It was wonderful to discover so many trailblazing women from all over the world. They have such amazing, touching stories. This was a good starter for me and I was interested in investigating more about some of the stories I read. One in particular was Olga Korbut, the Korbut flip is breath-taking!

Another positive example of representation for youth and adults everywhere! Good Night Stories series should be required reading at schools as it is so important for youth to see people that look like themselves and provides motivation and encouragement to follow their passions and dreams no matter what. Love love love!

Inspiring stories, perfect for readers who want to learn more about diversity or teachers who want to include more diversity in their lesson plans. Important information and resources for understanding current events.

I received an egalley of this book in exchange for an honest review.

This was really interesting. I like that it wasn't focused only on immigrants to the US. I felt like it was a good variety of women and stories. Very interesting.

Rebel Girls never disappoints! The latest in the series follows immigrant women across the world and how they've made the world a better place. I still don't think these books are great for 'storytimes' but they're great for an in-depth discussion with kids.

This is the latest instalment in the Goodnight Stories for Rebel Girls by Elena Favilli. And much like all her previous books, this one doesn't disappoint. It is a fantastic collection of immigrant women who have changed the world. There are many who may be familiar, but of course there are also many who I have never heard of, so it provided me with a fantastic insight into their lives. I would wholeheartedly recommend this book, and all books in this series, as a gift for girls seeking positive role models and inspiration in the world.
The illustrations truly celebrate the lives of these women and their achievements.

Beautiful book that follow the same dynamic of the previous books of the “saga”. Short and interesting stories of powerful women.

I beleive it is the perfect gift for a family with children that have the tradition to read a good night story (or would like to start it).

I find this series to be more of a great idea than a great compilation. The idea behind these are wonderful but they are not very well thought out. This is not stories for bedtime. This would spark way to many questions and much conversation for young children to grasp before bed. Then again, I don't think that all of these women necessarily changed the world either.

Thank you to NetGalley for providing me with an e-copy of this book.
This is the third book in the Good Night Stories for Rebel Girls series, inspiring young people through a range of easily accessible accounts of different variations of success- this time focusing on the achievements of immigrants from all over the world. This my first experience with a Good Night Stories for Rebel Girls book, but definitely won't be my last!
I found this book to be an inspiring but equally relaxing read, as I could dip in and out of the pages whenever I had the time and always knew I'd be discovering the admirable successes of somebody new to me. I liked the diverse interpretations of success within this book, as occupations from ballerina to scientist and everything in between were explored. With the amount of countries mentioned, any reader is bound to find someone they can recognise or relate to- however there were some countries that I felt could have used more representation, particularly those in Africa. I was struck by the attractiveness of this books structure, the constant colourful illustrations from a wide range of artists is sure to keep the attention of any reader. I'd recommend this book for any age, but particularly older children who are eager to learn and starting to confidently read on their own. I think this book would make a valuable addition to any readers' collection, and can't wait to read the earlier titles!

Once again, this series didn't disappoint!

Beautiful illustrations. Great choices in who to feature (I loved that a couple from my neck or the woods were included too). And a diverse range of careers - neuroscientists to ballerinas with activists and authors in between!

Another fantastic addition to the Rebel Girls series, this time highlighting 100 inspirational immigrant women! Like the other books in the series, the book features women of different backgrounds, races, ethnicities, and ages. You'll read about politicians, athletes, activists, scientists, and doctors. This is the PERFECT series for little ones because it shows the strength and perseverance of incredible women.

This book taught me about so many important women throughout history, that I never heard of but that were so damn interesting. I wish I had these books as a child, they’re just very empowering to read and also pretty to look at, I am a huge fan of the colourful design.

This was the first of the Good Night Stories for Rebel Girls books I've read and I adored it. I loved learning about these amazing immigrant women and their different accomplishments. The stories are short enough to read one or two for bed time. While the book says "for rebel girls", anyone who reads this will find someone they can relate to and be inspired by, as there are athletes, activists, writers, scientists, doctors, and more.

The pictures are beautiful, the stories short but important, and the women some of the most fascinating.

Focusing on immigrants in this version of the book, we are introduced to doctors, scientists, artists, chefs, activists, athletes and so many more strong and capable women that can be looked up to and admired.

My kids and I loved this book and look forward to reading it regularly!

Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for my ARC

Amazing, Super inspirational! The moment i got the book, I was pretty excited thinking that, why this book wasn't there when I was a child...I know I would've adored this one like I'm doing now.

In one word - Spectacular writing & Mind Blowing Illustration!

Thank you NetGalley for the gifted copy.

Again, as in the companion volumes I was introduced to many women I had never heard of. These small stories encouraged me to find out more about these women and what they have done to change the world.

I said it before and will repeat still: I love this series! I have all of these in polish (and looking forward to the next translations) and I truly appreciate the idea to read about such a wonderful woman.

The word has no mercy for a teenager and little girl. They see the perfect faces, perfect lifestyles on social media and grow up with the expectation to be the most beautiful, extraordinary, one and only. The pressure is huge. And then the Rebel Girls appears...

The set of 100 women. Different, but every single one is so inspiring. Hard-working, especially in this book, when the immigrants are taking into account. New country, new culture, new language, and place - even though these women became a living legend.

I appreciate the variety which is characteristic of these publications. There are actors, singers, politicians, activists. From different countries, times, and interests. I know only a few like Anna Wintour or Diane von Furstenberg for example, so I treated it as a lesson not only for my daughter but for me as well.

This is an interesting, informative book and the latest in this series, which is good for dipping in and out of for Middle Grade readers, no matter where you're from or your ethinicity or background, there is something for everyone. Starred 4 1/2 stars.

This series of books have been taking the UK by storm. Children have been lapping these non-fiction books up. This is the latest in this series. It takes a look at 100 immigrants across the world who have wide and varied occupations, such as chefs, psychoanalysts, sports people, fashion designer, artist, actress/songwriter, paralympian, journalists, politicians, writers, spies, scientists and many more... who have acheived greatness in some form or another. It's a biographical book, that presents itself in some ways as a bedtime story would, with "Once Upon a Time" in its narrative, before presenting itself in the normal nonfiction way with its facts, which are not too dense, making this a good read for children and they can enjoy dipping in and out of at leisure.

It is well organised with the person's name and date of birth and death, what they've achieved, sometimes how or what event in their lives inspired them to do something that no one had invented or to bring something new to a particular industry, a bit about what went on in their lives aside from this and where they immigrated to. Some names may be more familar than others, such as Anna Wintour - Editor of Vogue for example, being pretty well known around the world for fashion. It also introduces children to people who are immigrants, who they might not be aware are an immigrant to a particular country.

Perhaps less well-known to children may be Chinwe Esimai - Financial Executive, but she also has something important and positive to say too. Whether you've heard the names or not, this book is positive in their own experiences to pass onto younger generations. It is perhaps even better that there is a whole variety of people from across the world and occupations mentioned. They're all high-flyers who, in their own unique ways, can be seen as positive role models. What it doesn't show however, and this series doesn't particularly, is how people don't always make it to the top of their career or become famous for something, but can still be a role model and still do well in life. Going back to the positive, it does however, demonstrate that people do have opportunities no matter where you're from or your ethinicity or background. you may well come up with an amazing original idea or be someone who either lots of people or a few people look up to and be an inspiration to someone, no matter who you are or what your background is.

For many children, this book will provide inspiration and show that they can aim for something positive in their lives and that not everything has to be seen as a barrier. It shines with postivity instead of being full of negativity. It's a book that feels informative, enlightening book.

It will provide children with aspiration and inspiration and shows a positive light. It shows that change can sometimes happen and has been for centuries. The people in this book are from the present and past times, each one with a few short paragraphs with a quirky illustration of them and quote.
