I didn't really enjoy this book. It just wasn't really for me. Maybe would be of interest to really dedicated fans of hard science fiction.

But, thank you for sending me this ARC.

Everybody likes different things. I like Sci-Fi, whereas some readers may like romance, for example, and others prefer historical fiction. However, nobody likes bad writing. As of December 2020, Beyond Kuiper has an average rating of 2 stars, which I believe fairly reflects the pronoun game Medney plays throughout the ENTIRE 330 pages. Even writing this review only days after finishing the book, I can't recall the protagonist's name! I have never been so compelled to DNF a book - the author's ability to overcrowd the pages with Mary Sues, consciously erase any valuable themes, and deplete the text of engaging literary devices and language is "beyond" my understanding. There's not much else to say; Beyond Kuiper was not an enjoyable read and I implore you to try other novels before this one. However, these are all my opinions and I respect any thoughts you have about the book!

I don't know if there was an issue with my download but the text in this book is all over the place, chunks are repeated here and there and it was incredibly ard work to make it through. It will be excellent when all these things are ironed out and i appreciate that i'm reading an ARC. I'm going to have to give it 2 stars for now but that can easily be moved to 4 wheni read a finished manuscript. Real nerdy sci-fi of the kind i adore and it's such a shame that the text was such a mess. Hopefully this can be fixed asap and i'll edit my review accordingly.

this was a really good read, the characters were great and I really enjoyed the artwork in the book. I look forward to more from the series as this was a really strong start.

Space travel, intrigue, adventure, drama, loss, enemies, awesome illustrations.

I had an little trouble to get in the story because it’s not really my taste of genre as what I expected but when I got over the first hurdle I liked the flow, the characters and the storyline.

The only good thing I could say about this graphic novel was so very good with it's graphics, but the plot was something that most of the people wouldn't get, It was just so specific and so into that. But I didn't enjoyed it and all I say is: Thanks Netgalley for this ARC but it wasn't worth it

This is such a weird book and I couldn't get into it so I DNF at 30%.

Thank you Netgalley for the ARC. All opinions are my own.

This is for a very specific kind of sci-fi fan. You have to like created words and alien races and scientific terms that make your head spin. There are footnotes at the bottom of the pages to explain along with a glossary of the conversions at the begging. The world-building is fun and parts with the aliens were the more interesting parts to me.

Unfortunately, the writing is a little dry and part of the way through the book, I would forget the main character's name. There aren't really descriptions of him or his wife. Just that she has wavy hair. I'd like to know what the people look like, especially since it's been proven that if there's no character description, the reader will assume everyone is white.

Emotional reactions to some things seep to happen fast and then resolve faster and it reminds me in a way of the books I used to steal from my dad when I didn't have anything to read. I gave it two stars for having some pretty interesting world-building and really selling it with the terms and footnotes.

It's just for a very specific reader.

This one was a weird read for me. I went in expecting something else and then after the first few chapters it just did not hook me

This one was a weird read for me. I went in expecting something else and then after the first few chapters it just did not hook me as much as I thought it would have. Sadly this did not really work for me and I think maybe someone else will find it more interesting. I ended up dnf'ing it halfway through because it just did not fit my taste. Thank you for letting me read it anyways!
