A lot of celebrities seem to be coming out with cookbooks lately, which most people might shy away from because most of them have no cooking background, but I happen to really enjoy most of them. I find it helps me connect with the recipes more since I already follow the authors themselves and it gives me a little insight into what they eat on a daily basis. This cookbook was no different, it had lots of easy to make recipes that were delicious. I made a few things: the pumpkin chocolate chip cookies, lemon basil pasta, and the oatmeal protein balls. They all turned out great and the recipes were easy to follow. I loved that it had pictures of her family and plenty of pictures of the food, that is always a plus, I am definitely more apt to enjoy a cookbook more and want to make the recipes if there are pictures.

Loved the variety of cuisine. These are all recipes I could see me and my family loving. There are some staples that you probably already know how to make, but have a little bit of a different twist. The pictures are beautiful and I love how she adds a story to each recipe. Will definitely be making a lot of these recipes!

Thank you to NetGalley and HarperCollins for this ARC.

Perhaps I've just gone through too many cookbooks lately, but nothing in here really blew my mind. None of the receipes made me jump up and think I need to make it ASAP. It's just an okay cookbook.

I received an arc of this title from NetGalley for an honest review. I will definitely purchase a copy of this as there are some great recipes.

Some recipes looked better than others. She admits not all of the recipes are hers some are her friends but she puts her own "spin" on them.

The recipe that infuriates me the most in the is the Yankee Bars, after doing "lots of researching" because her husband is a "northerner" copies a scotcheroo recipe and gives her her own name, why not just call them what they are?

Warm and inviting, Decker draws you into her kitchen with familiar recipes. No obscure ingredients that might be hard to find and recipes are likely to please the pickiest palate.

This book was received as an ARC from HarperCollins Publishers - Dey Street Books in exchange for an honest review. Opinions and thoughts expressed in this review are completely my own.

I am a fan of Jessie James Decker and the lifestyle she has created with her husband Eric Decker and her boys. The recipes she has made for her family look so inviting, delicious and perfect for a party. My favorite thing ever in cookbooks besides the pictures is when the author incorporates a personal experience and tells her fans how she would serve and even eat the dishes and which is who's favorite. The dish I really want to try is Taco Night with Eric's Guacamole. I am usually not a taco person but those look absolutely delicious.

We will consider adding this title to our TX collection at our library. That is why we give this book 5 stars.
