I love Cleo Wade and I cannot wait to buy a physical copy of this book for myself. Filled with Cleo Wade's signature of beautiful handwritten prose, this journal is a must-have for everyone!

I read through this rather than journaling like it was intended. I really enjoyed it, but probably should have read Heart Talk first. I intend to buy copies of both Heart Talk and the Journal to be able to experience them together.

I loved the original Heart Talk and this was no different. This is a lovely book that I will likely buy at some point due to the nature of it being meant for daily use over the course of a year. I highly recommend this for anyone seeking gorgeous guidance and great journaling prompts.

I've been making my way through this book as an act of self care during nursing school. Its been so helpful to review and reflect and be gentle with myself during this extremely hard time. I'm so stressed out and finding myself depressed. This book has given me a renewed faith in myself.

3.5 stars! I didn’t enjoy this one as much as the book Heart Talk but I think it would be a good journal to work through with the added info from the book Heart Talk. I still did get a few good quotes from this journal and it is very inspirational.

Heart Talk: The Journal by Cleo Wade is supplement to the author's previously published book "Heart Talk". This journal was written to help the reader reflect to discover themselves and create space in their day for discovery. This is a year-long journal that is organized into 52 weeks with 52 chapters. Each week has a short introduction followed by a weekly mantra and a series of questions. The questions are very open-ended, such as "I am...", "I am saying yes to...", etc which can be very hard at first for people new to journaling but is also an opportunity for creativity. I found the questions helpful and the mantras and poems inspiring. However I wish the writing would have connected more to the actual book since this is a companion to it and I didn't necessarily see how it was relating to the heart talk. I think if the author had each week you go through certain sections relevant to the book would have been valuable. Overall, the writing is nice and would recommend this for individuals who love Cleo Wade.

Many thanks to the publisher Atria Books and Netgalley for the ARC in return for an honest review.

"Heart Talk: The Journal" is a companion to Cleo Wade's "Heart Talk" a poetic self help book. I found myself drawn to this because of my interest in journalling and self help journey. The prompts were perfect for someone who needs a small amount of structure to get started but likes open-ended opportunities. I enjoy Cleo Wade for her feminism and her approach to betterment by first applying self-care before all others.

I've only done about 10 of the weeks but I've found it helpful so far, I will try to update in the future to how it fares for me.

I am a huge fan of Cleo Wade and loved both Heart Talk and Where to Begin and I love journaling, so when I saw this journal, I knew I had to read it.

And it did not disappoint. I've been working with this book for over a month, now and I've loved all of it.

This beautiful journal has a different topic area to explore each week. Each week starts with a short introduction from Cleo Wade on the topic to introduce, an encouragement to dig deep, push yourself, or remind yourself and then a handful of guiding prompts that are both on topic and open-ended.

There is a wide variety of topics but they all live at the intersection of challenging you, inspiring you and encouraging you which is exactly what Cleo Wade's work does for me. So very grateful for this beautiful book and the time I have (and will continue to) spent with it.

with gratitude to netgalley and Atria Books for an advanced copy in exchange for an honest review

Such a lovely, natural companion to Cleo Wade's "Heart Talk". Journaling is a free form of therapy and the detailed prompts along with the words and quotes of motivation along the way allowed me to get the best out of journal. The prompts challenged me, made me look at myself introspectively during the time of quarantine and grow as a person. I can't wait for this to come out into the world so that everyone can go on the same journey as I did.

Thank You Publisher for Sending me and ARC in exchange for an honest review.

I wanted to love this book, but just couldn't get into it. I think it could have been really fun but I just couldn't get into the writing style, or genre preference.

I adore Cleo Wade! I follow her on Instagram and so I knew I immediately wanted to get my hands on this book! I haven't read through all of it yet, have been flipping around to different sections that I feel that my heart needs at the moment and I love what she has to say and that I can add my own "poetic wisdom" as she says, to these pages! I will most likely buy this for myself so I can write in it and enjoy it some more.

Thank you NetGalley for this ARC!

This journal is a beautiful, self-compassionate, mindful, and holistic approach to self-discovery, healing, and overall attuned living. The prompts are informative and gentle and Cleo Wade's passion and compassion are evident in each page. There is ample space to explore these topics related to the self and can be applied for all ages for any individual looking to feel more in touch with themselves. There is an eloquent balance of guidance and freedom, while also feeling like you are being supported by a dear friend. The quotes between prompts make you stop and think and could be prompts on their own for even more self-discovery. A true diamond of a book and journal.
