What could be older or more worn out than those darned 10 commandments? "Thou shalt NOT" - ugh. But wait - Hamilton takes these older than dirt words and makes them relevant today. These were written long before Jesus was born and yet Hamilton weaves the commandments into Jesus' life and modernizes it for today's readers. Inspiring.

We're using this book for our Lenten study. Rev. Hamilton has a knack for connecting with people wherever they are in their faith journey, and this book is no exception. The topic of the Ten Commandments did not really excite some of the folks in our study group, but we have used a few other books written by Hamilton so they were willing to give it a try. With a depth of knowledge and an engaging style of writing, Rev. Hamilton brings these words to life (no pun intended), showing us how the Ten Commandments are gifts and guides that point us towards more joyful and abundant living.
