The Billionaire's Girlfriend Bet
The Billionaire's Club: Book Three
In the series of 3 billionaires - the last of them Blake they are visiting the baseball club Blake now owns and he is knocked out by one of his friends and Michelle is the physical therapist who helps him and he takes a shine to her and the boys make a bet with Blake that he can’t last his five date limit.

The book is very slow compared to the other 2 in the series and I thought a bit lack lustre. A bit disappointing.

Thank you NetGalley, Relay Publishing and Leslie North for gifting me an advance copy of this book in exchange for my honest review.
I want to start by saying that at the time I’m writing this there are already 113 reviews and a 4.55 rating so it’s very safe to say I am in the minority here! I am also realizing I am just not a fan of the billionaire trope so salt meet opinion, opinion, salt.
I wasn’t even 8% into the book and I had already read that he owned a baseball team and a nightclub at least ten times. It was beyond overkill. I know the reader needs to understand he is very wealthy, but it just feels super immature and tacky to me when every billionaire cliche is written in the first 20 pages.
BUT, I am clearly the only one that thinks that because this book is very popular. So while I’m being honest about not liking it, I am also encouraging you to give this a try!

Billionaire playboy, businessman, workaholic, meets single mum and physical trainer. Pampered life meets normal life juggling mum.

Instant attraction muddies the waters on a terrible, five successive dates with the same woman bet, by his two billionaire friends, who also married their nearest and dearest on one of the trio's two life changing bets.

This instant family setup is finding something he didn't realise he was looking for and is longing to make a permanent fixture.

True love and commitment wins through in this romantic story of love and happiness with a happy ever after ending.

Guys. I'm sad about it. I loved the first book in this series. I really liked the second book in this series. And, now, this third book is a "no bueno" for me.

Blake's two friends make a bet that he can't take the same woman on 5 dates in a row. Michelle is a sports trainer at his facility for a MLB team he owns. She is the woman chosen for the bet. Pretty standard trope here. Absolutely nothing new or fresh.

Sadly, these two have a few conversations over those 5 dates, but manage to talk about ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. There is mild flirting. A few convos about spirt equipment and what Blake does for a living and...BAM!...they're in love. Nope. Not buying it.

As to the characters themselves, we get a scene in which Blake is embarrassed to be seen in Michelle's 10 year old car (when his gets a flat and she offers to drive) that made me think he was a real jacka**. Michelle is nice enough, but we never get a sense of who she is other than she mistrusts her own skills in choosing men and she's cheap.

This story is all on the surface so I just don't believe any of the deep feelings. I usually like Leslie North books, but this one left me disappointed.

I received an advanced copy of this book in exchange for my honest review.

The Billionaire’s Girlfriend Bet is about a bet made between Blake and his two friends. As a notorious playboy his friends bet him he can’t go on five dates with the same girl, and then pick one for him. Along the way Blake questions whether he’s been going about relationships (or his avoidance of them) all wrong when he starts having feelings for the target of his bet, Michelle.
I loved that Michelle was a strong single mom, she never questioned whether Blake would even be interested in her because she had a child. Most books I’ve read with a single parent, the child is hidden for fear that the other person would never get involved. The author brought the child into the story seamlessly.
I really enjoyed Blake and Michelle’s dynamic and her daughter Mollie earned the book some major cute points.
I’ll definitely be reading more from this author!

Last in this series about 3 friends who are all billionaires. Lucky them! Each male has had a romance written about them and in this final one we have the biggest playboy – who never spends more than 2 nights with any girlfriend – just in case they think he might get serious. Too wary of his money and influence? So his friends bet him that he can have 5 dates with the same girl just as he was meeting his baseball club’s physiotherapist for the first time. And she is chosen.
Again the story follows the trope with the slight addition of a child to make things difficult for them. A delightful girl who loves ponies. I thought that was a theme that could have been followed up as the billionaire tells her he has ponies. Instead the baseball theme is followed up and she starts learning softball.
This is competent but again not exciting. The characters don’t have a great deal of life on the page. They perform as expected but without a great deal of humour or snark.

I was sent this story form Netgalley.com for review. And I really enjoyed this story. I really, really loved how this story started with our Hero Blake throwing around a baseball with his friends at one of his athletic facilities. And while out there they start in on him about staying single, that is where the bet comes in and they offer him five dates and they would arrange to have his favorite D.j at his grand opening. And like most guys he takes it thinking no big deal, he could date a random woman and get what he wants. But while contemplating this deal he gets hit in the head with a baseball and this is where it gets interesting.

So this is meet cute would have to go on my list of favorite meet cute if I had a list. Why? Because as I said before Blake damn near gets knocked out from a baseball to the head, so his friends take him right to find one of the trainers to make sure he does not have a concussion and the first trainer that find just so happens to be just the woman he needs more than he knows. Michelle is our leading lady who gives him the challenge he never thought he needed. Michelle is a new trainer with Blake's baseball team and while she is cleaning up his head wound, she because the object of the bet and later on his love. I like and did not like was we got a small look inside of her past with her ex and father of her daughter, I wish we got a little more about said past. But what we got was enough to understand why she didn't jump right into their relationship when feelings started to grow to more than just a friendship, that they both thought was going on.

I loved that we got to see not only up and down of relationship and how it effects everyone around. Also enjoyed that there was not this huge grand gesture, to bring the couple back together, but a simple olive branch. And it is also the fun that it is the daughter who gives the push that is needed for forgiveness.

This one hits all the feels! This is Blake's story and it's perfect. When another infamous bet between best friends leads Blake to Michelle the sparks fly. The chemistry between the two is intense. Michelle is gun shy from a past relationship and Blake has always been determined to be a confirmed bachelor. Both have some personal growth to explore if they want a HEA. The road is bumpy, sweet, and sexy. The epilogue of this one is a beautiful wrap up to this trilogy which I think is Leslie North's best yet!

I overall enjoyed this book. However, it started off a little slow as compared to other books I enjoy. I kept reading and was overall surprised. Blake's playboy was are changed when he meets Michelle, who happens to work for Blake's company. It also doesn't help when his interest in Michelle is worsened when his friends make a bet with him about going out with her for five dates, due to his lack to get that far with most relationships. This was an enjoyable read that I'm happy I finished.

North gives readers a solid story with likable and relatable characters. This series is a quick, fun, summer read!

Third and last of this series. In this book, we have, of course a bet, that involves five dates with the same woman. Not my favorite of the three books, but entertaining and the turmoil begins. There is drama, angst, romance and the HEA. Add this to your light read TBR list

💋💋

Final book in the trilogy.
Blake is the only one left of the three friends who is single.
So Grayson and Daniel decide to bet him that he can’t date a woman five times in a row.

This is going to have consequences you can tell, Leslie’s characters are addictive reading, I’m constantly hooked on her books whenever a new one is released.

Well written and enjoyable reading, highly entertaining, with the three men who never seem to grow up and are a constant bewildering confusion for the women in their lives.

I received an Arc copy of this book and chose to post this review

I literally devored this book !!

I lvoe the guys and their stupid bets LOL, but I knew that at some point this bet would come back and hit Blake in the face.

Michelle's story broke my heart, she's such a sweetheart and a really good mother to her daughter, and seeing the 3 of them with Blake spending time together, melted my heart.
I was also very happy to know more about Blake, because I knew he had moneys, but I didn't really know what he was doing for a living or how he became rich and all.

That was also very nice to see Mila and Jackie interacting with Michelle, I really love the girls.

I really recommend this series, the characters and the stories are just awesome.

This was book 3 of the series. I was in love with all the guys and gals. I was so excited to read Blake’s story I had to stop reading another book and read this one first. Mollie is such a cute 5 year old. It seemed from the get go that she had Blake wrapped around her finger. I knew he would make a great dad. Michelle brought out the best in Blake and they made the best couple. So glad I had the chance to read this series!!!

Blake Harrison doesn’t believe in happily ever after u til a bet with his friends changes how he views relationships. This is a light fun read, perfect way to get away from what’s going on in our lives right now. Thank you to net galley for a copy of this book.

Michelle feels like she's won the lottery but leery of believing that it will last. It's great in the beginning then life starts getting in the way. Plus of course she finds out about the bet that started it all. Happy ending that I loved.
