This was a fun, enjoyable enemies-to-lovers romance. I really enjoyed both of the main characters, and even though I already knew it was going to end well, since it's a romance novel, I still enjoyed the journey to get there.

Wren Maxfield is a amazing heroine, one that is full of strength, sass and stubbornness. Wren childhood hasn’t been easy, either you cave to what her father wanted you to be or you weren’t worth his time, Wren broke that mold. Wren found what she was looking for in the one place she really shouldn’t.

Creed Cooper was a challenge for me as a reader, but the journey was well worth it. Creed lost his heart and vowed never to come close to love again. He put everything into his family’s business and his ranch. Did that help him guard himself from the stuffy, better than you Wren Maxfield? No.

Oh Boy! Things got interesting between Creeds families business Country Wines and Wrens families business Maxfield winery. Creed and Wren go head to head every chance they get, but what happens when the build up gets to be to much.

I enjoyed each and everyone of the supporting characters. They gave love, support, knowledge and some sibling fun. I can wait to see Jackson, Honey (Creeds Siblings) Cricket (Wren sibling) stories. I loved Emerson and Holton’s story( Wren’s elder sister) . There’s a secret undiscovered in Claiming the Rancher’s Heir, one that I hope Maisey Yates let’s come to love in the following books in the Golden Valley Vineyards Series.

Claiming the Rancher’s Heir is a brilliantly written western romance with strong character’s, powerful plot line, beautiful descriptions of every moment. Maisey Yates leaves no place in your heart untouched. I found myself cheering, understanding and hoping. We all have a journey we must walk to find our own Happily Ever After.

Well written and a good premise a good storyline. There was a lot friction and heat between the main characters. They had a good amount of witty banter. I enjoyed it a very entertaining romance.

Maisey Yates is one of my favorite authors. Spunky and raw is how I would describe this book. Strong men and strong women are the best romances and this ones has some power!

Complementary copy given for honest review and opinion from Netgalley.

Maisey Yates does it again. You think by now I'd expect to absolutely fall on love with the characters she creates and the stories she tells but I never do and everything time I fall so hard. Creed and Wren are enemies, rival winery families. There constant back and forth bickering finally comes to a head when they're trying to plan a event to bring together the local winery's to make them more popular with tourists. Wren finally sees that there bickering is just them pushing off the chemistry that they have for each other. Creed always knew the chemistry was there but hid behind there fighting to keep himself safe because he new something with Wren could never be small or easy. This was such a great story and perfect to start off my holiday reading. You can get a copy on November 10th and fall in love just like I did. Thanks to @netgalley for fueling my love for maisey and reading books before they're out!

Creed is a rich handsome cowboy. Creed has the hots for Wren. They both represent their families vineyards and are rivals. The idea is to join forces and not be rivals. It's debated to have a wine festival for Christmas. I loved the characters and dialogue. Although I thought Wren could be smart mouthed not sassy. I was hooked from beginning. I liked the names. There was a lot of background drama which I wasn't sure how I felt about . I liked that Wren was pregnant and everything that went along with that.

The latest book in the Gold Valley Vineyards has rivals Wren Maxfield trying to work with Creed Cooper on an event to promote both of their businesses. They can't stand each other but the chemistry between them is red hot and before they know it they're expecting a baby. I enjoyed the relationship between these two and appreciated how they worked together to find solutions that were best for each of them. Recommended.

An enemies-to-lovers story on the backdrop of Christmas on a vineyard with a baby on the way. This literally ticks all the boxes of a feel-good romance. Something with a steamy happy ending to make you feel good about love and the holidays! Would recommend!

This is a love hate relationship. But for me the hate seemed to be more prevalent in this romance.

Hero and heroine cannot stand each other.

Continual fighting and bickering between the two MC.

But deep down they are attracted to each other. They are forced to work together.

They give into their attraction and there are ramifications.

Wren is determined to raise the child but Creeds past will not allow him to be an absent Father. So the two work on figuring out what each roll the other will play and what their future will look like.

I usually like Maisy Yates books but I struggled with this one. I found the dialogue and interaction between the two muddled and confusing during certain points of the story. Especially the dislike they displayed for each others. It made the characters unlikeable during some of these scenes. This one was a miss for me. But I will continue reading MY books as this is not the norm for her.

I received an ARC through NetGalley in exchange for an honest review and I want to thank them for it. I so much wanted to like this since the blurb caught my attention but unfortunately the MCs annoyed me for a good portion of the story.

It started out from first page with Hero telling us what he didn’t like about heroine and how she wasn’t his type but he still lusted after her – even though he hated her. Then on an on it went how different they were and how they didn’t mesh well together, etc.

While I like some angst in my stories, having the couple I’m supposed to be routing for loathing & bickering at each other so much of the story killed it for me. I have small children who have tantrums all the time. Did not need to read about Adults have tantrums as well so I skimmed a lot unfortunately…
So this was just a “me” thing. Do pick it up and read it if you like an enemies to lovers theme…

An intense sexual story. Both Wren and Creed hate the sight of each other. But they both cannot deny the attraction that they have for each other. When a night spent resulted in Wren getting pregnant, creed give no option to wren. It is all about marriage for them. Due to his past, he tried to ensure that he play a big role in his future child upbringing. Wren not knowing anything about his past, is determine to raise the child alone. But Can she?

Passionate, hot romance from a consistently great storyteller. It's hard not to enjoy her work. And it's great when an author truly nails the enemies to lovers storyline.

Maisey Yates at her absolute best. It’s hard to top your own creative art but in the latest installment in Gold Valley Vineyards Maisey Yates does just that. The positive – negative charge between her two staring characters Wren Maxfield and Creed Cooper. The static in the air is unmistakable and very telling when ever these two are in the same room. Add to that their undeniable distaste and dare we say hatred for one another. Both part of families that are competitors in the field of wines. Both families seem to have history which has made them enemies. But Maisey Yates is going to try to make those boundaries disappear. It just may take a miracle or magic. Maisey Yates has her work cut out for her and we are just along for the ride. And it is going to be a fun ride for sure.
Gold Valley is a place that has been the setting for many stories written by Maisey Yates. The Vineyard collection is sort of a subset of a really wonderful collection of tales.
I always leave a Maisey Yates book thinking I have just met my most favorite characters and then still another one or two pop up. Such is the case with Wren Maxfield and Creed Cooper. Both have been left hurt and trying to find new paths to follow in their life. Creed Cooper’s dad has just never got over the death of his beloved wife. The Cooper children have adjusted in their own way. Wren Maxfield’s father is now in prison. Never a really doting compassion dad Wren’s father became a monster in her eyes. The family has to live with the harsh legacy left by a man whose life became one of notoriety and shame. Wren’s siblings are also coping with this drastic change in their family.
In CLAIMING THE RANCHERS HEIR we find both Wren and Creed joining forces – so to speak – to bring their vineyard businesses more success. Since both are amazing business people they each bring something special to their joint endeavor. Wren is initially surprised at how professional Creed is in this business. She doesn’t see him as much more than a rough around the edges, rather uneducated lout. Sexy and good looking for sure but not her type. Time here for a chuckle.
Creed views Wren as uptight as a stepford princess. Actually not that far off from the way Wren and her sisters were brought up. But there is something that keeps catching his eye when they have to be a close contact. Creed is determined not to act on any attraction. He has learned his lesson. However, sometimes it is impossible to not react to an attractive stimulus and Wren is that in spades.
So CLAIMING THE RANCHERS HEIR begins with these two realizing that this attraction doesn’t need to be ignored as long as it doesn’t affect their business relationship. Well that all sounds good on paper.
You need to experience CLAIMING THE RANCHERS HEIR on your own. So I won’t give away much of the plot. CLAIMING THE RANCHERS HEIR is a wonderful story written by an author who has become one of my favorites. Wren and Creed are two wonderful characters. Maisey Yates created them with so much love and thought – I am sure you will agree.
