I love a grumpy hero And August Porter does not disappoint.

August Porter is a grump.  And Moira Rossi is the exact opposite. He shows up on Mo's doorstep a day early and is surprised to see Moira there because his grandmother never mentioned Mo was a woman. He's in Denver to help his grandmother with her flower shop, convince her to sell, retire and move with him. He plans are to start his own flower farm and take care of his grandmother.

Mo wants to help him see Denver in a different light and reconsider taking over his grandmother's business. But August is stiff and rigid and her first attempt at taking to see the city is a fail. So she has to rethink her strategy.
In the meantime, they both feel the spark between them and are hesitant to do anything about it. Because sleeping with your roommate might not be the best idea but it might help relieve the tension.

To say that Mo is not what August was expecting in his new roommate is a total understatement! First of all, August thought Mo was man, and he thought the two of them would be a good match. But he's the neat-freak, orderly guy to her hippie, bohemian gal, and the sparks fly as Mo teaches August how to really embrace life.

This was a really fun read. Seeing the succession of roommates that preceed August was so comical, and it set the stage for August to be the nice, normal, charming roommate. Too bad his first impression is a bad one! Luckily for both of them, the more time they spend together, the more they get to know each other, the better they see the true nature and personality of their roommate.

August is determined not to fall in love with Mo, but it really is just inevitable. Mariah Ankenman wrote a fun, engaging, heartwarming rom com for us to enjoy.

Moira is the last of her three friends to remain single. She is a delightful, happy and fiercely loyal person. August is a planner who likes order in everything he does. These two are the opposite in every way and yet they can’t help their attraction to each other. The story is sweet yet with very steamy scenes. Moira and August find themselves in some funny scenes that will make you laugh at their antics. It is a warm read that you will enjoy.

A roommate's opposites-attract romance that's fast-paced and a quick feel-good romantic comedy.
Moira a.k.a "Mo" is a messy dynamo who's sunshine and happy go lucky. August is organized, grumpy, and scared by his parent's behavior.
Mo is looking for a normal roommate but she never imagined that she would deal with her exact opposite August, it's fun seeing them from being at odds, to give in to their chemistry, fwb, and definitely more.

I absolutely love roommate stories. Especially when one of them has no idea what they are walking into. But this one was painful to read. It didn't flow and the characters went immediately to sexy thoughts and stayed there instead of progressing any plot. I believe 3 pages in the first chapter were just sexy thoughts by the main girl and I could have done with half a page.

I'm a sucker for a good Rom-Com and The Roommate Problem delivered!! It hit me right in the feels. August Porter is dreamy as heck, Mo is adorably quirky and the tension between them can be cut with a knife.

This is such a cute read. We have a grumpy, but kindhearted hero. A heroine that is the complete opposite of him: upbeat, perky and a bit all over the place. Now the are stuck as each others roommates thanks to a well-intended yet meddling grandmother. And of course, feelings will develop and grow. Very cute rate and a nice break these days.

I love this series.

I have been waiting for Mo's story since the very start.
Mo is a breath of fresh air. While working with her best friends in their wedding planning business, Mo is in desperate need of a roommate. Therefore, when her friend suggests her grandson, Mo jumps on the opportunity. August is the COMPLETE opposite of Mo. He is clean, organised and his idea of hell, is going out on a night out. He loves flowers, the gym and clean eating, while Mo lives off grease and junk food. Yet, these two opposites just click and also have chemistry that is off the chart. Problem is they are roommates and August is leaving in 6months.

These two characters are so adorable in their own way. Mo is crazy, almost in a hippy type of way. August is so grumpy yet loveable when his walls come down. They shouldn't work but they do.

The storyline is a quick-paced and very entertaining. I love their banter and their vulnerable sides. If I am honest, it was a little repetitive, however, I still very much enjoyed their journey.

This book is part of a series however it can be read 100% as a standalone. It is also has a dual POV which is amazing, as August can be a difficult character to understand sometimes.

Overall I loved this book and in whole the entire series.
I highly recommend this series.

4.5 stars - I love a slightly grumpy, sexy hero! Honestly, August isn’t so much grumpy as he is a little damaged and very guarded. Thankfully, Moira is the perfect tonic for all of August’s wounds. This is a sexy and sweet romance and a great way to finish up this series. I enjoyed it!

This book was exactly what I wanted to read right now! It's full of humor, heat, and heart.

I absolutely adore Moira and August. He is a bit of a grump - her nicknames for him were hilarious - and she is full of sunshine. He is sure they will not get along during their six months as roommates, but the chemistry between them is undeniable.

There are moments as I got to know both Moira and August that I found myself relating to their experience or outlook. They felt like real people with real issues and concerns.

I have really enjoyed this series, but I think this is hands down my favorite book from the author.

Big thanks to netgalley and Entangled Publishing for letting me get my hands on this book for free in exchange for my honest review!
I could not wait to read the final story in the Mile High Happiness series! The three friends (Lily, Pru, and Mo) and co-owners of the Mile High Happiness wedding planning business, are so fun and real and I thoroughly enjoyed getting to read each of their love stories. You don’t *have* to read them in order BUT I would recommend it so you get to know them all without spoiling their happy endings!
I love all the friendships here, especially with Agatha, the flower vendor. As always in Mariah Ankenman’s books, the chemistry sizzles and the characters are quirky and real. Mo and August are a classic opposites attract situation but Mariah does a good job of showing how they complement each other and come to respect each other’s differences. My only complaint is that it always ends too soon! Highly recommend if you’re looking for a light read with laughs and sweet romance!

The Roommate Problem is such a cute read. I couldn't get enough of Moira and August. They are so opposite that they just make sense. You will see what I mean by that once you start reading this book. Moira is just this ball of energy that you can't help but to love. She makes everyone her friend and always goes that extra mile to help anyone out. I love her relationship with Agatha, August's grandmother. Moira sees the world a different way and just wants everyone as happy as she is. Then there is grumpy August and once you get to know him you understand his ways. You feel for him with everything he went through as a kid. He has his own way of thinking and just wants to do things his way. I love the changes in August once he wakes up and really sees what his grandma and Moira are trying to show him. The chemistry between August and Moira is fabulous. I love them together so much. I really couldn't put this one down and was left with a huge smile on my face.

What happens when two polar opposites start to fall for each other?
This book is a feel good romantic comedy featuring Mo Rossi who wears her heart on her sleeve. She is attractive and has an amicable and garrulous demeanour. As her roommate has moved out she is looking for a replacement. But, what will happen if this roommate is a an insanely handsome but taciturn , no nonsense guy? Do opposites really attract? Read to find out!

I really like the whole we’re roommates to lovers story line. This was a nice bit of fluffy reading that was needed at the time I read it. I really liked how it was done in both parts. It was fast paced also.

I liked the friendship the characters had with August’s grandma. The fact that Mo was willing to help her out even with stuff she didn’t have to help her with showed a lot about her character. This was a four star rating.

Thank you Entangled and Netgalley for giving me the chance to read and review this book. My thoughts and opinions are my own.

This story is all about when opposites attract. Complete and utter opposites. Moira is happy go lucky. Nothing gets her down. She sees the good in everything. August is angry. Rude. Set in his ways and only there for his grandmother.

Secretly, you know August's grandmother set this whole situation up to get August and Moria together. She knew they would be perfect fit.

Yes! After The Best Man Problem I was keeping an eye out for the next book of Mariah Ankenman. Because I really wanted to see Mo's story. She is Lilly's best friend and business partner and she is hilarious. Always sunny and full of confidence that all will work out. Except when she is looking for a new roommate, since Lilly is no longer living with her. But after some strange people and no suitable roommate in sight, she is getting desperate, because she needs a roommate to pay the rent. When Agatha, their flower vendor for their Mile High Happiness wedding planning business, proposes that her grandson could rent the place, Mo agrees without meeting the guy. After all: since Agatha is not only a vendor, but also a very dear friend of Mo, how bad can her new roommate be?
August didn't think his roommate Mo would be a girl. But of course, he shouldn't have trusted his grandmother, who is good at scheming. She has hinted enough that he should settle down with a cute girlfriend. But after being tossed back and forth between his parents, August doesn't feel like settling down. Ever.
When chaotic Mo and neatfreak August try to make the best of the situation, they soon learn that opposites really can attract. But add some secrets to the mix and you have a lot of chemistry... Hot and explosive. Four out of five stars from me and a special thank you to Netgalley for providing the arc.

The Roommate Problem by Mariah Ankenman a five-star read that will bring Sunshine to your life. This is so adorkable, it’s a total opposites attract in the best way, I have loved the Mile High Happiness series and was almost a little sad this was number three as there are only three Mile High Happiness ladies will there be more? These can all be read as stand-alone as they do each tell the story of a different partner in the Mile High Happiness business and well its so nice when the people who make others dreams come true get their own happiness. Mo was just sublime I adored her to her messy little toes and August is just the opposite in the best way possible, I adored his knowledge of flowers including the history and meaning behind them, it just added another layer to this great story.

I recieved a free copy from netgalley in exchange for an honest review. I liked this book.

Moira (Mo) needs a new roommate now that her best friend has moved in with her fiance. When Agatha suggests her grandson, she agrees.
August didn't know his roommate was going to be female. He just wants to convince his grandmother to sell her flower shop and then move out of the city so he can grow his flowers.

This book is an opposites attract romance. Mo is a messy, junk food eating, hair dying city girl. Meanwhile, August is a health food, neat freak, who hates any city. The attraction is undeniable.

This book has a relatively fast pace and you dont have time to get bored. This is the third book in the series but I havent read the first two and this was still a fun read. I would check out the other books in the series.

Thank you to netgallery and Entangled publishing for giving this book in exchange for an honest review. All thoughts and opinions on this review are mine.
This book is a contemporary romance novels bel with an opposite attract trope. You could see that August and Mo were exact opposite. It was quite clear. She was messy, he was neat and organised. what I really love amount romance novels is how authors are able to bring two different characters together. The author is able to create a love story whereby the hero and the heroine balance each other out which is what a real life relationship is about. I felt that this author was able to accomplish this. I really loved how they met but I don’t want to spoil it for you by writing it. The only thing I didn’tike was how their love story was portrayed. It felt a bit too rushed. But that’s just my honest opinion anyway. I really loved Agatha and I can assure you, you will love her too. I recommend to anybody who likes a cute romance. Overall it was an okay book for me. It was an enjoyable read.
