A heartwarming story about the Prince and his mother. But the story focuses on how the prince keeps being fascinated with his mother's hair. Well, his mother's hair is magical--can be curly, straight, long. I enjoyed every detailed artwork, really emphasizing the storyline.

The author apparently writing the story of her son who is mesmerized by his mom's hair. But also taught us to love ourselves as we were made. We might not share the same skin color, therefore nor the same hair texture, eye colors, or build. Some always want what others have, forgetting that they are also special as they are.

What looks mundane to ourselves might be a comfort to others. This is what I learn from the book. What about you?

Prince and his mothers crown is a lovely story told in rhyming format about a boy and his loving mother and father and their family but focuses on princes fascination with his mothers hair.

Prince's mothers hair is amazing - it can be long, straight, curly, hold magical creatures such as dragons, and much more. Prince obviously has a strong bond with his mother and adores her. What makes this book even more special is the rich, detailed art work and not forgetting the fact this book was written by the author as a dedication for her son who sadly passed away a year ago.

A sweet story about the love and appreciation of a son for his mother. Lyrical and simple text with imaginative pictures. Perfect for a bedtime snuggle or nap. A great addition to public libraries.

I loved how the child was sharing how important his mom is to him. Many children love their parents but are not able to put it into words. This book would help them with that. The illustrations also add another dimension to the writing. This will definitely be a book I share with library customers.

What a special storybook about a boy who finds magic and strength and all kinds of lovely things in his mother’s crown. This made my heart grow three sizes and I loved reading it.
