Eris, the goddess of strife and discord, is the perfect epitome of this memoir by Courtney Ramm. She is considered to be the perfect example of female empowerment. According to the introduction, "Eris represents the feminine warrior spirit, rising to reclaim her place in a world long fractured by patriarchal power. Eris, in all her mighty glory, comes to set things straight, to balance the scales."

Eris Rising tells the story of Courtney during an 18-month period in her life. She had met Marcus, and despite multiple red flags, she became embroiled in a relationship with him. Throughout the book, Courtney reminds us that she saw all the red flags, but ignored them despite her knowing what they were.

If you enjoy reading memoirs, please consider buying Eris Rising. It is easily one of my favorites that I've read. Again, the reading seems a little fractured, but in the end it will all make sense. Please let me know below if you've read this book and what you thought!

Courtney's story and writing is excellent, as she tells her story of moving across the country to build her dream business, which is interrupted by an intense love story. The book was very interesting and almost read like a work of fiction, but was a bit disorganized and long-winded.
