I absolutely adored this one! I give this holiday romance ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐! Perfection!

Ashley has just suffered a romantic heartbreak so instead of Christmas in Paris she is returning to her hometown Owl Lake, NY. where she has not been in many years. This is a wonderful, whimsical and magical story of true love and Christmas memories that will melt your heart and make you yearn for “Fruitcake”. I admit it - I am in love with Hallmark movies, and I can watch them all year long. Winterfest. Spring Fling. Love Ever After. Summer Nights. June Weddings. Fall Harvest. And the best of all - COUNTDOWN TO CHRISTMAS! Are they predictable? Of course! Do you know what will happen by the end? Absolutely! But that is not why I love them.

Hallmark movies always have that special element to them, whether it be Christmas magic, spending time with your family you haven't seen in a while, beauty of places I have never been, or just the wacky hi-jinks that can only happen in the movies. There can be a small town you wish you could raise your children in. A new career you wish you had the courage to try. A dog. And best of all, the happy ever after.

I was so excited when I was approved to read an ARC of Christmas Charms by Hallmark Publishing in advance of the 10/06/2020 publication date. It did not disappoint!

There is something about Ashley and Aidan that is electric. I could feel their chemistry jumping off the pages of my book. I could feel every emotion Ashley was going through, whether it was the frustration of trying to get back to Manhattan to try and apply for a promotion, the love of being with her family or the confusion over what the charm bracelet was trying to tell her.

The Christmas scenes had me longing for Halloween and Thanksgiving to fly by (our traditions are for our immediate family, so not much will change outside of not seeing Santa this year). I could not turn the pages fast enough and when I got to the ending, I did not want it to be over. The epilogue had me getting a little bit teary and I gave the happy and contented sigh that can only come with the best happily ever after feeling.

This is such a charming Christmas romance about second chances. I hope this story is made into a Hallmark movie.

I really, really, really hope this becomes a Hallmark Christmas movie. This book has all of the magic that Hallmark Christmas movies bring and I vote yes! to bringing it to life! ❤️

I loved this story more than words can express. It is the perfect Christmas story to curl up next to the fireplace with a cup of hot cocoa (or coffee ☕️ in my case) and just enjoy the warmth the story brings.

There were so many tiny, important details that just added to the specialness of the story. I loved the characters and the small town of Owl Lake. I can only hope there will be a second book continuing with Ashley's story.

This is the first book I have ever read by Teri's, and in love with her work! She had me hooked in the very beginning! I loved this story even more because I have always been infatuated with charm bracelets. I love how you can personalize them to where you have been, highlight special moments in your life, and who beautiful they are! Then meeting Ashley and finding out she works in a jewelry store and in the charms department; I was in love!! Not only was she able to bring joy to her customers, but she was able to wear someone's famous necklaces which had me envious. Then it doesn't stop there. Ashley ends up back in her hometown with a mysteries charm bracelet she was given by a stranger. Now a storm has her stuck there and the charm bracelet is coming to live! What even makes it better there is Fruitcake (a dog), and a handsome firefighter!! Can we please have this one turned into a movie!!

This was a very sweet story. It started out with an expectation that ending in disappointment. Ashley ran into her old boyfriend right before her vacation. When she ended up going home for the holidays. Interesting and fanciful events keep happening throughout the book. It makes for an interesting and intriguing story. It was hard to put down and I enjoyed every word of it.

I always love Hallmark books and this is no different. Teri Williams delivers a heartwarming novel which will bring you joy this holiday season

Such a lovely sweet winter book.

Ashley is trapped working in a job she thought she loved, dating to a man she thought she loved. Living the life she thought she wanted.
When life doesn’t aspire to what her dream life is she goes home to her parents to the perfect place to spend Christmas.

Her old life catches up with her and she realises that it’s not that bad....in fact it’s perfect.

This was a lovely Christmassy festive romance book. It’s gentle and sweet and perfect to snuggle up with a gingerbread latte and throw a fair isle blanket over yourself and snuggle down.

This was such a wonderful Christmas story, I loved it from start to end. Imagine if we could get an antique charm bracelet with charms that represent all our wishes for a dream Christmas....and they all come true, one by one?! The words Christmas and Magical go together so well and in this story you will feel your heart fill with both.

Put together a small village with tons of Christmas traditions, a magical charm bracelet, a golden retriever named Fruitcake and add Ashley who had left her hometown for the big city and is now back for the holidays and Aidan, her high school sweetheart that she had left broken hearted and is now a firefighter, and you get this warm hearted and fun Christmas story.

A very enjoyable Christmas romance, with a slight magical element in the form of a charm bracelet.
Ashley left her home town of Owl Lake and is working at a highly prestigious jewellery store in the Charms Department. She loves her job but also loves making her own repurposed vintage jewellery in her spare time.

This year was supposed to be her best Christmas as she was off to Paris with her boyfriend and was hoping for a proposal. But after a disastrous dinner when it was clear they were on different pages in their lives, Ashley ends up back home for Christmas instead of Paris, and reconnects with an old boyfriend, Aidan.

But on the train trip home she meets and chats to an older lady who looks very much like Mrs Claus and has a wonderful charm bracelet on her and, after falling asleep during the journey, Ashley wakes up with the same charm bracelet on her wrist, and Mrs Claus is nowhere to be seen. Despite trying to get the charm bracelet off nothing works, and the charms keep forecasting things that are happening on her trip home, like the lovely dog with a big red bow she finds on her parents doorstep, and tie in with her younger self and what she wished for a perfect Christmas.

This was a lovely Christmassy, romantic read with snow, firemen, a Christmas parade and reconnecting with friends and an old love, with a magical element, very enjoyable.

Christmas Charms is more than just a perfect Christmas romance—it is the perfect romance period! Brimming with deep feelings, warmth, and sincerity, it features characters who are complex and endearing. And, there’s a bit of magic, which is always fun! Just like the charms that adorn Ashley’s bracelet, it is sparkling and bright! My heart was completely enthralled by the charm (pun intended!) of this delightful second chance romance!

What a "charming" Christmas read. I loved this storyline so much. The charm bracelet with such meaningful charms is so very special. I liked that the heroine Ashley James couldn't make the magic work by forcing events. It had to happen on its own. This second chance romance is such a sweet, heartwarming story. Ashley and Aiden are made for each other. There's a lot of Christmas spirit in this story. Just the way I like my Christmas romance stories to be.

Christmas Charms was a sweet holiday story filled with Christmas magic! I loved reading about Ashley's journey to find the perfect Christmas as she discovered what is really important in life. I highly recommend this book for fans of Christmas tales. It fit in perfectly with what we've come to expect from Hallmark during the holiday season.

A wonderful story with a touch of magic and love.

The main character, Ashley, Who returns to her hometown Owl Lake, New York, to spend Christmas with her family after what she was expecting to happen at Christmas didn’t exactly go to plan..

On her train journey, she meets a lovely woman name Betty, she’s wearing a gorgeous who is antique charm bracelet.

As Ashley reaches her town station, she finds that Betty has left her charm bracelet and tells her to wear it and have the Christmas of her dreams.

But, Is Betty right, and can this mysterious bracelet really help Ashley have the Christmas of her dreams?? Or is it just that, a charm bracelet??

I loved reading this book, with lovely characters, as well as a sense of family and community, not to mention the absolutely gorgeous winter setting.

As turning the pages, it kept me engaged and I found the plot, very well written.

This book is more than having a second chance at romance. It’s about finding yourself that you’ve lost along the journey of life and to follow your heart.

I highly recommend it.

I love a good Christmas story year round. From getting into the spirit of the season around the holidays or just a mental break from the heat if the summer, stories like this always puts me in a good place.

Christmas Charms by Teri Wilson is a delightful read, with wonderful characters, and a sense of family and community, and a gorgeous winter setting. The plot was engaging, well-paced, and kept me interested until the end. This book is so much more than a second chance romance - it's about finding yourself again and following your heart. I highly recommend it.

Christmas Charms isn't just a warm and cozy Christmas story. It's a story of coming home to find yourself, a second chance at love and the magic of Christmas.

Ashley is in Manhattan living her dreams! She's living and working with her best friend at one of the most popular jewelry stores doing what she loves-working in the charms department assisting costumers in picking out the most perfect charms. She is about to spend Christmas in Paris with Jeremy, her long term boyfriend, and his family. How much more perfect can it get? When Ashley hears through the grapevine that Jeremy has bought a ring she knows this will be the best Christmas yet.

SPOILER ALERT: The ring is not for Ashley.

Ashley decides to return home to Owl Lake for Christmas for the first time in along time. She hopes that a Christmas back in her hometown with her family will be exactly what she needs. Hopefully she won't run unto Aiden.

Did I mention Aiden? No? Well, Aiden is Ashley's high school sweetheart and now hunky Owl Lake Fireman. He might be part of the reason she hasn't returned. Things ended abruptly between them and things were left unresolved.

On the train ride home Ashley meets a Mrs. Claus-like woman named Betty who wears a unique vintage Christmas charm bracelet. Ashley wakes up at her stop and finds the bracelet left for her with a note telling her to wear it and have the best Christmas yet.

What I loved most about this story is the little touch of magic! A magical charm bracelet was such a wonderful addition to the second chance romance story line and Ashley finding herself and reconnecting with her family and friends.

If you are looking for a little something extra added to a Christmas romance, I recommend you giving Christmas Charms a try!

If you love Hallmark movies and you are already aching for the holiday tradition of watching them, Christmas Charms is definitely a great book to read to get yourself into the holiday spirit. I am going to have to read it again when it comes out in October, and maybe again in December. It was such a charming novel! It was full of Christmas magic and romance. I absolutely could see this story in my mind as a live action Hallmark movie so I hope they do turn it into one! I loved the small town charm and the rekindling first love story, and well anything involving firemen is up my alley! This was a sweet and pure romance great for people who love sweet love stories. I will definitely be re-reading it again soon!
