I enjoyed this cowboy story with all of the characters. The two main characters were Sara Kilne and Austin Flint. Also his daughter.

Sara Kilne is a speech pathologist and she go a job offer to become a nanny for a cowboy daughter. The cowboy child doesn't talk anymore and they think that she could help to get the child to talk again. By taking this job may be a different change in her life. Since she been having problems.


Austin Flint is a rancher. He inherited his grandfather ranch. He is trying to fix it up and also taking care of his daughter that he found out that he had. The mother of the child left and now he been taking care of her. The only thing that he is concerned about is that since her mother left she has not talked. So his sister talks into hire a friend of hers to help with his daughter.

This was a fun story to read. It had action and drama throughout. It had giggles within.

The ranchers tempting nanny by Mary Sue Jackson and Leslie North

A rancher renovating his ranch when his Ex wife abandons their daughter. From then she won’t speak so he is convinced to employ a specialist to spend the summer nannying to encourage his daughter to speak again. A few sparks fly between the two adults who have personal issues of their own which they must communicate before they can sort out Lea’s speech issue.

A reasonably easy read.

I’ve read a lot of books by this author but with this onei just didn’t connect with the characters at all. Which is a shame as I did like the blurb for this book. I would still recommend as other readers might connect with this story even thow I didn’t. As I do like this author and I hoping the next book I read will be one I do connect with. Sometimes a story just doesn’t connect with you but doesn’t mean it’s not a great story.

Austin, Lea, and Sara's story is a heartwarming read for all ages. Austin working full time on his ranch, finds raising a 2 year old daughter without help is next to impossible. Hiring speech therapist Sara to help his daughter is working out great, but falling in love with the therapist/nanny was not part of his plan. Their story has all the feels that readers expect from Mary Sue Jackson and this one does not disappoint. A sweet story story that is ageless, I was gifted "The Rancher's Tempting Nanny" and leave my review based on my reading. 4 Stars!

Leslie North consistently brings great characters and passionate romance to life. As a big fan of North's, her name provokes an automatic one-click from me. I am always entertained. Highly recommend.

Why won’t Lea talk? Her mom walked out on her and her dad (Austin) now has custody (and is happy to have her), but he just doesn’t understand why she won’t talk. Enter speech pathologist Sara, who has her own set of issues. Austin isn’t sure he can trust someone as beautiful as Sara, but Lea has no problems with that. The question, however, is can they work out there problems that seem to crop up? Will they have a HEA? Only way to find out is to read the story. I have read several of Leslie North’s book and have enjoyed each, some more than others, but that’s to be expected. I enjoyed this book and recommend it.

A fun, flirty fast paced read, i really enjoyed this, a great distraction from reality which is definitely what I want from books. Sarah and Austin were a great couple and I love single dads, just a great fun read overall

This was a fun little read for me. Sarah and Austin were very cute together. I’m a fan of the nanny troop so that made it even more enjoyable for me. Austin was just a guy trying to give his daughter the best life he could say or was that missing piece.

Speech pathologists Sara Kline gets hired as a nanny for a two year old girl named Lea who hasn't spoken since her mother abandoned her and left her with her father to raise alone. Her father Austin Flint a rancher isn't afraid of hard work but he realizes no matter how hard he works it won't fix his little girls problems he needs help. 

When he first lays eyes on Sara he thinks he has made a mistake she is so beautiful and also seems like a spoiled city girl. He doesn't want someone to tell him how to raise his daughter or a distraction. 

This job is perfect for Sara she has finally left her husband and her work at an elementary school. She is ready to make a new life for herself even if that means falling for Austin. 

Austin's father who isn't in his life shows up and puts a wedge between Austin and Sara because she doesn't trust Austin's father. 

With the tension between Sara and Austin she has to decide whether or not to take a new job or stay and give love a chance. 

I have read a few  books by this author and have enjoyed them all. Once I started reading it I didn't put it down until I finished it. Sara and Austin had to work through there doubts and fear in order to be together. Not only does Austin have to deal with his daughter not talking, he is also trying to get his ranch up and running and his long lost father shows up. Does his father have good intentions? I really enjoyed it. It was an enjoyable read. I highly reccomend it. I really wanted things to work out between Sara and Austin and Lea to all end up happy. 

Can Lea open her heart to Sara after her mother walked out on her? Can they move past all that and be together? You'll have to read to find out.

The Rancher's Tempting Nanny is an overall good read. A single father doing his best for his daughter and a speech pathologist with a trouble past. When their two worlds meet everything will change for them both.

Austin is a single dad with the cutest little girl. Sara is a teacher who moves in Connell Lea with her speaking issues. Both have such a strong attractor scorcher and who cannot help but fall in love with Lea. Another great book by Msn. Jackson.

Austin didn’t have a great childhood, he is trying to get his ranch going, and he’s been left with his daughter who won’t talk. What more could happen?

Being a live in nanny is something new for Sara. She is in need of restart and helping Lea is just what she needs. I mean what better to have for a nanny than a speech pathologist ?

It’s a journey of healing and learning life isn’t going to always go the way you want but you can have what you want if you’re willing to compromise. Really enjoyed this one.

I'm not a fan of this kind of covers and I could have easily done without this shirtless cowboy, but I was captured by the synopsis of this book so... I have read it and now I'm here to talk with you about it!

I LOVE the single father/mother trope and this book is a perfect mixture of it and cuteness. Sara is a speech pathologist that, after a breakdown at work, needs a fresh start both professional and personal.The perfect opportunity arrives when her best friend, Rachel, offers her a summer job in her brother's rach. There Sara have to look after Lea, Austin's daughter, that haven't spoken a word since her mother abandoned her.

This is the first book I read by this author and I'm glad to say that I really liked it. Mary's writing is so capturing and real that I felt every emotion, every fear for Lea's problem that Austin and Sara felt.
In The Rancher's Tempting Nanny communication is the key: it is really important for Lea, that didn't speak because of her mother, but it is also important in Austin and Sara's relationship because a lot of things might have been different if the two of them just talked.
Anyway I really liked this book, I appreciated the happy ending too, even if I was expecting something different... Something more.

I absolutely want to read something else by this author and obviously I'll keep you posted, but in the meantime I totally recommend you to read The Rancher's Tempting Nanny if you love the single father/mother trope or if you need a really cute book in which life gives to our characters a second chance to be happy.

Oh, I almost forgot: this cover is totally misleading, this book isn't sexy or vulgar at all.

I usually like the nanny trope. Throw in a rugged cowboy? Yum!
But this story is disappointing.
Sara and Austin meet when she comes to live with him and his daughter, Lea. Lea has stopped talking and Sara is there to help. This part of the story is well done. The reasons this little girl went quiet are realistic and developed. Sara’s advice to Austin, regarding the encouragement and understanding needed to help Lea find her voice again are well founded.
My problem is Austin. And also, Sara’s acceptance of his treatment of her, sets me off.
She is a smart, professional, empathetic woman. Yet, when Austin gets upset, he takes his anger out on Sara and unjustly verbally abuses her. Then he walks away for awhile, comes back , proceeds to kiss her, a quick “I’m sorry” (Yes! In that order!) and cue the hearts and butterflies. All is forgiven!

How old is this guy? Petulant 2 year old???

Sweet plot! I enjoyed the storyline very much, especially because of little Lea. A perfect love for a perfect child.

I do not appreciate the fact that Sara kept bending because of Austin. He seems to have no respect for her feelings and always lashes out at her, whereas she absorbs all this and still tries to make amends, even when she's not guilty. While compromise is a good thing, a man should know when to apologise and it does not feel like Austin knows this. Sara does not feel like a contemporary woman or a good example for the modern woman.

I would have appreciated more feminist major characters, especially ones who could be a great example for any young woman.

I believe Mary Sue Jack and Leslie North are great writers and can become even greater if they consider these factors.

This was a cute book, but didn't necessarily match the title of the book. The title made the book seem like it would be nefarious, but this was about as G rated a book as you could get. I feel some may be turned off by the title, but the book is quite straight laced.

This is a story about a man who had a child out of wedlock, but the mother wouldn't let him see the baby except a few times each year. Then suddenly just before the baby turned 2, the mom was tired of being a mother so she left the child with the dad and was never heard from again. That's when baby Lea stopped talking. The rancher dad didn't know what to do, so he hired his sister's childhood friend to be a nanny for the summer. This nanny also happened to be a licensed speech pathologist. She was escaping her past - she was a recent divorcee and she had recently quit her job after an unpleasant experience with a child at a public school.

The three of them together all summer started to feel like a real family. But could they each trust the other enough to make a relationship work or will the nanny return home to start a new life?

This was a simple romance novel. Austin suddenly has a mute daughter and on recommendations of his sister, he hires a nanny, Sara, to help. The relationships between the characters were enjoyable to read. It was light and simple plot. It makes for a good summer read.

Not much good can be said about this storyline. There is much silly angst, the worst is the yelling and anger at the female main character. Just did not like this one and why would she end up with this immature jerk.
