Not really sure what this book was trying to do or say. That you can and should rely only on yourself? While there was a good tip to always go for respect and compassion, I'm not really sure what else the author was trying to say throughout. It felt like whatever advice he did have to share was buried (really deep!) in recollections about his life and his past. I'd been expecting this to be more a guide to helping you harness the power of one, but the author does a muddled job of even explaining the concept, let alone point you in the direction to achieve this aim

Down to earth, open, honest and tells it like it is. There's a lot of realism here. Inspiring at the same time it is motivating.
