The alphabet done to be earthly friendly really does work. The words chosen for various letters are not a stretch and even invite new vocabulary. However the snippets to go with each word are sometimes harsh. They try to rhyme, but more often than not miss a cadence which makes reading fun. The information is still good and interesting, so overall the book is a success.

I received an advance reader copy of this book to read in exchange for an honest review via netgalley and the publishers.

ABC Earth-Friendly me is a fantastic early learning book which not only helps teach young children the alphabet but also teaches them from a young age about caring for the world we live in.

This book has bright and beautiful illustrations and is gold in rhyming format.

This is such an important topic today and you can never start too young or even too old for that matter in learning how to help and make a difference.

I enjoyed this alphabet book. I always enjoy rhyming in picture books and I appreciated that in this one. I think that the topics introduced in this book are great to start to introduce to little ones. Everything that this book talks about is something that the little ones can do on their own or help grown-ups with. I did want just a bit more about each topic that was introduced. I can't wait to buy this for the little ones in my life.

A walk thru the ABC's on how we can take personal responsibility to care for the earth. Starting with A to take to action. The book gives kiddos an awareness of how we are damaging the earth with waste, pollution, and neglect. It has 16 big words for this age group so the question becomes is it for more adults than children. The book ends with different things each of us can do and would make a good family activity.

Caring for the earth is a good thing however, some of it appears to me political. I like seeing where kids can be kids and we don't put the whole weight of the world on their shoulders.

A special thank you to Quarto Publishing and Netgalley for the ARC and the opportunity to post an honest review.

This is a fabulous children's book with beautiful illustrations and very informative writing. My daughter and I learned a lot by reading this book together and it is a book that I will read more with her. She enjoyed looking at the illustrations while I read the words to her.

The book shows how to be more earth friendly, while each description relates to a letter of the alphabet. We learned how to recycle and donate unwanted items, how to save water, how to have less waste, how to compost, that we should do more in our local community, that we should make our own items, that we should use less plastic, how the trees and bees help us and much more! This would be a great book to use in schools. We loved this book.

Thanks to the publisher and Netgalley for allowing me to read this book in exchange for an honest review.

My eight and five year old loved this book and I was so happy to have the learning aspect of this explained in a clear way! The way I read this book to them made it easy for them interactive with me throughout the story and while there was a good handful of information they never bored or uninterested! This is a great way to teach kids and show how deeply it relates to their life and what they can do to help or change.

This is a fabulous book to discuss with children the importance of taking care of our environment. This shows various ways to do just that such as composting, reusing, saying no to single use plastic, and swapping. It also has a glossary in the back with definitions to more difficult words in the book.

I love the other ones in the series of these 'ABC What Will She Be?' And 'ABC Love' both right up my street, in terms of the morals and values I'm keen to teach my daughter!

This newest title is so relevant right now, has bright and colourful illustrations throughout and is a must have for any bookshelf!

This alphabet book for young children is designed with the planet in mind.  It includes many suggestions for ways to take care of our earth.  For example the letter C is for compost, F is for fix it (instead of throwing things out), and R is for recycle.  The illustrations are cute and cheerful.  Hopefully this title will inspire our next generations of eco activists.

Many thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for this title in exchange for an honest review.

My son has been used for a guinea pig for this book. I sat down to read it to him and see what he thought. He is 5, and while he is learning his ABC's, I think he found the book difficult to follow and started losing interest around the letter R.

I found the idea and illustration of the book to be interesting, however I think the content is a bit more advanced for those learning about the alphabet. It had some good ideas for how to be more environmentally thinking which parents may pick up on, but some of it goes over little ones heads.

Would recommend for adults to read the letters to the children, but the actual learning side is better aimed for children of an age that understand the environment a bit more.

Full of bright colors and cutely stylistic artwork, ABC Earth-Friendly Me is a great introduction to Earth stewardship and environmentalism for children. As is usually my opinion, the rhyming was unnecessary but cute and the ABCs is used more as a device than actually teaching the ABC sounds to beginner readers (the K word they chose is "Knowledge"), but this is a nice resource with even more info in the back matter.

This is a great book to introduce eco topics to children. I think each page is an opener for a whole topic/project. The pictures are bright and inviting. Although the text is very concise and so is aimed at younger children, the content is much more advanced and would need explaining.

My 8-year-old walked into the room as I was reading ABC Earth-Friendly Me, and she immediately sat down next to me and started reading it, too. (Always a good sign for a children's book!) I loved the diversity included in the illustrations and all the fun (and simple!) ideas to become more earth-friendly as a family. The glossary in the back was a nice touch for older readers who want to learn more!

ABC Earth-Friendly Me is a wonderful introduction to taking care of the Earth. The alphabet portion of the book is filled with brightly colored illustrations and simple text alongside important words for creating an earth-friendly environment. The text flows and gives even the youngest readers ideas for how to help.
Once the ABC portion is over the book gives tangible ideas for how to help and then has a bit of a word recap in the back.
Love this book and the series!

A very colorful and interesting book to introduce children about the importance of environment.
Words selected alphabetically are relevant, easy and understandable for young children.
Only thing that was a little put off was rhyming. That was inconsistent and felt like forced attempt.

Thank you to NetGalley for a copy to review. I cannot wait to gift this book to my kids, nieces, nephews, and my classroom. The beautiful illustrations capture the essence of each short alphabet action item. There are 26 practical actions for the reader to adopt to help our planet. This is a must have book for every library, home, and classroom.

This was cute and sweet. I liked the idea and the words selected. The explanations were good, too, but the rhyme scheme was irregular and that bothered me. But that's just a personal taste thing.

This colorful book would be a fun introduction to earth consciousness. The illustrations weren’t my favorite, but I liked the words used for each letter of the alphabet.

Love, love, love it!!! Hugely informative in a really interesting and succinct way with gorgeous bright, bold illustrations. Set out in an A-Z format, this book explains to children how they can be more environmentally friendly. It is a discussion starter and provides great ideas for adults for things to do with their children too. The ‘What is?’ Section at the end is so good at explaining certain concepts and terms mentioned throughout. It was perfect for my 4 and 6 year old and I think this would be great for classroom learning too.
