This one reminds me of Chip and Dale.

I wish the illustrations were a bit different. It's basic art for kids but I was expecting a bit more I guess. Loved it anyway.

The characters are lively. But the pants part sound a bit weird though. But cute.

Thanks Authors and publishers for the copy.

These are my pants introduces us to Sam, a squirrel, who looks more like a chipmunk, who has lots of pants. We see several of his pairs and he explains what he does when he wears them. When he meets a squirrel who has ripped his only pair of pants, Sam offers to share and give him a pair of his own pants. Later, as Sam and his mother sort through his things, she encourages him to donate his extras to Goodwill. A lovely sentiment, but not much to this story. My grandkids were not involved in the story at all. The illustrations are large, bright and whimsical, but other than that, there was not much that interested my grandchildren (ages 4 and 6)

This book is all over the place. A squirrel named Sam has lots of pants and tells the reader about every pair and what they do on those pants. Then he meets a new squirrel who is upset because he ruined his only pair of pants. So Sam decides to give him a pair of his. This book was written for Goodwill (the organization). The first part of the story is just a hyperactive kid describing everything he does and wears. The “lesson” of the story is left for the last page, and is not well done. The illustrator did a better job telling the story in pictures, both of playing and the family gathering stuff for Goodwill. The authors left that blank and were just like here you go. Overall not a successful book for the authors, but I love the work of the illustrator.

I was a little disappointed in this book. I feel like it was all over the place and didn't make chronological sense. That being said, the message about donating pants is important and I'm glad that it was addressed.

It's a wonderful thing to teach little ones to share with and to give to others. This book is a fantastic conversation starter to ignite and discuss this important life lesson. The book is written through the eyes of little Sammy, a chipmunk, who lives in a tree with his parents. He invites the reader into his home to check out his room. He proudly displays his vast collection of pants and shorts... one for each occasion or activity that he participates in: pyjama pants, baseball pants, chef pants (when he helps makes the family dinner), and his cool camouflage pants (when he plays hide-and-go-seek), just to cite a few.
Sam encounters a little squirrel that is not as fortunate as he is. He discovers the upset little guy has torn his only pair of pants and has no means to repair or replace them. Oh my! What can Sam do to comfort him? His tender, compassionate heart leads him to share his vast array of pants with this forlorn little boy. As Sam and his mother sort through his belongings she encourages him to donate some of his abundance to Goodwill. She explains that by doing so he will be helping out those less fortunate which will make them very grateful and happy.

The illustrations are well done and enrich the message of the text greatly. "The Adventures of Giving Series" from Plank Books is dedicated to helping children understand the importance of giving back to those in need. You can connect with Plank Books at www.plankbooks.com I highly recommend this book.

Thank you for the advanced reader sample of the book.

This is the story of a chipmunk named Sam who has a lot of pants. He has one for every occasion, even two for some. Then he met someone who had only one pants. The idea of the book is how to initiate children to share, if they have a lot like Sam. Can be to a friend or to a charity.

Oh dear.
The picture of the authors was so adorable. I loved it and they are the perfect couple.
However, there was a misspelling of "favorite" and I didn't understand the point of "These are My Pants." Was it a fun story about pants? Or was it about sharing? I didn't truly catch the point.
However, kids will enjoy the brightly colored illustrations.

Nice lesson is sharing with those less fortunate for littles. Squirrel's friend rips his only pair of pants and squirrel gives him a parir of his as he has so many. Encourages donating to Goodwill in the end. Illustrations are sweet!

While I do purchase and read books to the pre-k crowd, since my own kids are older my head isn't really in the game anymore. That said, I am sure this is a perfectly wonderful book to help kids learn some self-reliance around their own clothing choices. The illustrations are very cartoony and Disneyesque which folks may like, but is not my cup of tea. If I had to sum up this book I would call it perfectly serviceable. It's not going to be a classic, but it certainly may help with the daily clothes battle.

Sam the squirrel enjoys showing off all of his pants. The story is geared towards a younger child who will definitely enjoy the various pants. I like that this book teach kids to donate to those who are less fortunate.

This was a cute and short book with lots of opportunities for interaction. The pictures were colorful and vibrant. This would be a good tool to teach children about sharing and routines.

A fun story about how the squirrel loves different pants for different activities. Good option for fashion driven kids!
