'Brina the Cat #2: City Cat' by Giorgio Salati and Christian Cornia continues the adventures of the wayward and curious cat.

Brina spent the first issue lost in the mountains. Now she is home, but not without further fun adventures. She makes new friends along the way, like the pigeon stuck in the attic, or the lovelorn parrot in a cage on the roof. Her adventures eventually take her and her owners back to the mountains and a reunion with her friends from Volume 1.

I liked this series of short stories about Brina. She is a good character and the mishaps always have happy endings. This is a fun series for young readers.

I received a review copy of this graphic novel from Papercutz and NetGalley in exchange for an honest review. Thank you for allowing me to review this graphic novel.

Love both of these books, especially the cat and the dad's relationship. Art work is great and this would be fun for kids, teens and adults. Really a cat enthusiast and non cat people because they can relate and laugh at the rotten antics that happen too!

Brina the Cat 2, City Cat is a fun adventure for cat lovers. When Brina gets a taste of freedom while on holiday in the countryside, she finds it difficult to return to her old, tame life in the city. She decides to hit the streets and discovers all sorts of new adventures. This is an appealing, accessible graphic novel full of new friends, mishaps and positive messages.

The illustrations were cute, but occasionally lacked the expression I was looking for in a children's story about animals. For example, I expected to be able to consistently tell how the characters felt based on the illustrations but found numerous examples when this was not the case.

The stories themselves were also quite simple with a slightly heavy-handed moral. This was not entirely out of place given the audience but could have been done with more finesse.

I did enjoy the episodic nature of the individual stories and expect younger children will as well.

All in all, I feel this is a cute book with cute illustrations but not exactly an award winner.

An adorable story about a cat and her cohorts that children of all ages will enjoy. I especially love that it a series of short stories! And you even get to experience the world through Brina's eyes.

Thank you to the publisher for giving me this free copy in exchange for an honest review.

I liked this one. It wasn't so different from any other comic I've ever read but it was still a fun read.

Brina the cat goes on more adventures and finds comrades/friends along the way.
But there are also some obstacles on the way there.

I think the comic is very fun and that the story was very well executed. The characters are very likable and you will proceed to enjoy the comic the whole way through.

I love cats and I love Brina the City Cat!
This is a comic book for children of all ages, but especially for cat lovers. It is a series of short stories, in which the adventures of Brina, a fearless city kitten, are narrated.
Personally, my favorite chapter is Chapter 7, which explains what happiness is through the eyes of a cat; I believe that we humans should learn from this lesson and thus we would make this world a better world for everyone, regardless of race, education or social situation.

One of the best graphic novels I have ever read. The book follow a year in life of Brina the cat. The cat is a lovely character, very smart, polite and kind. I haven't been though such a remarkable graphic novel for a while and can't wait to get myself a copy. I was expecting a good read but this was a great read. I would love to read more about Brina.

Brina the Cat is a true delight. The second in the series continues on with Brina's adventures. She makes new friends, helps them and in turn they help her. A great comic for youngers.

The second part of an adorable kitty named Brina, the sequel doesn't disappoint. Brina is followed by adventures, she does not have to look for them, and she escapes in ingenious ways, a kitten who teaches us friendship and sharing in a fun way. Illustrations make the story more beautiful, keeping you smiling on every page.
Highly recommended reading.

Brina the Cat makes me smile! After reading the first book of her adventures, I have been waiting for the sequel. The sequel does not disappoint. Brina does not let any grass grow under her tiny paws. She does not even have to look for adventure. It manages to find her. And just as most cats with nine lives, she lands her feet every time. Not only is this an entertaining read, but it also teaches friendship and sharing in a fun way. The graphics are beautiful, and the use of chapters is a great early introduction to that phase of reading. Thank you to NetGalley, the author and publisher for the opportunity to review this book. I am looking forward to the next book of Brina’s adventures!

Brina the Cat #2 is a short book about the cat Brina and her adventures.
The book has a few chapters, each of which is a standalone story about one of Brina's adventures. While the chapters are in chronological order, they are still standalone enough, that I didn't mind the fact that I haven't read the first book in the series.
The stories about Brina are fun and nicely written, and it does show that they were written with children as targeted audience. However, the book can still offer some enjoyment to older readers.
While I do feel that the stories were a bit too over-simplified for me, I think that this is a great children's book and that kids will enjoy it quite a lot.

*Thanks to NetGalley and Papercutz for providing me with an ARC of this title in exchange for an honest review.*

This sequel to Brina The Cat was just as much fun as the first!

I really enjoyed seeing Brina’s new adventures and all of the mischief a small little city cat can get herself into.

My favourite aspect of these stories is definitely the friendship dynamic and how helping those in need is always the right thing to do.

As always, I really enjoyed the art style and I can’t wait to read more in the future.

3/5 ⭐️
