I loved this! I thought it was super cute and I really loved Mo and August. It is part of a series which I realized at the end so it’s definitely ok as a stand-alone. Thank you to netgalley for the ARC!

A low-key contemporary romance about opposites who star hooking up and fall in love. The best part of this book was that the hero wasn’t an alpha at all but a slight control freak working out issues from his childhood. He cries! He talks about his feelings of abandonment! However, what the book was missing was showing the main characters falling in love, rather than just telling us that they had. I wanted more scenes of their interacting while they were hooking up.

There are a lot of contemporary references, but remove those, and this book feels a throwback to a late 90s/early 00s contemporary.

Wow pleasantly surprised at how much I liked this one! I figured oh just another "roommate romance" which in some aspects it is but I'm not even sure what grabbed me about this one other than I really enjoyed reading it! It was funny light hearted I loved the quirky female lead! She was awesome! Definitely don't miss out on this book ! Thank you NetGalley and the publishers for sharing this book with me!
