I really wanted to love this book, and it sounded like it was going to be right up my alley. Unfortunately, it fell flat for me. There were a lot of issues with the hero and his thoughts/views that turned me off to the character. And then add in what felt like very dated references and an unbelievable chemistry between the leads and it was just harder to get through than the usual rom com. Sorry, this one just wasn't for me.

This was a great book and I really laughed out loud at a lot of the parts. I think this book was a breath of fresh air and a lot of different people can get a kick out of it.

Love how easy it is to read the book and how sweet the story is. Paige’s character development is good. My only complaint is the sexual buildup that fell into nothing. Other than that, this was fun to read!

Fun, exciting and everything I love about Ann Marie Walker! Sweet, full of heart and just like a good ol' Hallmark movie!

Happy Singles Day was a cute romcom that completely hit the spot! If you enjoy closed door romance reminiscent of a sweet Hallmark movie, this book is for you! Paige, Lucas and Maddie are characters that you can’t help but adore and the “castle on the beach” is the perfect place for a fall in love vacation. I give this book ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️!

This book wasn’t what I expected at all! I loved the character development and found myself relating to Paige so much! Especially as someone who loves to organize! The romance didn’t feel cheesy or rushed, like so many often do. I’d definitely recommend this one!

This was a gift from Sourcebooks Casablanca.
I plan to read in the future, but the synopsis sounds amazing and definitely up my alley!

3.5 stars!

I'm familiar with Ann Marie's writing style and love it. She writes amazing dialogues, tension between characters, and some hot sex scenes. This book only has two of the three things I've come to expect from her.

I really feel let down the door was closed on Paige and Lucas' love making. There was this great build up and then...nothing. Talk about blue balls and cold showers. Other than this, the book was pretty good.

This book was cute and light. I appreciate the fact that there was no real or dramatic conflict. It was nice to read happy people for once! The characters were sweet but Sophie (sister of our Hero, Lucas) was by far the most personable. I hope we get a sequel about her.

Fun, lighthearted rom-com that doesn't take itself too seriously. This is a great read for when you need to just have a smile on your face and get caught up in a feel-good mood.

Paige and Lucas are both fine being single, until they meet each other, that is. Boy do they butt heads, but that just makes the journey that much more fun. Add a meddling sister, and a cute-as-can be daughter (both for Lucas), and you've got a Hallmark-channel rom-com for sure.

Enjoyable, uncomplicated, and a fun, easy read.

This was adorable! It was full of banter, puppies, and hot single dads. I was just super disappointed that this was fade to black. I get not every romance is going to have sex, but after all of the tension between these two I was really let down when we went from an innocent kissing scene to the morning after.

I wanted to like this book, it’s the kind of romance that I usually enjoy reading. However, I just couldn’t get into the characters, and the romance felt forced to me. I finished it, barely. 1 star for the puppies!
3 stars total.

Thanks to the publisher and NetGalley I received a complimentary copy of this book. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own.

This is a romance that is way to cute and fun. I loved the characters in this book, and I loved getting to know all the characters including the dogs/puppies in this book. This book was a fun read and a great way to get lost in a book. I grow up in the outer banks of NC. I love books that is set in North Carolina, and this book did not let me down. I cannot say how much I really enjoy reading this book. If you are looking for a fun and cute romance then you should check this book out. The beginning is just the best, but the ending was everything. I was kindly provided an e-copy of this book by the publisher (Sourcebooks Casablanca) or author (Ann Marie Walker) via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review about how I feel about this book, and I want to send a big Thank you to them for that.

This was a cute read with enjoyable characters. The dialogue was good and the plot moved fairly quick. I really liked that the climax was different from other romantic comedy/women’s fiction romantic reads, this made the book much easier to finish because it wasn’t what I expected.

I received an advance copy. All thoughts are my own.

This romcom contained all the cute romcom plot material- puppies, rainstorms, and siblings and friends who get involved in other people's relationships. This book was predictable (though what romcoms aren't?) and thoroughly enjoyable. I enjoyed the book though I'm not a fan of a forced proximity plotline.

Crazy cute, sweet romance. It most def felt like the perfect Hallmark setting. I didn't question the characters falling in love in less than a week, but I was surprised of Lucas transition from grief stricken to ready to move on. I wanted that to be discussed a little more to watch him open up and realize what he wants. I loved the ending and im glad there was a follow up included. It helped make the ending not seem so rushed and left for interpretation.

Thank you to NetGalley and Sourcebooks Casablanca for the copy of this ARC in exchange for my honest review.

I'm sorry that this one was a DNF for me. There were some really sweet aspects in this book, unfortunately the hero's attitude and thoughts about women just didn't work for me.

I'm not usually a huge fan of clean romance, but this one was fantastic. The story stupid alone with the need for explicit bedroom scenes. I done remember the last time I cheered for a HEA

This was a feel good happy and cute romance between a woman who has given up on love and a single father who just wants to live again!

Paige Parker is an independent competitive woman who is sneakily made to take a vacation by her very meddling assistant - not because she wants it, but he definitely knows that she needs a vacation. Especially considering that she has given it all to her Professional Organisation Company after finding her fiancé cheating on her with her boss and friend.

Lucas Croft, on the other hand, sees only his adorable 4 year old daughter. He has only been taking it a day at a time since his beloved passed away suddenly, letting their dream of owning a cute and adorable Bed and Breakfast in a quaint little town fall into ruins.

When Lucas’s sister takes matter into her hands and books a guest, Paige, giving her brother a swift kick just where it is needed. But what neither of them, nor Paige expect is the sparks that fly when Paige and Lucas meet each other.

Happy Singles Day gives exactly that - it’s a cute, adorable and absolutely heartwarming romance with little to low drama, giving the readers a warm embrace of a happy read!
