This one was just okay. Not a favorite but kind of forgettable. I guess I could take it or leave it.

An incredibly poignant work that addresses so many social justice issues and personal struggles in one collection. The intentionality and immense effort put into these poems is immediately evident- Birdsong’s reverence for this material is overwhelming and beautiful. A must-read.
