

After reading a few chapters into this one I decided it is not the book for me and made the decision to DNF. I will consider reading future books by Melissa Ferguson since her first book had so many great reviews.

A fun chick lit book, I enjoyed this story, while not loving it. The fights seemed a bit far fetched to me, especially with the romantic plot lines combined. I found it still, entertaining and would say if you want a light book to read, this is one to pick up!
