Three stories in one but with the same theme, twins. I don't read a lot of Amish novels but reading this has changed my mind, I really enjoyed this. Very well written and shows how the Amish people really live. I am giving this 5 stars and I recommend everyone enjoys this book.

Thanks to Net Galley and the publisher for this ARC in return for an honest review.

Amish Christmas Twins is an awesome collection of three Christmas stories by different authors. Each of these stories takes place within the Amish community with families that are blessed with twins. The stories are all well written, easy to follow and will touch the reader’s heart. They include topics such as foster care, adoption, infertility, gambling, infidelity and death.

I really enjoyed reading these stories. The stories are a good length to read in an evening. They are very descriptive and easy to imagine. I especially enjoyed reading Twins Times Two. The humor of the two sets of twins that are always getting into trouble was fun to read. I wish this story would be turned into a full length book.

I received an e-book copy from Kensington Books through NetGalley, this is my honest review.

Amish Christmas Twins is a collection of three novellas, all containing twins! The Christmas Not-Wish (Shepherd Gray) tells the story of orphans Jemima and Roy, who have endured several foster homes after the death of their parents. Just before Christmas Jemima and Roy are placed with the Kurtz's who are very different from their last foster home. The Kurtz's welcome Jemima and Roy into their family in many ways, while dealing with the children's fears.

New Beginnings (Good) tells the story of widowed Elizabeth Yoder and her neighbor and childhood friend Luke Bontrager. Luke helps Elizabeth deal with the loss of an unborn child, and discover that they both had "misread" certain events when they were younger. A surprise Christmas morning brings them together and their lives are dramatically changed.

Twins Times Tow (Lough) is the story of two sets of twin boys whose antics inadvertently bring together widow Abigail and local farmer Jubal.

These are perfect stories for the holidays, as they speak of the challenges of the holidays, family, faith, forgiveness and love. All three are wonderful stories, quickly read, and all leave you wanting to read more by these authors!

Thank you Kensington and NetGalley for the ARC and the opportunity to read and review!

A beautiful read about 3 sets of people who experience the the wonder and miraculous time of year that Christmas brings.

The novellas covered topics that you don't see in the average love story: foster care, adoption, grief, mischievousness, betrayal, and renewed love. This collection of short stories would be a great addition to your to be read list this Christmas.

I was given an advanced copy of this book by Kensington Publishers and NetGalley and all opinions expressed are my own.

Often when you get a book that has separate stories there are some that you love and some you thought were just "ok". Not so with this book. Each author put out a story you will LOVE. Some funny moments, some tearful moments. But all have that "feel good"" result. I am very happy with this book!

THE CHRISTMAS NOT-WISH
New York Times and USA Today Bestselling Author Shelley Shepard Gray
When the foster parents they’ve cautiously grown to love discover they’re expecting, orphaned Roy and Jemima Fisher, ages six and seven, are secretly devastated by the certainty they’ll be given up. With Christmas around the corner, their only wish is for new foster parents as nice as Mr. and Mrs. Kurtz. Meanwhile, the Kurtzes have wishes of their own—and with faith, they all may be gifted with twice the blessings . . .

NEW BEGINNINGS * Rachel J. Good
Still grieving the loss of her husband and unborn baby in an accident several months ago, Elizabeth Yoder is oblivious to her neighbor Luke Bontrager’s deepening affection for her. But while she bleakly faces Christmas alone, it’s Luke who reminds her it’s the season for giving. And when Elizabeth donates her handmade baby clothes to New Beginnings, a home for teen moms, she soon finds her gifts repaid beyond measure, with Luke’s love—and new beginnings of their own . . .

TWINS TIMES TWO * Loree Lough
What happens when two secretive, stubborn people find themselves thrown together to help four rascally youngsters—twins times two!—create a Christmas surprise for their parents? Mischief and mayhem, and just maybe . . . love!

Thank you to NetGalley and Kensington Books for kindly providing me with a digital copy of this book for review.
This is a collection of 3 novellas, all set in the Amish community, and all focusing in some way on twins. The first two stories are firmly set at Christmas time, whilst the third spans a larger time scale.
What I really like about Amish Christmas stories is that they tend to really home in on the elements that I feel Christmas should be about. It’s more to do with spending time with loved ones, appreciating what you have rather than striving for things you don’t, helping and caring for others, and of course all that yummy Christmas baking to share with literally anyone that sniffs a sugar cookie straight out of the oven. Just delightful. There’s no frantic parents dashing around shops and begging/bribing for the latest must have toy. I realise the Amish setting won’t be for everyone, but I would urge you to give it a try if you are a romance reader, or simply enjoy a good honest sweet story that focuses on family values. Out on general sale at the end of September and I would definitely say it’s worth your time and will give you a few cosy Christmas feels.

I really enjoyed these novellas. I was looking for something uplifting, where I wouldn’t have to wince at the language or skip over the sex scenes. This book fit those requirements. I can probably count on one hand how many books I’ve read that fall under the Amish category, but I am going to seek out more books by these authors. It was a heartwarming and happy read. During the last two stories I was a little frustrated and thought “Just talk to each other already!” But what romance is complete without a little angst?

This collection is a Christmas treat that can be enjoyed any time of year. Each story was sweet and special. One is about foster twins learning to trust that they might finally have a new home. The other two stories are about people opening themselves up for a second chance at love. I loved this collection. This anthology also gave me two more authors to put in my reading list.

Three sweet Amish stories to keep you captivated and page turning!
We are back with the 8 with Shelley Shepard Gray, and I have enjoyed all of the books surrounding this group, and this one is excellent. I could just feel the pain of those orphans, and now they are where God wants them to be, but it is hard for them!
The book by Rachel J Good really pulls on your heart, and you wonder how it can come to a happy ending, wow! I can't even imagine cleaning out that bedroom!
The story by Loree Lough almost made my heart stop right in the beginning, word pictures made me feel like I was a spectator and watching these young boys, a time when they needed a firm hand. I enjoyed how these teens were dealt with by their parents and the outcome. This one will have you looking for answers, and there are surprises
I received this book through Net Galley and the Publisher Kensington, and was not required to give a positive review.

I was excited to have the opportunity to read this book which includes three novellas by different authors.
I am very familiar with Shelley Shephard Gray and always enjoy her books. Her novella included characters from a series and it was fun to read more about some of them! This story is touching while shining a positive light on foster care as well as adopting children.

Rachel Good is the second author and this is the first book I have read by her. It was a heart warming story about a widow and watching her healing from a tragic loss in her life. This story held extra special meaning to me because I’m also adopted. It was moving to see a young woman be so wise and sacrificial.

Loree Lough is also an author I had not read but I liked this story! The twins antics were something and they were definitely a handful. The boys learned some valuable things while they helped a neighbor as a “ punishment “ for their stunts. An enjoyable book!

I am so grateful for the opportunity to read this book early. Thank you NetGalley and Keningston !
