Reading the acknowledgements at the end, I learned that Netflix is putting out a Dash & Lily series, and I am so excited! In the beginning, we watched them get together. Then we watched them declare their love for one another. Now we watch them both deal with the angst of having to decide what they want to do with their lives while they’re still teenagers. Dash has started at Oxford and Lily is taking a gap year, and neither are too happy in their lives without one another. Lily sends Dash an advent calendar to make the season bright, and in what I think as someone of an oversight, put a note to attend an evening event in the same day’s door. Is he going to make it? Or is he so tired and depressed after exams that he’s completely crashed at his Grandma’s house? Another great holiday read featuring these inimitable alternating perspectives of Dash and Lily. It would be okay without reading the first 2 in the series, but I wouldn’t.
Big thanks to Netgalley and the publisher for the advanced reader copy in exchange for an honest review.

These two writing geniuses have done it once again with Mind the Gap, Dash & Lily. If you haven't read the other two Dash and Lily books you need to because they are amazing. Mix in two adorable characters add a great location and you have a recipe for a hit book.

I just adore this couple to pieces, and I'm so glad to go on another adventure with them. Oxford University isn't what Dash had in mind when he decided to attend, and Lily has been using her gap year to promote her "dogtrepreneur" business, which is booming. This Christmas, she pays Dash a surprise visit in England, it doesn't begin quite how she anticipated: the long distance hasn't been the easiest for either of them. Choosing your life's direction after high school is often one of the most intimidating milestones in a person's life, but together, Dash and Lily can take on the world. You can always rely on Levithan and Cohn for a humorous and heartwarming collaboration!

Dash has been struggling at Oxfor and Lily has been thriving in NYC with her dog walking and dog accessory business. Lily decides to surprise Dash in London for a Christmas visit but when he seems less than thrilled, they must examine their relationship, their dreams and their future plans. It was great with catch up with Dash and Lily. A great chapter in this series.
