This review is not going to be long. I am not a huge fan of a review rehashing the entire plot and spoiling it for everyone.

I read 3 of Evelyn Montgomery books back to back. They are connected. (Reckless, Rebellion, & Deliverance) This is a great second chance romance. There is plenty of intrigue, and romance. I enjoyed reading this book.

I received an ARC of this book to read through NetGalley in exchange for a fair review. I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

I enjoyed this story and loved the author’s style of writing. I had never read anything by her before two I am looking forward to picking up another book from her. I absolutely love a good military romance story and this one gave me all the feels!! Highly recommend!

This is my second book from this author. I have the same opinion as the first book.
The story line is great, it has all the angst and troubles that I would like in a book.
However, I hope that this is a first draft because there are so many grammatical errors and it just really needs a good edit.
While the story was there and it was wonderful, there was so much extra junk not needed in the book that I hope a good edit would help to go through so that we can just read the story and not all the unnecessary words.

Heʼs patient, kind, sweet and tender... with just enough swagger to make me absolutely weak in the knees. Absolutely nothing like my ex husband, and a role model Iʼd love my little girl Anna May to have for a father. But there is only one problem, he wonʼt fall in love. Not then, not now and not ever. I tell myself to forget him. I tell myself this chemistry I feel is totally one sided all these years weʼve danced around it. But then he shows back up out of the blue, sweeps me off my feet, steals mine and Anna Mayʼs heart without asking and still wonʼt promise to stay. Soon, he has me questioning if the demons I ran from in my past arenʼt safer than the future he canʼt, and wonʼt, promise me. And hell knows my past is a place I never dreamed Iʼd end up in again.
This was a pretty good book. The story was well paced. The main characters were really exciting to follow on their journey. I hadn’t read this author before so I wasn’t sure what to expect. I was not disappointed!

Jolene has made some choices in her life that she regrets but her daughter was never one of them. Troy has regrets too. He is a SEAL who has seen many horrible things. Including losing someone very close to him. They met years ago and because of his deployments he left her every time and made sure she wouldn’t be waiting. Is the third time the charm?

Her life is in danger and what better than having a SEAL protect her and her daughter? But who will protect her heart ?

It was good and I enjoyed it a lot.

**I received a copy of Deliverance from Xpresso Book Tours and Net Galley in exchange for a voluntary and honest review. My opinions expressed below are mine alone and not solicited in any way.**

Deliverance by Evelyn Montgomery is the first book I have read by the author so I have to say that I was truly surprised by how good it was. I do wish that Troy would've made a commitment to Jolene and Anna May but all in all I'd give the book a solid 4.6 Stars.

Jolene has known Troy for years and he's found her at a bar in Nashville. But he's afraid of making a commitment because he's a Navy SEAL. When Troy ends up rescuing Jo from her ex-husband who has been paroled. So our hero comes to her rescue and she brings him home to meet Anna May her daughter. There will be their instant attraction that Jo and Troy will rekindle and Anna May will fall in love with him but with her ex-husband bent on revenge it will take everyone to save Jo from Brian in time? Will he be able to finally commit to his girls when Jo is injured badly?

Troy Young is home in Nashville on leave after a mission that went sideways badly. So seeing Jolene again is just what his wounded soul needs. He never expects to rescue her from her ex-husband who has somehow been granted parole but he does so gladly but knowing that his job could leave her a widow he's afraid to make a commitment. When it's clear that Anna May has fallen for Troy as well will he decide to finally ask Jolene to be his future? When she's kidnapped trying to save Anna May she's severely injured Troy and his friends won't hesitate to find her before it's too late. Will he
