Love this series and author. Was looking forward to this book and it didn’t disappoint. Bit different from rest of series. Seems to be setting you up for future books and wasn’t as heavy on romance part. But overall great book by fantastic writer.

Scottish Hottie Vampire finally gets his story - and it's a doozy!
Adare and Grace have been percolating in the background for a while now. She was in a coma and he managed to help her by mating her, just without the sex (that's the best bit too LOL). Fast forward a few years and Grace has been up and around for a while and is trying to piece together what happened to her before her coma.
The backstory as it unfolds is awesome, intricate and very heartbreaking. Similarly, Adare is carrying around a bucketload of guilt and self-recrimination which is getting in the way of ensuring Grace mates him properly.
Adare and Grace are a great match - they both have layers to peel away. But the secondary characters are also a joy. Especially, Benny, I need to know what his story is ASAP! Plenty of twists and WTH moments to keep you interested and the passion is off the charts HAWT!

I've read a few books from the Dark Protectors series now, I have been waiting to find out how things would unfold with Grace and Adare. They have popped up time and time again, as they are reluctant mates, not properly connected. I thought that it might be fun when they finally got together and that's what they have in this book.
I've enjoyed seeing their relationship, or lack of it, at a distance in the previous books. Now we finally see them finding out what they might mean to one another. It clear that despite their distance, they really do have feelings for one another. I liked the way that they are together. Adare is a little overbearing, as most of the male characters are in this series, but Grace is able to hold her own. That said, there were a couple of times that I think he went a little too far, although I would like to think that he would learn to trust her and treat her as more of an equal. I prefer storylines where there is more equality.
With all of these books, there is the overarching storyline that involves Hope and her future role in bringing an end to the conflict in their world. We did see some more of this in this book, with whole chapters devoted to Hope and her friends. I'm looking forward to seeing where that will go.
This would probably work as a standalone if you haven't already read any books in this series. I think that you would get far more out of it if you were to read the other books first. It also sets up for the next book, which I assume with involve Benny.
I received a complimentary copy of this book through NetGalley. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own.

Grace and Adare have been dancing around each other in previous books - happy to finally get to learn more about their backgrounds and their marriage of convenience.
Highly recommend reading the other books in the series as this book does not work well as a stand alone.

This book is a return to the Realm and DID NOT disappoint. As a reader of this author for many years, this book helped tie a lot of threads together and move the overall story of the Realm along. Our Heroine, keeps the Hero (a member of the Seven) on his toes as he tries to focus on his mission without her interference. She is a spitfire, who takes no crap from the hero, and he assumes his directives will be obeyed. She doesn’t like the word obey and is a free thinking firecracker all the way around. He is very much an alpha male that I imagine has a charming Irish brogue. He’s old-fashioned and is often surprised that this small female continues to stand-up to him and forge her own path to discover her past and missing memories. From their first meet up after 5 years at the beginning of the story and through all of the twists and turns, this book will totally keep you on your toes. There are many story lines that are interwoven and you will most definitely not be bored!

Zanetti rocks!
This is Adare and Grace’s story. They mated to save Grace and lived apart for five years just to need each other again. This book was action packed, funny and kept me interested from beginning to end. I loved seeing the characters from previous books as well as getting a glimpse of what’s coming for Benny, Sam, Hope and Pax.
I don’t think any other characters had to work as hard as these two did to make things work. I love Adare’s love for Grace- “I'm committed to you and will be a good mate so long as I live”.
I loved seeing the Seven in action and visiting the Realm again.
I can say I did not want to stop reading and was sacrificing getting a full night’s sleep before work just so I could continue reading. Rebecca never disappoints. I can’t wait to read the next story.
I received this copy for my honest review from NetGalley.

Ahhhhhhh this was just such a wonderful book and I just thoroughly enjoyed myself. I didn’t want to put this book down. I just fell in love with this wonderful story and it’s wonderful characters. I will most definitely be reading more stories from this wonderful author.

I have been waiting for the love story of Grace and Adare since book 8 and totally loved it. Rebecca Zanetti has out done herself with these two amazing characters. Between Adare O’Cearbhaill's Highlander, duty bond, alpha irritable self and Grace Cooper's I am so done with vampires and there weird world attitude you can't help but fall in love with the two of them.
Adare and Grace are the perfect mated yet not fulled mated couple. He mated her over five years ago to save her life without her consent and this book picks up from there. This is a very fast paced, action packed, thrilling book. Once you start reading it you're not gonna want to put it down.
This is not a stand alone book but you don't have to start reading from book 1 'Fated' if you don't want to. A good starting place for this far in the series is book 8 'Vampires Faith'.

the next installment of the Dark Protectors/The Seven series does not disappoint... finally the tale of Adare and his (sorta) mate Grace. Their story started earlier in the series when Adare was forced to mate with Grace to save her life from the coma that was slowly killing her... fast forward five years and they finally reconnect after going their own ways when Grace woke up.
it wouldn't be a Zanetti book without chaos and drama and, you know, saving the world (or at least a little part of it) from the evil vampires, but plenty left to happen for when the rest of The Seven get their own books (or at least I am assuming)... fingers crossed we get Benny soon!

Grace and Adare. Very complicated. This was a great addition to the series. It’s not as romantic as some of the others in the series. I really enjoyed the beginning. There is some filler in the middle with side stories of secondary characters, hopefully setting up their future stories. Adare is very OTT and Grace is a strong, independent woman. HEA.

Another enjoyable book in this long running series. I love a grumpy hero and this one didn't disappoint. I enjoyed the brief glimpses of other couples from the other books and seeing where they are in their lives. The ending opened up another story arc and I can't wait for it.

I really liked this book, even if both of the main characters acted very stubborn/stupid at times. It was a good continuation of the series and I really want to know what happens in the end.

Love this book! Five years ago Adare mated Grace to save her life, without her consent. This book picks up where they are currently and there has been something Grace has been hiding from Adare. Something huge.
When they find her buying vampire blood in a bar it becomes very obvious that Adare hasn't done a very good job teaching and taking care of her. But Grace refuses to be a responsibility!
Follow this sometimes sweet sometimes funny story as they find out more about each other.
I received this ARC in exchange for an honest review.

I've read several of the books in this series and this is one of the first newer ones I really liked!
Fast paced, and smart I liked Grace and Adare quite a bit as a couple. I loved that Grace's desire for independence, she wasn't any wimpy mate waiting on her man she was tough a cookie HURRAY!
Per usual the mix of tech, science, fate, demons, vampires, and shifters is such a fun world in this series. I'm looking forward to what comes next. Especially Benny's story!!

I received a copy of this book from NetGalley and am providing an honest review.
Let me start by saying that this is the first book I've read in the series, not realizing that these could not be read as standalones. I'm not docking any stars for that since it was my fault, but know this isn't one of those series that's connected solely by characters, but instead by an ongoing plot between books.
For me, that's a good and a bad thing. Good because it justifies these books as being a series and the reappearance of characters from previous books isn't just a side note, but actually important to carrying the story forward. It's bad because a) I haven't read any of the other books, so there were a lot of names thrown at me that I had no connection to, which made them hard to remember and b) we're 9 years into this series (12 books and several novellas) and I'm not sure it's actually ending anytime soon, so when will we get to see how the broader story ends? Maybe this isn't a problem for longtime fans as they've gotten to grow with the characters and the story, but I can be a bit impatient sometimes. I will say that the author did a good job of providing big picture explanations so I wasn't completely lost on the bits of the story that carried forward from prior books.
What I really enjoyed about this book is all of the action! It was fast-paced and thrilling. While I also enjoyed the romance -- the chemistry between Adare and Grace was top notch (apart from the circular nature of their arguments about mating fully) -- I lived for the action. The author has a gift for really getting you invested in the battle scenes.
I'm not fully sold on Grace's 'enhancement,' if you could even call it that, but I otherwise liked her. I also really enjoyed Adare and Benny. It seems like a Benny story is coming soon and I'd love to see how things shake out for him!
All-in-all, as an outsider to this series glimpsing in 12 books into it, I'd totally recommend this (but only if you're able to not get hung up on knowing everything that's happened leading up to this point)!

Another amazing addition to this awesome PNR series. I LOVE this series and I am so glad Rebecca keeps writing in this world. Guardian's Grace follows Adare and Grace as they fall in love and battle the dangers ahead. I loved this one and thought it added a great addition to the series. Now I cant wait for the next Vamp.

Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for granting me an ARC of this book.
I’ve been wanting to read Grace and Adare’s story since Faith’s book. But sadly, I wasn’t really crazy over their book.
I found myself really frustrated at how Grace hemmed and hawed about truly mating with Adare. Adare had his own emotional hang ups that drove me batty too. Going on and on about how he has no emotions and his guilt over the slaughter of his clan centuries ago. Oy.
Honestly, I lost interest reading about their baggage and about her weird medical condition and all the drama surrounding it. These issues take up so much of the plot and I grew tired of all the back and forth over them.
I really liked all the action/fight scenes though! Those were exciting.
The other bright spot for me in this whole book were the chapters about Hope or when she was in the scenes. It’s her story arc that I’m really interested in. Can’t wait till she grows up and we finally find out what happens.

OMG! This is such a good book. There is action, humor, and sex. Along with vampires, demons, and some very evil beings. I read as slow as I could because I didn’t want the story to end. Cannot wait for the next story. Grace is strong and very brave. Adare is handsome and protective.
Grace is an enhanced human who was in a coma five years ago. She is a photographer and her pictures shows what’s in a persons soul. She is mated but with just a bite not sex and the mark is fading but so is her health. Adare is one of the Seven which means he is almost indestructible and mated to Grace. But he has let her live her life the past several years but once she is in danger, he expects her to really mate him. With the mission he is about to take, he doesn’t believe he’ll make it back alive so he wants Grace protected. Between fighting the Kurjans and keeping his mate alive and well, Adare is feeling emotions never felt before. But once Grace is taken, Adare will go to the ends of the earth to find her.
* Voluntarily read and reviewed this for NetGalley *

Grace wants nothing to do with to bring a Key, immortals, or her so-called mate - but when her health is once again failing and she can't piece together her past - where does that leave Adare?
I freaking loved this from start to finish! There are some funny tropey moments - all the forced proximity and bed-sharing you could want - plus - what is essentially a modern paranormal take on a marriage of convenience. Grace is a toughie who is artistic and kind and trusts her instincts and lets herself learn to trust Adare. Adare is a total cinnamon roll and has no idea what to do with this tiny woman who won't listen. This slow-burn really started books ago when Adare saved Grace from her life-threatening coma and watching their relationship grow and develop and their feelings evolve was beyond awesome. When they finally get to it - Grace is not one t take anything lying down and challenges every part of Adare's world view and I loved it.
I received a complimentary copy of this book. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own.

I'm breathless, absolutely breathless! Guardian's Grace was fast-paced and alternately had me holding my breath in anticipation and panting from excitement.
This is a middle book in the saga of The Seven, and we catch up with this deadly, but secretive, team of vampire-demon hybrids five years after the previous book, Hero's Haven. The physics of our world has been accidentally altered by The Seven and immortals who once had the ability to teleport no longer can. That hasn't stopped their enemy, the Kurjans, from continuing to plot, scheme, and kidnap. We find that Grace Cooper, who was partially mated to Adare O'Cearbhaill when he saved her from her coma, has been avoiding her grumpy mate in the interim and hiding a deteriorating medical condition. When he finally finds out about it, things heat up. The two lovers disagree about how to handle their tangled mating dilemma. Re-mate *yes, please!* or take the bond-cancelling virus?
Once again, Rebecca Zanetti knits a slew of fascinating and intricate storylines into one cohesive volume. At the centre is Grace and Adare's love story: their sizzling attraction, their debates of fate and future, their emotional mutual revelations on each other's psyches. Woven around them is danger, suicide missions, plotting and counterplotting, struggling alliances and dirty double-crosses. And finally, but definitely not the least of which, is the mysterious destiny of Hope Kayrs-Kyllwood. Hope has turned thirteen years old and a power shift is in the air ...
You know the feeling of running so fast that you stumble over your feet? That's how I felt in reading Guardian's Grace; my eagerness to devour Rebecca's words felt like I was crashing through the book with unstoppable urgency. The great characters in this storyline make each book re-readable, again and again. I'm planning to do so with this one as well.
