Super cute! A perfect book for new and soon-to-be parents who enjoy fashion, or just like non-traditional ABC books. Each letter represents a word that illustrates an aspect of fashion- for instance, the cover shows the "O is for Oversized" illustration- in a way that relates to little ones. The artwork is bold and bright, and there's a glossary in the back to explain the terms used in the text. This is one that will be fun for adults, too- they can laugh at the new meanings of the fashion terms!

I enjoyed this cute alphabet book for fashionistas. The graphics and terms are fun. There is a glossary in the back for all the fashion terms. Adults and young children will enjoy this book. It will make a great gift

This book was a lot of fun. It’s a simple alphabet book that gives you fashion words like Nip Slip and Go Commando, and mixes it will illustrations that change the meaning of these words one someone has kids. Many adults will like this just as well as their kids do.

This is a fun ABC book from James Tyler. Kids will not be familiar with most of the fashion terms but parents will... making it a fun read for both young and old to enjoy.

This sassy book is a celebration of kiddie couture and how to launch kids into their day looking mighty find indeed.

Familiar words from the fashion world celebrate the letters from A to Z: bold prints are made by grubby hands, power dressing involves a mask and cape, and luxury is being able to sleep through the night. Ahhhhhh!

The chic illustrations are kid-friendly and the double - meaning, playful text is educational as well as entertaining. This would be an excellent gift to give at a baby shower or at the birth of a newborn. A wonderful debut book and a perfect accessory for reading anytime, anywhere. I recommend this book, Darling!

This book is absolutely adorable. It introduces fashion vocabulary, but gives a baby/ toddler equivalent. I laughed out loud multiple times, and I think many other adults will, too. Illustrations are beautiful.

This book is adorable. The illustrations are humorous and brought a smile to my face. It is a book I will recommend as a shower gift for the mom with a sense of style and humor.

This is a charming little ABC’s book that is based on the fashion world! The illustrations are on point and very engaging for little readers and very funny for the adults sharing the experience with their mini designers-in-the-making. I loved the way each letter was described and the subtle colors used in the illustrations.

I get the fun whimsy behind this but when I think about the audience for it I’m a bit perplexed. Most of the terms and then subsequent images were from a baby’s perspective, but some just weren’t. I think this would be fine for a baby to flip through and drool on and what have you.. but the play on words and even imagery will be confusing/ lost on all little ones.. if this is super funny to the adult human then I think it would be great because they’ll love reading it and exposure is exposure.

Just kinda missed the mark for me/ couldn’t picture where it would fit(not that all books have to, I suppose!).

Thanks to the publishers and Netgalley for an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

F is for Fashion is a cute board book taking fashion terms and applying them to babies! A cute baby shower gift for sure.

*ARC was provided by Quarto Publishing Group – Wide Eyed Editions through NetGalley.

I might have enjoyed this more if I were a parent - I originally thought this was going to be like a children's-level introduction to fashion, but it's more humorous, pairing traditional fashion jargon with scenarios parents are more likely to experience.

For Millennials they may or may not understand all of the ABC’s so it’s a good thing there is a glossary! However, they probably will become bored before that point and close the book! Personally, I didn’t think the graphics were grabbing and standing out enough. They were cute but they just didn’t hold my attention like bolder colors. I had my ten year old granddaughter look at the book with me later after I had reviewed it several times and she didn’t get some of the terms and she only liked some of the letters. One of her comments was it looked old-fashioned and why would little kids want to look at it? I told her I think it was more for the adults and she quoted “Then this is a even sillier book ,grandma “ . However, it may become popular for those new parents and starting families and people in the fashion industry! Overall it’s not a bad idea, just needs tweaking to be brighter!
I received a advanced copy from NetGalley and I willingly am giving my thoughts and opinions!

O M G!!!

Hahahha!!!

Let me happy laugh for a second here!

I never thought an alphabetical picture book on fashion terms would ever happened!

But it's happening ☺️

No matter what people say I love this

This one is such a game changer!

Kudos to the team.

Love it!

I would introduce such fashion terms to my daughter.

No, it's not misleading to do so.

No, it's not materialistic to be fashionable.

No, it's not only adult thing.

Yes, it is essential.

Fashion is. And not ignorance is.

Yes, that makes sense.

Thank you #NetGalley for the ARC.

I loved this book!

F is for Fashion, Darling takes iconic words and phrases from the world of fashion and mixes them with tongue-in-cheek meanings for new parents - my daughter has recently turned 3 and so much of this book was relevant to me - e.g. Distressed is matched with a picture of a crying child for one and I thought that was about right! :)

The bright images and clear colours will attract little ones that are learning the alphabet whilst it gives mummies, daddies and grandparents the chance to reminisce on when they had nice things that weren't hidden away!

It is 5 stars from me for this one and it would be a fun baby shower or secret santa gift for new parents! What a fab idea for an ABC book!!

Cute ABC book for your little fashionista! I thought it was a little more for the adult reading the book than the child listening.

This alphabet book is intended to be fun for a baby but even more so for baby's adult.  Babies will see some adorable illustrations and fashion ABCs while adults will enjoy the sense of humor that permeates this title.  For example, E is for evening wear shows a picture of a child's slippers.  New parents may well chuckle as they contemplate what evening wear might have once meant to them.   The book is full of this kind of amusement and should bemuse new parents..

Many thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for this title in exchange for an honest review.

Cute picture book of the alphabet with fashion terms. I really enjoyed the color scheme and the graphics. I would love to see this as a board book! Could be a great baby gift for your fashionable friend with a new little bundle of joy.

Adorable illustrations, but I would gave preferred the definitions in the pages themselves instead of the glossary.

I was excited for this book and thought it would be a great introduction for little fashionistas. The book wasn't exactly what I expected and I was somewhat disappointed. I was looking for more of a book about fashion principles and while this book had a few, it also had things that were somewhat unrelated.

This is a bit of an odd one. Definitely one of those children's books that's really intended for the parents. Nice bright and bold illustrations though and some amusing word play.

F is for Fashion, Darling is adorable. It's not really for the kids, it's definitely for the parents, but that's what you expect when you see the cover anyway.

Thank you to NetGalley for the ARC for an honest opinion.
