My daughter loved this book. She has the other Rebel Girls books and since some of the stories seemed familiar to her she was getting out the other books and checking to see if some of the stories were shared between them. She read this whole book in one sitting and is excited for more to come out.

I received a copy of this book from NetGalley in exchange for my honest review. Thank you NetGalley!

The cover of this book is simple but eye-catching..
This book was fantastic. Seriously.
My kids and I loved it.

I'd definitely purchase a copy and check out other books by the author.

Another lovely read. This one didn't take me long as I flew through it, loving the stories it gives to inspire all children, but especially highlight the stories, background and achievements of immigrant women, some well known, some almost unheard of by many.

I would adapt this for my younger students, as well as recommend. I am trying to introduce more diversity into my classroom and these short stories are ideal for doing just that.

Love the depth of choices. Digestible narratives. Will be using in my after school program for sure.

Another great book in this series. Would make a great baby shower gift or child birthday gift. Stories are just the right length for bedtime too!

A book that tells stories of IMMIGRANT women? Oh, my God. So good. I really need to say more than this? The stories are about WOMEN WHO CHANGED THE WORLD. That's enough for me. And these stories are good to tell to little girls, especially if they're children who are immigrant themselves or children of immigrant parents. But if there are not children on your life, I still reccomend to you guys to read this wonderful book.

The rebel girls books are such popular choices on the classroom book shelf. Readers adore the ability to dip in and to learn about someone and to be inspired. These stories are no exception. Children will enjoy finding heroes from their cultures and countries and no doubt, will enjoy the achievements of these remarkable women.

We love Rebel Girls books in our house so this was a no brainer. My daughters and I enjoy reading a new stripey each evening and talking about that girl or woman. We enjoyed this new iteration and can't wait for more!

I really enjoyed learning about the women featured in this book. As USAmerican, I especially appreciated learning about women who emigrated to countries outside of the US. These stories speak of courage, strength, perserverance, advocacy, and tenacity in the face of oppression and patriarchal norms. The range and diversity of the ethnic backgrounds and professions is refreshing and inspiring. I am looking forward to reading this book to my daughter when she's older.

This book introduces young readers to 100 women who were born in one country before immigrating to another. These stories include scientists, business owners, athletes (lots of athletes), and other leaders, some recognizable names and some less so. I am not the target demographic but I can see how this would be a good introduction to the idea of women who have changed their own world, and in the process, may have changed the world in different ways. I was left wanting more of many stories and not sure that others were that interesting. I would recommend for those wanting to see how we can each change our lives and those of others.

My digital review copy was not formatted well, so I did not get the images or artwork, which may have made it more enjoyable.

The title of this book is pretty self-explanatory: 100 stories about 100 awesome immigrant women. I love that each portrait of the women was done by a different woman-identifying artist (100 portraits and 70 artists). These stories are important ones, but having one page of text for a person’s life story is never enough. The intention is to spark interest in young readers and hopefully they’d read up more about these immigrant women. There were times where the story progression didn’t feel smooth enough, but I guess that is the downside of the very limited length.

While I appreciate all these stories, I did have a little issue with diversity. I can see that the author tried very hard to include as many countries of origin and destination as possible, but 63 out of the 100 stories were immigrant women who ended up moving to the US. Also, as happy as I am to see the mention of one lesbian (yes, the word “lesbian” is used, too), having only 1% being LGBTQ+ is not very reflective of the world population and I wish there were more (or pointed out if there are others in these 100 entries).

This collection is very informative, and many of the stories are incredibly wholesome. I think it works as a good introductory book for young children.

Another fabulous book in the Good Night Rebel series and definitely one to add to the collection. Jam packed with inspirational stories from the well-known popstar Rhianna to politicians such as Ilhan Omar. The stories are a powerful reminder that no matter who you are, where you're from or what your background is, everyone has the potential to change the world for the better.

I loved Good Night Stories for Rebel Girls. This anthology has a story in it for every person who has either has a similar loved experience, or is looking for stories of strength, perseverance, and determination. Anthologies are great for emerging readers, too, because the short chunks while reading an entire narrative arc gives a reader a sense of accomplishment. I will definitely add this anthology to my classroom.

Much like its predecessors, this book was a marvelous and inspiring read. One does not often come across such extraordinary stories and when this does happen, it is always wise to cherish and learn from them. This book was one such read for me.

The way these stories have been curated is praiseworthy, and the short and intriguing manner in which they've been portrayed is commendable. It is suffice to say that I never wanted the book to end and when it did, it left a feeling of longing and motivation in my heart to be one such woman in my life and to make a difference. This book is a must-read for kids who're at an impressionable age as it gives off the right ideas and probably would prove instrumental in shaping one's life.

I would recommend this one 10/10!

A wonderfully illustrated collection of mini-biographies about inspiring immigrant women who followed their dreams and changed the world. Like the other Rebel Girls books before it, it's fantastic.

This book is a part of the Rebel Girls series and it’s the first one I’ve read. I now cannot wait to read the other ones! It was amazing to learn about all these amazing women and discover their journeys. This is such an excellent idea to teach young people about important concepts, and it works for all ages. Cannot recommend this book enough!

So wonderful to hear the stories of these amazing women, who come from a variety of different backgrounds and see how they experience the world. A wonderful book for girls to remind them that they can change the world.

4.5 stars.

I've read the previous Good Night Stories for Rebel Girls books and I jumped at the chance to read this new entry with a focus on immigrant women. I loved the variety of experiences featured in this, with women moving for education, work, health, safety, opportunities, and more. Although it did feature a lot of immigrants in the USA, it also featured a variety of other countries as destinations, and it had a huge variety of home countries for the women featured. The stories were engaging and informative and definitely got me interested in histories I hadn't read before.

I docked a half star for use of the phrase "people with differing abilities" which, as a disabled woman, I find incredibly cringey. Please just call us disabled, it isn't a bad word.

Overall, I would recommend it, and I loved reading it as much as I did the previous entries.
