I live for tropes like this, there's something about them that just gets me! This book was a really nice read.

The Billionaire Prince’s Single Mother By Leslie North

Aldon, the middle son, of the king and who plays by the rules constantly trying to get his father’s approval. Aldon escapes to the countryside to his castle after his jilted engagement wanting peace to lick his wounds. Unfortunately Piper, who is responsible for the day today running of the castle and grounds is not expecting him. So a few sparks fly as he arrives so unexpectedly.

It is an easy quick book to read and is the third book in this series and I have read the second novel. I do feel this is not Leslie North’s best series to date.

However the star in the book by far is livewire Willow who is Pipers 5 year old daughter.

3.5/5

The Billionaire Prince's Single Mother is the third book in the series. I read all of them, but you could read it as a stand-alone.

Aldon was betrayed by his fiancé, he left to spend some time alone at his estate in Thistledown. He was finished with his fiance. He didn't want her anymore after what she did.

Aldon expected to arrive at his estate and be alone. He didn't realize his house and ground keeper lived there with her daughter. Piper and her four-year-old daughter Willa was just as surprised to see Aldon arrive, she wasn't given any notice. Piper and Aldon have an instant attraction, but Aldon has no experience with children.
They also have a big problem with the King, Aldon's father, he wants him back with his fiancé.

Will Aldon be able to stand up to the King and find true happiness? A fantastic book, easy to get lost in. I loved the storyline and all the characters.

ARC provided by Netgalley in exchange for an honest review.

Leslie North consistently brings great characters and passionate romance to life. As a big fan of North's, her name provokes an automatic one-click from me. I am always entertained. Highly recommend.

This is the last book in the series and we have prince Aldon. Recently suffering a broken engagement he’s off to his castle to recover and get his ex out of his house. What he never expects to find is his new future.

Piper is a single mother who takes care of the castle and grounds. Her daughter Willa is a sweet girl who knows no other home. What will he do with his new found desire ?

There are issues in town and he will have to make a choice between his heart and his duties. Will he survive the choice?

It was good and I enjoyed it quite a bit.

Omg Willow sounds like the cutest little girl! Piper is a strong woman who is a single mother. Aldon being a prince who always followed the rules and kept wanting to make his dad proud.. Feeling like somewhat like an outsider.... But even he wasn't any match for Willow lol...

This novella caught my attention and made me wonder if really that happily ever after was possible for me after all
Piper is a caretaker and gardener for Thistledown Castle, the country retreat of Prince Aldon who has come to escape the press following his breakup with his fiancé
I loved Piper, she is a strong woman who has survived much disappointment in her life with her father and then the father of her daughter Willa leaving her. Despite this and with the help of her mother she had become resilient and able to cope with most things thrown her way, she is also a very patient and loving mother which makes her even more likeable
Aldon isn’t sure what to expect when he gets to the castle but it definitely isn’t Piper and he isn’t sure about Willa to start with either. I did like Aldon and it was really good to see him develop as a character and find out what he really wants from his life, what actually matters to him. His relationship with Willa undergoes a huge change and he accepts her and starts to enjoy spending time with her, a huge difference from his behaviour to start with.
I think that Piper had a huge impact on Aldon and it’s because of her he looks inwards and realises that he needs to do things that make him happy (which includes spending time with Piper)
I would recommend this book to those who enjoy a romance with characters who are willing to fight for what they believe in and who you will adore

I have not read the earlier books in this series, but that did not interfere with my ability to follow the story or enjoy this book. I really enjoyed Aldon and Piper's relationship because it wasn't filled with dramatics. Due to the length of the book it does happen a little quickly, but I like to think of it more as a story of two people just fitting together so easily rather than a relationship squeezed into a shorter story. Aldon's father came around a little too quickly, but I guess by the time your third child is choosing a woman you don't find suitable maybe you just stop complaining. I'm not a fan of the plot of breaking up just to have a big romantic reunion, but at least with this one it was resolved fairly quickly.

Thanks to NetGallery and the publishers for this ARC.

I really enjoyed this fairy tale. Love what an easy read it was, if you’re busy but want a read on hands you can get through quick this is great.

Prince aldon breaks off his engagement to a vain cheating woman, goes back home and sets eyes on the help of the house. Piper also feels the same way about their first meet.
So first for a while, mid story they have sex and are all in so quickly. I was super surprised how quick their chemistry was but I liked it. So they break up because he has issues with saying no to his father and his father disapproves of the appearance of him dealing with a lower class. I’m glad that it’s didn’t take that long for him to fight for her and warmed my heart that the brothers supported it and eventually his father do the same. So happily ever after they end up together.
I was happy that this tale didn’t have too much sexual scenes it can get repetitive.
Also I enjoyed the characters they didn’t annoy me at all by going back and forth and being rude and stubborn.

This is such an easy book to read! I felt like once I’d picked it up, I could pick it up whenever I had a minute and still be hooked. It is such an easy read. I love Piper, I think she is a likeable character and you are just willing for her to get her happy ending from the beginning!

Third and last in this series. Not my favorite series. Very light read, the characters have no real depth. If quick and easy is your forte, grab this one.

What a sweet read this was. Nothing like a quick and easy read to pass the time on a cold wet day.
The storyline for me was mediocre and actually a bit unremarkable; however, as I said it was a quick read

This is an easy to read fairytale. A prince and his groundskeeper.

Aldon is looking for solace in the country, away from his recent disappointment. He intends to catch up on his reading and have peace and quiet.

Piper is a single mother who just happens to be the groundskeeper. She takes good care of the castle as well as she does the grounds. She is content with her current life.

Not expecting Aldon to be at the castle, she is not prepared for his visit. After their first awkward encounter, they relax and start chatting. Aldon's mind is already working overtime about what could happen with Piper around. She is quite taken by his looks and feels an instant attraction to him. When her daughter Willa announces her presence in a wail, it brings them to their senses. Aldon isn't comfortable around children and his initial response is dampened by her appearance. As the story develops, all three become comfortable around each other and at some point Piper and Aldon begin to dream of their future. The King has other plans for his son. Will their dream come true or will Aldon put his royal duty before his happiness?

It's a good storyline, but everything happens so quickly that it's not so easy to connect to the characters. That said, Aldon and Piper are loving characters and Willa is a sweetheart. The happy ending makes it all worthwhile.

I received a complimentary copy from Netgalley and the views expressed are my personal opinion.

Piper's daughter, Willa, is by far my favorite character in this book. The questions that she asked in the comments that she makes are so childlike innocence that I loved it. Aldon's and Piper's love story is that a fairy tales.

I literally devored this book !!

I love this series and I couldn't not read the last book of it !!

Aldon is the quiet prince, always done anything he could to please his father, good grades, good behavior, doing anything his father asked.
But then, he'll meet Piper, who work in his castle, she enjoy gardening and she's the one taking care of his garden.
What he didn't expect was to meet this beautiful woman, but what he hadn't expect more, is that she wasn't there alone, her 5 years old daughter Willa, is there too !!
Aldon don't really like children, but Piper and Willa will grow on him.
Piper is a single mother, who take care of the garden at the prince's castle for the past 5 years. The moment she met him, she realised how handsome he is, and she have hope, hope that he'll help everyone in this little town, because people really need help.
The more time, they'll spend together, the more they'll learn how to appreciate and love each other.
But is it like in the book, only a fairy-tale or a real thing?

I feel sad, that this series came to an end, these princes grew on me, and I love them a lot !! This definitely won't be the last book I read from this author.

This was another good Leslie North book. It didnt take long to read and had lots of interesting things going on. Prince Aldon went to his other castle to get away from his broken engagement. He finds Piper and her daughter living there. He isn't fond of kids and they get off to a rocky start. As they get to know each other, her little girl grows on him and he loves them both. He does need to stand up to his father first before they can be together. A good story with lots of love
