Fallen actress River Lane, arrives in Moose Spring determined to film a wonderful documentary about the town we have all fallen for. However, it doesn't go quite to plan when the locals rejects her, and her crew from filming anywhere in town. The fiery starlet however has more tricks up her sleeves. Climbing is Easton's life, what makes his heart beat, but when he's hired by a film crew to take them up Mount Viel, dangers lurking at every turn and a beautiful headstrong woman as their leader, his task of remaining professional and getting them all back safely get tougher with each step forward, or upwards.
🌲
I really enjoyed Easton and River's lively banter, and their chemistry. These two were made for each other, from the first page we got to see them together. I loved Easton's calm, broody and strong demeanour. His loyalty to the people he loves was unbending, and that is what really anchored me into this book. I would have loved to see a little more of their relationship off the mountain, without the adrenaline and high stakes. My favourite scene was when he came to find her in the hospital and they cuddled gently squeezed in the tiny hospital bed together. I also really liked at the beginning when we got a glimpse of what it really feels like when his best friend fell in love and he's left on the outside.
🌲
I would like thank @netgalley , @sourcebookscasa and the wonderful writer behind this series @sarahmorgenthaler.author for the e-arc. As always all thoughts are honest and my own.

Enjoy the View is the third book in Sarah Morgenthaler’s Moose Springs, Alaska series. I immediately had a soft spot for Easton Lockett in The Tourist Attraction, so I was beyond thrilled that he was now a main character in Enjoy the View. Easton crosses paths with River Lane, former Hollywood starlet, who is determined to film a documentary about small-town Moose Springs. When she signs up her crew to climb Mount Veil with Easton as their guide, both River and Easton find out that they aren’t all that different.

✨What I loved — The way Easton and River met was both funny and cute. I found this book to be much less cheesy than the other two. I couldn’t help but picture the beautiful scenery of Mount Veil, and that added another layer of beauty to the book. Easton perfectly encompassed a masculine male climber — beard, man bun, and rough around the edges. It was unique to have a romance centered around climbing a mountain.

✨What I didn’t love — that the story had to end 😂

Enjoy the View was my favorite of the three. I have had so much fun reading these books back to back!

A grouchy mountaineer, a Hollywood starlet And miles of untamed wilderness...
What could possibly go wrong?
Former Hollywood darling River Lane's acting career is tanking fast. Determined to start fresh behind the camera, she agrees to film a documentary about the picturesque small town of Moose Springs, Alaska. The assignment should have been easy, but the quirky locals want nothing to do with River. Well, too bad: River's going to make this film and prove herself, no matter what it takes.
Or what (literal) mountain she has to climb.
Easton Lockett may be a gentle giant, but he knows a thing or two about survival. If he can keep everyone in line, he should be able to get River and her crew up and down Mount Veil in one piece. Turns out that's a big if. The wildlife's wilder than usual, the camera crew's determined to wander off a cliff, and the gorgeous actress is fearless. Falling for River only makes Easton's job tougher, but there's only so long he can hold out against her brilliant smile. When bad weather strikes, putting everyone at risk, it'll take all of Easton's skill to get them back home safely...and convince River she should stay in his arms for good.

This series just keep getting better.
This book was fun, sweet and so easy to read. I loved Easton’s character from the previous books and I was so glad to finally read his story.
If you like cute and funny romance stories this is the book for you.

Thank you NetGalley , Casablanca Books and Sarah Morgenthaler for giving me a copy of this ALC in exchange for an honest review.

This is book 3 in the Moose Springs Alaska series. In this story, we follow the hunky mountain climber, Easton Lockett, on a mountaineering adventure with actress turned documentary producer, River Lane. After much back and forth and maybe a little too much angst, River and Easton begin to fall in love. But several questions still remain. Will River and Easton make it back from their journey up Mount Veil and if they do, how can a man from Alaska and a woman from Hollywood ever make a relationship work? ⠀

This book was cute but didn’t take place too much in Moose Springs where I have fallen in love with the town and its cast of characters. The romance was also a little too angsty for me so I reduced this to a 4 star read opposed to the 5 stars I’ve given the previous books. ⠀

I really hope Morgenthaler has a few more of these stories up her sleeve. I’ve enjoyed these first 3 books so much! ⠀

Enjoy the View was an enjoyable book - a very enjoyable book.

River Lane was a Hollywood starlet, determined to sill make movies, she has agreed to make a documentary about the small town of Moose Springs, Alaska. Sounds like an easy light job, but the locals are not too welcoming too tourist (Don't let the bar/restaurant called "The Tourist Trap" fool you). Undetermined and will a strong will, River is determined to do what she set out to do - film a documentary.

A chance meeting with a mountain of a man, named Easton Lockett, leads her in the direction of a Mount Veil. Naturally, she along with Bree and Jessie (her staff helping her film her documentary) all had climbing experience. So up the mountain they went - when I say mountain, I mean Mount Veil and not Easton, who as I previously described as a mountain of a man.

This was such a fun, romantic and sassy book. I loved how River and Easton were flirty, sarcastic, and witty together. What could be better? A ROM Com with climbing involved. This was the perfect book for me. I am fascinated with climbing. My dream was to hike Kilimanjaro until a knee injury put that dream on hold, and if I am being honest, I have fantasized about Mount Everest. It will remain a dream and an interest. But I am happy to read about it and this book does not disappoint.

This is book three in the Moose Springs series, Alaska series, but it worked very well as a stand-alone for me. Plus, it has ignited my interest and I plan on reading the first two books in the series. And I know I will be on the lookout for the next book. Speaking of the next book, I have my fingers crossed that Ash is front and center in the next.

The characters are fun, interesting, and instantly grew on me. I love that nothing was rushed in this book and everything fell into place at just the right time. It was riveting, endearing, funny, sexy and right up my alley. Plus, its perfect reading for this time of year.

I received a copy of this book from Sourcebooks Casablanca and NetGalley in exchange for an honest review. All the thoughts and opinions are my own.

I’ll just say right now, this book was SO SATISFYING to read. To be honest, I didn't enjoy the second book as much as I'd hoped. So, I started this one with caution, but I was not disappointed. I think this is my favorite book in the series so far. Easton has been my favorite character hovering just off the page since The Tourist Attraction and this book did him all the justice. Easton in all his lumberjack glory falling in love with a Hollywood starlet on the side of a mountain with impending danger constantly looming, it's just exactly what you would hope for.

Enjoy The View had it all. There was plenty of drama - a film crew making a dangerous hike up a mountain. There was good banter - always a staple for a successful romcom. The main conflict actually made sense. All very refreshing. There was another adorable animal cameo from an emotionally unstable marmot. It was just super sweet, funny, angsty. All the pieces of the puzzle were there. It was cheesy, but it was also entertaining. It made me look up Airbnb’s in Alaska. I’m not sure if there will be more stories in Moose Springs, but at this point I would read them. Enjoy The View will be available on January 19, 2021, and to my surprise, I actually highly recommend it!

Advanced copy received through NetGalley/Publisher for my honest review.

Once I started reading the Moose Springs series earlier this month, I could not stop. I raced through The Tourist Attraction and Mistletoe and Mr. Right and was thrilled to receive an early copy of Enjoy the View so I didn't have to delay my visit to Moose Springs any longer. These books have confirmed my dreams of traveling to Alaska, and I'm entirely too curious about what's in a Growly Bear drink!

I loved the characters in each of the books. The women are all strong and independent, but also not afraid of letting the right man into their lives. The men are caring, protective and crush-worthy. The romance isn't overly steamy, but there's enough to make it a solid romance read-and there's no weird words for private parts that always make me cringe!

This third book was my favorite in the series; I enjoyed the mountain climbing plot and getting to know Easton a bit more. There's a romance aspect to the book, but it's not so consuming that the plot and adventure suffers. I also loved and laughed at the marmot scenes! I think my favorite part of these books are the people and the love for their town and helping each other out. We all need a reminder that humanity is good and these were the perfect winter comfort read and couch-vacation.

This book was so lovely. It focused on Easton, a pro climber who is asked by a film crew to support them to summit Mount Veil - a big and dangerous mountain that is near to moose springs.
I loved reading about Easton in the previous book and loved the focus on him in this one. He is a big softy and I truly fell for him. He was adorable and endearing, and his relationship with River was pure fire. Their slow burn romance and the passion between them was wonderful. The story kept me captivated and I enjoyed it a lot. The ending was perfect and I definitely recommend this series!!

Thank you to Netgalley and Sourcebooks Casablanca for this e-arc in exchange for an honest review.

NetGalley ARC | I just love the Moose Springs series, especially as a book blogger that focuses on diverse books to inspire travel.

Head to Alaska in the third installment of tourists vs locals -- and this time, it's Easton's story.

You don't have to read the first two to pick up Enjoy the View, but they each offer someone else's sweet and happy love story. Not really a spoiler, but this series is a warm and cozy HAPPY place -- and I am 100% committed to it.

Unlike the other two novels, head out on a mountain climbing adventure where an actress gets to know herself and fall in love.

I *think* Enjoy the VIew is officially my favorite in the series. I hope we see the other characters get their stories in Round 4 and 5... I'm not ready for the warm fuzzies to end.

Just when I thought she couldn’t top Lana and Rick, Ma. Morgenthaler kicked it up with Easton and River!!

Meet Easton, a giant, man-bun weilding mountain man and River a gorgeous, red-headed, slightly crazy actress. Shooting a tourism documentary for Moose Springs, Alaska shouldn’t be this eventful. But in Moose Springs nothing ever is at is seems.

The cast of characters in this series are over the top and I love each of them more and more with every book. Especially the animals! A freaking love struck marmot! Brilliant!! I pray the next book is about Ash!!!

Thank you netgalley for this arc, which was exchanged for my honest feedback. Ok well Graham has been relieved of his place of my favourite in this series and replaced by the big bearded mountaineer, Easton. Oh man is he just everything. River was so great! Strong and sassy and doesn’t let anyone push her or her people around. Their story was riveting. Some parts had me gasping and I had to read on! The chemistry between these too is wow. There were really any steamy scenes, but that did not diminish what you could feel between Easton and River. I absolutely LOVED this book. I am definitely hoping there’s more books to come!

“Tell us why someone would come to Moose Springs.
Because it’s where I found you.”

This is the first book I read in this series by Sarah and I was pleasantly surprised at how wonderfully pieced together the story is with the picturesque setting of Moose Springs in the background. I am a huge fan of mountaineering and I enjoyed reading the experiences that Easton and the crew have on their adventure summiting Mount Veil. The chemistry between the lead pair screamed adorable and there were so many laugh out loud moments that made the read a breezy and lighthearted one. Despite coming from completely different walks of life, River fits into Easton’s world with ease. The respect, admiration and love that the two build for each other is irresistible alongside the understanding that a foundation for a good relationship is compromise and trust. Though River faces challenges, her determination and willpower won me over and watching that break Easton’s broody spirit was an absolute delight. I would highly recommend this book as it was one that left me with a sense of warmth and joy having enjoyed a scrumptious romance on the peaks of Mount Veil.

I read the first book in Morgenthaler Moose Springs, Alaska series and moderately enjoyed the cute rom-com. I missed the second book in the series, but reading this book was an absolute pleasure. It too is probably classified as a rom-com, but it is so much more. Yes, of course, there are male and female leads who trade witty quips and have a “one for the grandchildren” meet-cute. The main characters, Hollywood actress and budding filmmaker River Lane and mountaineer guide, Easton Lockett are strong-willed people but don’t try to force their will on each other. In fact, they are overly concerned with how a relationship between two, different people as themselves, would do to the other. Easton is a burly, giant of a man with a gentle soul, and River is a tough as nails woman who can take care of herself and is desperately seeking something but doesn’t know what.

During a mountain climb to shoot a documentary, River’s team encounters beauty, hardship, and danger with Easton as their guide. So much occurred during this trip; you have to read it for yourself. The ending was so satisfying I wanted to cry. The only thing I have a complaint about is the Marmot. Yes, the Marmot. I can still see him trudging down the mountain, feelings hurt, with his little suitcase. I had so hoped he would become a family member.

Enjoy the View is a laugh out loud, yet deeply moving story of growth, love, acceptance, and compromising for love story. Many thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for the chance to read this book for my honest review. I gave this book four fabulous stars! #netgalley #EnjoytheView

I was so excited to know that this was Easton's love story. I think Easton found the perfect woman for him in River. She is headstrong, determined, funny and outspoken. Quite the opposite of Easton who is quiet, laid back, and serious. Both Easton and River are loyal and go after what they want as well. I enjoyed their love story though it was very slow burn, but you could definitely feel the attraction between them throughout the story.

I wanted to shake River so much though. I understood her determination, but putting people at risk was a hard no for me. But, she learned her lesson in the end.

I loved that Easton and River found each other and share the love of climbing. I think they are perfect for each other and compliment each other very well.

I’m giving this one 4 stars!

Such a great romantic read. I have needed something light-hearted during December, and this was it!

I liked the characters, as well as the storyline. I can see myself reading more from this author.

There were funny parts to this one that just made it enjoyable.

I always love a small-town setting. Also, Alaska is high on my list of places I’d love to see.

I loved this book. River and Easton's relationship was great from the start. They had undeniable chemistry and I love how much they bantered back and forth. And it's so nice to see the characters from the other books return in this book. Moose Springs will grow on the reader regardless of if their an outdoor person. They made me want to get outdoors and take a hike.

I wanted to love this story. I love the premise and setting. I loved the characters. However, I was disappointed in the development of their relationship. It was shallow and unconvincing. It was also much longer than was comfortable to read. It was OK, but not one I would recommend unless you're a die-hard fan of contemporary romance or looking for a book about mountain climbing or making documentaries.

Once again, Moose Springs has captured my heart! When Enjoy the View landed on my Kindle, I started reading it almost immediately. We first met Easton Lockett in the first book in this series, The Tourist Attraction, and he stood out to me in that one when he rescued Zoey. I was hoping that he would get his own story, so I was so excited after reading The Tourist Attraction and Mistletoe and Mr. Right to read Enjoy the View. River is an actress turned aspiring filmmaker who is giving up her spotlight in front of the camera to work the behind the scenes magic. She wants to film a documentary on Moose Springs, but if you have read the other two books in the series, you know that the people of Moose Springs don't take too kindly to outsiders or tourists/people who encroach on their beloved town. Easton can't help but be drawn to River, and a big part of this story focuses on him helping her and her crew summit The Veil, a high mountain in Alaska; think the Mt. Everest of Alaska. As they prepare to summit and eventually do, everything they know and love will be tested as it is them against the harsh elements of nature. I love this story and I absolutely love these characters. I loved that we got to catch up with Graham and Zoey and Rick and Lana and the rest of their crew. Easton had never seen River's movies, but over the course of the book, he gets to know the real her- the tomboy from Wyoming with a heart of gold. Easton was the perfect male character with his intense beard and man bun, and although he and River could not be any more different, you get the sense early on that they are going to be perfect for each other. Sarah Morgenthaler writes characters that are funny and endearing, and so likeable that you often forget they are not real as you are reading. I've said it before and I'll say it again, this is one of those books that makes you wish these people and place was real because you would go visit them in a heartbeat if they were. I'll never turn down the chance to see what these characters are up to, and I am already anticipating the next book in the series. Part of my heart will always belong to Moose Springs! Thank you to the publisher and author for the chance to read an early digital copy of this book. I will post my review a litter close to its pub date on my IG page @readingmama_reviews.

✨Book Review✨
Enjoy the View is the third installment of Sarah Morgenthaler's Moose Springs, Alaska series, and it further confirms that cozy romance novels set in Alaska really are the best!
🖤
I love the little town of Moose Springs and all its quirky inhabitants, especially Sexy Hagrid 😉. As cute as he may seem, the marmot is a very close second.
❤️
If you haven't read the first two, no worries! Each novel is a standalone. I have not read the others, but after this one, I definitely want to. Characters from the first two make appearances and I already know I'm going to love their stories too.
💚
I've been on a real Holiday Romance kick lately, and this has been yet another winner! Thanks so much for this Advanced Reader Copy in exchange for an honest review. I highly recommend you add this to your TBR!
