No More Yesterday's A Rock Star Romance (Rocked in Love Book 2)
by Jessica Marlowe

The second part of a trilogy following the unfolding new romance of Jack and Emily and what are the trials of dating a rock star whilst the band is on a big tour - the ex girlfriends stalkers etc.

The books involves more characters in this book alongside the band and how they all deal with the dark side of fame.

A well written book though I’m personally not fond of this type of series. I suppose I’m just too impatient to find out the ultimate outcome but still one more to go. Bear in mind tthis is just my personal reading choice but series like this type seem to be very in vogue at the moment . 3.5/5

Thank you to NetGalley for providing a copy of the book for review! This was an interesting sequel to book 1. While I enjoyed the plot line and character growth of Emily and Jack, the constant smut really detracted from the storyline. I’m all for escapism from reality but it just felt like way too much sex and not enough focus on the plot. I’m looking forward to reading book 3 (All your tomorrow’s) and seeing how Jack and Emily’s story ends!

This is the second book in this series, and after loving the first instalment so much, I couldn't wait to dive into this one!
Emily and Jack are still adjusting to, and working on, their newly formed relationship. Jack is just about to set off on tour, but he has no doubts about his relationship with Emily. However Emily does harbour some doubts, and she has to learn to trust again.

I couldn't put this book down, and found it so enjoyable to read. The characters grow on me more with every chapter, and the storyline is exciting and full of twists.

Rockstar romances are without a doubt one of my favorites. I live for rock concerts. I love the energy they produce. I’ve made it a point to give my kids the gift and magic of music. Which is why I read and reviewed this series that perfectly captures the essence of a rock concert.

Jessica Marlowe is a new to me author, but I was intrigued by this rock trilogy’s synopsis and covers. No More Yesterdays is book #2 of the Rocked in Love trilogy that picks up where “With You” left off having Jack trying to incorporate Emily into his life.

After Emily found out about her cheating fiancée, she’s dragged by her best friend to a rock concert where the infamous Jack McBride zeros in on her and instantly falls in love. The first part of their story is a series of ups and downs between the two where Jack finally convinces Emily to give them a chance.

In this installment Jack patiently tries to cement their relationship even though there are many obstacles in his way: a looming world tour, Emily’s ex who he’s convinced wants her back and a stalker who is threatening Emily’s safety.

As with the first book, No More Yesterdays captures the rock lifestyle well, and has Jack as an incredibly swoony and patient hero. Yet Emily was a difficult character to like. I was also a bit bothered by the many, many supporting characters with innocuous subplots.

I feel invested in this couple and would like to see them both happy. All Your Tomorrows (great title by the way) is the last in the series.

4 Stars for this rockstar romance!

Jack and Emily's story continues in this book. I loved Jack ... he's so caring and just wants to be with Emily and tries to please her. He is definitely not the usual rockstar. But it just seems that Emily is never happy ... she actually makes me kinda mad! Then I guess a person doesn't change their whole life for someone you've only known a couple of months. I like the mystery of the stalker and there is Emily's ex adding to the story. Then there's the steamy scenes ... and there are lots of them and they are very well written!

I know that a lot of people don't like that there are so many characters in the book, but I actually don't mind it. Then again, I'm reading the books one after the other, if there was time between reading the books it would probably get confusing and hard to remember who was who. I am diving right into the next book so I can find out the end to Jack and Emily's story.

I received a copy courtesy of BooksGoSocial through NetGalley in exchange for a honest review.

I found this book more of a filler book. There was a continuation of a story line from book 1 (the stalker) but even that was scarce. There were lots of characters and lots of storylines that didn’t really go anywhere.
However, I stuck with it and thankfully book 3 was better!
Thank you for the opportunity to read this book.

I received a complimentary copy of Jessica Marlowe's Rocked in Love Series including With You, No More Yesterdays, and All your Tomorrows in exchange for an honest review.

Pros-Writing Style was well done, and had several good themes. There was drama, trauma, alcohol/drug abuse/family life/bedroom scenes, stalking, and everything in between,

Cons-Way too many characters, side themes, and just filler stories that went no where (I could care less how many breakfasts Em and Jack ate together and what types of food they ordered or made- this whole series contained examples like this). I also felt like the author kept going repeating the same themes over and over,

Opinion: One book could have covered the entire series and did this series more justice. Since Book 2 & 3 were just continuations, of book 1 and not spin off characters, I found myself skimming the last two books, and I'm pretty sure I didn't miss anything. I will admit the finale in Book 3 brought me to the finish line, and left me with a good lasting impression.

No more yesterday’s returns where book one left off and Jack and Em are trying to get it together. This book they have to fave quite a few different issues including touring and so much more. We get more of the band, the stalker, and ex’s of Jack. Emily is making strides to accept Jacks feelings. It was good an I enjoyed it

This book is the second installment in this series. It helps build the relationship between Jack and Emily that started in book one. Jack has a stalker that wants Emily out of the way. It leaves you wondering if their relationship will survive. I received a ARC of this book in return for my honest review.

The perfect follow up to the cliffhanger in Book 1. No longer just experiencing a whirlwind romance, No More Yesterdays shows the characters actually developing a more meaningful relationship. They deal with the dark side of fame this time around along with Emily finally addressing the pain of her past relationship and how it has affected her and Jack. We see both Emily and Jack leaning on those around them more than in Book 1. The secondary characters provide a layer of compassion and comedic relief.

It was a devastating loss…
…and she needed her friends more than ever.
Would it be enough?
I had a hard time getting into this one after I couldn’t finish the first one. DNF

Book 2 of 3
In this the second book of the trilogy, Jack and Emily are still working on their relationship. We pick up about a week later as Jack is leaving for a long tour. We are getting more backstory as friends are more than a mention. Jack is still all in, while Emily is more conservative and working through her past and learning to trust. Can she be in a relationship with a world-famous rock star? The time apart, the stalker…..

Thank you to NetGalley and the Author for the advanced copy for my honest review.

Continuation of book 1. A bit repititous and it felt a little cluunky. I lost patience with Emily. Jack had the patience of a saint.

Final book in the series, I enjoyed this book this should have been book 2 faster pace, good plot and real characters, love shines through.....eventually.

This is book 2 in the rockstar series following Jack, the rock star, and Emily, his love. Jack is wonderful- caring and loving, he fully admits how much he loves her and he has real stars in his eyes. Emily is really wishy washy and I feel like her hesitancy dragged. The story felt long and was full of details and maybe too many details. However, I thought that many aspects of the story (Watching his stalked unravel, dealing with the issues associated with being famous, and being apart for extended periods of time) were well done and interesting. I guess I was just thinking that 3 books could likely have been fit into 2 books if it moved along a little more smoothly!

I bought and read the first book of the series from amazon and received a copy of this book from NetGalley. I'm looking forward to reading the final book to hopefully get at the final HEA.

It's been a whirlwind romance for Jack and Emily after meeting at one of Jack's concerts just a week ago. Whilst Jack has jumped off the deep end and fallen head over heels in love with Emily, she is a little more practical. How can she date a rock star? especially one who is only just started a world tour with his band.

Join them as they navigate through the early days of their relationship. From Jack wanting to include her in all areas of his life including meeting his family, scheduling time together and relocating back to New York. Whilst Emily is still overcoming past tragedies, history with her ex and learning to trust again. If that weren't enough there is the added issue of Jack's stalker, who has decided that she needs Jack in her life and will stop at nothing to get her way.

The second segment in a trilogy - originally one large 1200 page book now split over three books. Which is obvious when it comes to the end of the book as you are only partway into their journey.
