John Edgar Wideman is an acclaimed storyteller for a reason! Philadelphia Fire traces the bombing of a West Philadelphia home owned by a Black liberation group. The bombing killed eleven people, set 60 other houses on fire, and ignited a series of repercussions.

I’m sure this story would resonate best with Philadelphians but it’s something everyone can learn from.
