This is by far the best book in the series. From the vibrant book cover, to the words written between the pages, Ms. Elliot has created a world full of fun and friendships, which also includes a bit of mystery and intrigue.
Addie has always had a tumultuous relationship with bakery owner Martha Stringer, but when Martha finders herself start the top of the suspect list, she has no choice but to depend on Addie to solve the mystery surrounding the death of her granddaughter’s father.
Lies, secrets and murder fill the pages of this book, and you will find yourself reading late into the night.

I am really looking forward to reading the next book in this fantastic series.

Addie owns a bookstore and lives in a beautiful Victorian house. My dream.
While going to work one morning a friends dog runs to get her. Her friend is laying under a ladder in the snow.
Addie ends up dog sitting.
Of coarse, she stumbles across a body behind her store and her neighbor store.
She can't help, but get involved.
Then a rare book goes missing.
Despite being told to stay out of it she noses into it
Addie and Simon are cute together. Paige and her daughter are sweet.

This is the best book in the series, bar none! A murder, a missing high valued item and secrets have the wonderful makings of a riveting book that keeps you on your toes and guessing who done it all the way until the killer is revealed.

The book's plot was very well written and laid out. It kept me reading all day and well into the night. The characters, especially Addie, are a joy to visit with. I cannot wait to visit again sometime soon!
