Big thanks to Sourcebooks Casablanca and NetGalley for my free eARC in exchange for an honest review.

Out of the three Moose Springs, Alaska books, Enjoy the View is by far my favorite. The few glimpses we have of Easton in the previous two books helped the reader to have a basic outline of his character. In this book we go more in-depth as we see him in his element—mountain climbing. Easton may be intimidating in appearance, but inside he’s a real softy. He’s caring and loyal, and once he loves someone he will always go back for them. River isn’t your average actress. While this premise may be basic, River herself is unique in the background and passions she holds near. Tough on the inside and out, she will not stop until she accomplishes what she set her mind to do.

One reason I loved this book best was the amount of detail the author went into. Easton is hired by River to take her and the crew up Veil Mountain, or the Old Man as he lovingly calls it. The climb is treacherous and not for the faint of heart, but River is determined. It’s obvious that the author did her research well, because I felt like I could picture exactly what the characters were doing and the different climates they experienced. The small group ends up having many mishaps, and along the way Easton and River start to fall for each other. The banter is excellent, the view is to die for (literally?!), and the plot kept me anxiously/expectantly moving forward. I’m excited for this book to be published and for others to fall in love with it just as much as I did.

Another great addition to Sarah Moregnthaler's Moose Springs series. A fun romance mostly set on an Alaskan mountain. The only drawback is you don't get to visit much with some the characters from the first two books, but the banter between River and Easton make up for that.

When Easton stops on the side of the road to pick up what he thinks is a hitchhiker, he doesn't expect it to be a famous actress, instead. And definitely not his next client that he's supposed to take up Mount Veil. But Easton leads River and her film crew up the mountain in their quest to capture documentary footage after no one in Moose Springs will let them film in town. Along the way, Easton and River form unimaginable bonds and perhaps start something romantic between them.

This book felt very different from the previous two in the series, mostly because 75% of of it takes place on a mountain. For the 25% in town, we get glimpses of the Moose Springs quirk (The Tourist Attraction, the pool hall, the lack of town hall...) but on the mountain we lose much have that quirkiness. The only source of humor is the incredible banter between our main characters and a lovable marmot that may replace Ulysses the moose (from the first book) as my favorite fictional animal. I don't have a problem with this, I just think it's important to note that this book is decidedly different. It's more serious with more life-threatening peril. While each of the previous two books featured a life-risking encounter with the Alaskan wilderness, that was at the forefront and a large amount of plot for this book. It was extremely emotional and felt deeper than its predecessors. I think for people who love The Tourist Attraction for it's quirk and humor, they might be a little surprised with this one, but as long as you go in eyes wide open, it's a fantastic read!

5 stars - 9/10

My favorite in this series! The banter between a Easton and River was the absolute best. I loved how they knew how the other felt without having to make huge declarations right away. Sarah Morgenthaler definitely made me want to jump on the next flight to Alaska.

Where have I been that I’ve never read anything by this author? This was such a good book. The characters were so well written, they kept of the page. River is hysterical, and Easton is adorable. The two just bounce of each other. There are elements of danger, which stops this book from being a dry romantic comedy. Honestly I need to read more from this author.

Thanks to Sourcebooks Casablanca and Netgalley for an advanced copy of Enjoy the View.

I LOVE Moose Springs and was so excited to get an advanced copy of Enjoy the View only a few days after Mistletoe and Mr. Right was published. This is Easton's story!!!

Easton is the sexy brooding mountaineer of Moose Springs and when a hollywood starlet is trying to turn her career around by getting behind the camera she finds herself tackling the local mountain Mount Veil to film a documentary when she can't get the permits for her tourism commercial.

I love backpacking and reading books about mountaineering so this was right up my alley. I loved seeing more of our favorites from Moose Springs and the funny ways the town was trying to ignore River.

The marmot had me laughing so hard and while I know it's unlikely to happen I loved it!

This is another home run in the Moose Springs series and I just want to move there!!

This is the perfect winter romance. there is action, reality, love, and drama. If you are a fan of "The Simple Wild" series then you will love this one. I really appreciated this and loved the writing.

This one is a bit tough to rate with me being torn, so my actual rating is 3.5 stars, but I am bumping it up to a four star rating above because it deserves the recognition.

Enjoy the View is a fun, kind of quirky romance between a "mountain man" and a Hollywood movie star who has hit 30 and can no longer find the work she wants. So River Lane (the actress) decides to change roles and become a producer. Easier said than done when you are a woman trying to get into a male dominated field. But River is a Wyoming cowgirl at heart and nothing and no one is going to stand in her way, including the residence of the town of Moose Springs.

Easton has the misfortune of picking River up off the side of the road after she gives up trying to get a shot for her film. Only a billion people stopped to ask her if she needs help. Poor Easton is the unlucky soul who catches her at quits. A giant hairy example of a man, Easton secretly has a heart of gold under his stern looking exterior (it's the beard and the muscle). A squishy, soft heart of gold. So when River asks him for help, he helps...and regrets it. Then helps again and regrets it until he and River start spending more time together (That was an Easton being helpful accident too).

This book rapidly goes from River verbally snipering everyone who stands in her way (which I thoroughly enjoyed), to River and Easton feeling the unexplained chemistry (which I didn't enjoy quite as much), to the two of them getting moony-eyed at each other while they climbed a mountain (I enjoyed the actual descriptions of the climbing). Don't get me wrong, I did love Easton and River as people. I just thought the romance was almost a borderline insta-romance. But the redeeming part was it burned more like a slow romance despite the WHAM beginning. It's hard to make out in 15 layers of clothing, as River puts it. lol

The one thing I didn't understand was the marmot. The marmot thing threw me off big time. It's just so not plausible that it distracted me to the point it actually kind of took away from the story for me. I mean, it could happen, but I've never heard of such a thing and I would need to see proof to believe it. That's a me thing though. Other people may love the marmot, despite it's behavior going against everything I know about marmots.

Conclusion

All in all this was a cute, quite clean, fluffy romance (like Easton's towels). It's in a refreshing location. After all, how many romances have you read that take place on the side of a mountain they're climbing?

I would definitely recommend this book to people.

I was so excited when I was approved for the title! I've been waiting for Easton since we met him in The Tourist Attraction. He didn't disappoint. He did seem a bit off character to me, seemingly way more talkative than the first in the first two books, but this was still a great read.

I love this series. I wasn't completely sold on it at first, but I have fallen in love with Moose Springs, Alaska. I am so in love with the locals and am thrilled with Easton's book.

River and Easton in Enjoy the View
This last Moose Springs, Alaska book is a hair raising but romantic tale. It is fun to return to so many of the quirky characters from previous books though I feel this could be a standalone read as well. Easton is a mountaineering guide and River is making a documentary of Moose Springs, including Mount Veil. When Easton agrees to guide River and her two documentarian friends up Mount Veil the action gets more harrowing as their love grows deeper. There’s also a marmot. All good love stories deserve a marmot! This is a well written book with more quirky, engaging and well rounded characters and an exciting and romantic plot. I would recommend this book to my patrons.

Enjoy the view is the third book in Sarah morgenthaler’s series. They honestly just keep getting better! I think these two characters have been my favorite so far and also this storyline is incredible! Easton has been such a great character in the previous books, just trying to blend into the background and to finally get a piece of his brain was great. River was a great female character and I loved her determination and will. She was so focused on her goal and she achieved it. I loved how most of the story was on the mountain. I felt like I was climbing along side them (I also loved the marmot, so cute!) I loved how big of an aspect tourism plays in these books. Tourism is my jam and I love being able to read stories about tourism and the potentials it can bring. I did wish that this had an epilogue. I think an epilogue would’ve finished this book perfect! It didn’t need one but I am a huge fan of seeing what happens years from the last page!

Thank you to NetGalley and sourcebooks Casablanca for the earc in exchange for an honest review!

Oh my, did I love this Moose Springs offering so much more than the last. Easton and River climbed there way into my heart from the beginning and I could not stop reading until I knew they got reached the summit of their happily ever after.
River and Easton are so perfectly matched and it was nice to see most of the drama stemming from the mountain itself instead of the couple or the town. I am happy to see Morgenthaler continue her inclusion of quirky animal characters in this one. The marmot scenes were completely adorable compared to the absolute hilariousness of PsychoSquirrel Motel from book #2 - which was definitely the BEST scene from M & Mr. R. Thanks so much to Sourcebook & Netgalley for the ARC. I can't wait to get my book clubbers hooked into this one.

I read first and second, and I just got this one. And I am so happy about it. I love this series. It is just perfect. The guys are sweet hearts and the girls are all so strong.
I just loved this one. Maybe this is my favorite in the whole series.
River is just... Wow... She is beautiful, smart, strong and just the whole person.
And Easton, I think I am in love with him. He is just a perfect. With man bun, and all.
Love the slow burn romance. Truly enjoyed this book.
I am expecting Ash's and Jax's story... Maybe even them together. That would be nice.

This is a 4.5 star read. Love it.

Love this series of books!

Easton ends up being tour guide for River and her team, who are trying to make a film in the local area. The film shows them climbing the local mountain, but also them falling for each other. What will happen when it is time for River to leave town?

Can't wait for the next book!

OMG! This series keep growing on me! Each book gets better and it makes me think to leave everything behind and dragging myself and my husband dearest’ big -let’s politely say aces-to Alaska, climbing to the mountains, befriending locals, lying in front of fireplace, drinking bottles of Cognac!

The small town atmosphere, the cutest depicted various characters and a lot of smart, absurd, laugh out loud situations: what are you waiting for? Just start reading!

And of course from the beginning like a loyal fan I kept chanting for Easton and wished he could get his own book sooner! Thankfully my crossed fingers which are glued made their magic and we didn’t wait for too long.

I already loved Easton from the previous books and River Lane,a hot blooded, fiery, badass documentary maker/ actress/ director, redhead heroine who are stubborn enough to finish her project she’d started against town people’s will, pushing Easton’s button incessantly (thankfully she also tore up those buttons and gave us some sizzling steamy entertainment) was a great add to this sexy combination!

River is determined to climb to the Mount Veil in one peace against sarcastic and judgmental comments of locals. And Easton Lockett has a plan! He knows the mountains well and he knows how to survive when an unexpected crisis erupts out of nowhere. But the biggest crisis he has to face is his blossoming feelings for River and of course a woman who has tomboy soul and seducing charm at the same body could a volatile combination! Beware dear Easton!

Maybe because of being true fan of Easton for so long, this book grew on me more than the other ones. It was a great humorous, sarcastic, so much entertaining feel-good romance that I highly and truly recommend and giving my mountaineer, snowy, adventures, hot couple, well earned four stars!

So much thanks to NetGalley and Sourcebooks Casablanca for sharing this amazing digital reviewer copy with me in exchange my honest thoughts.

River Lane is in Moose Springs, Alaska to transition from actor to filmmaker by making a documentary for the Alaska travel bureau. Easy, Alaska is beautiful but the residents of Moose Springs do not like tourists and making it impossible and illegal to film in town. But River is determined to make her movie. A climbing trip up Mount Veil just might save the documentary. Add in bearded mountain man Easton as the guide and the climb got much more interesting. But the climb is treacherous and requires skill, and concentration. How much is River willing to risk for the documentary? And what about Easton? A story that will keep you turning pages as they try to conquer the mountain and figure out what is important.

We're back to Moose Springs! Enjoy the View introduces River Lane (determined to make a more serious name for herself actress) and Easton Lockett (gentle giant of Moose Springs). River and her crew are filming a documentary about Moose Springs, and she enlists the help of Easton.

This was a cute romance novel that plays into the grumpy vs happy characters that Sarah Morgenthaler seems to have a knack for.

Enjoy the View by Sarah Morgenthaler is the third novel in her Moose Springs series.
Morgenthaler takes readers back to the tiny town of Moose Springs, Alaska. The heroine and hero—River and Easton are the epitome of sunshine versus grumpy, opposites attract characters navigating a budding romance. River and Easton’s storyline is their own—but readers that love this series will see their favorite couples and characters from previous novels. Morgenthaler’s novels are wonderfully written with humor and heart. Readers will fall in love right along with the characters.
