This book was an eye opener for me and I had to do a lot of hard shelf reflection many of the days. It was very healing and helped so much. I was hooked from the start and very thankful I was able to work through the 180 days.

Forgiveness is something I struggle with. While I haven't read this cover to cover, I did find it helpful to remind myself I am worthy.

I want to thank the author and NetGalley for gifiting me this ebook. Wow oh wow. I loved this book so much. As Christian's it is just so hard to forgive people that has done us wrong. To me this is the hardest thing Christian's should and have to do. This book is so informative and just gives you such amazing advice. Every Christian should read this. I will be reading this over and over again.

I really felt like this book was such a good read and touched on very current topics and themes facing our world today and how we can turn it all over to God through prayer. Loved these prayers and devotions! Especially in a world filled with hate, this is what kind of book is needed. Thank you to NetGalley and Barbour Books for a copy of this book for an honest review.

GOD CALLS YOU FORGIVEN was sent to me by Net Galley, free of charge, in exchange for my honest review.
Barbour Books, an imprint of Barbour Publishing, published GOD CALLS YOU FORGIVEN. It was written by Anita Wigman and Janice Thompson. It is a Christian non-fiction book of “180 devotions and prayers to inspire your soul”.
As I began reading this devotional, I enjoyed that each devotion began with a short contemporary story and then applied it to obedience in the Word. Each day begins with a memory verse. Then, there is the short devotion. After each devotion is a daily prayer.
When we finish the 180 devotions and prayers there is a Scripture Index, showing where each devotion/memory verse can be found in the Bible.
I recommend this devotional to anyone who is looking for something short to use to begin each day in the Scriptures – alone time with God. I believe it would also make a nice gift.

I am reviewing a copy of God Calls You Forgiven through Barbour Publishing, Inc, and Netgalley:

We live in a world, a culture that fills our head and heart about our value in the world. But there is One who calls you forgiven. The good news is he can be trusted, because his word is truth.

This book reminds us as a society we have seen every kind of divisive hate speech, and spiritual folly, which includes those who would like us to think that we don’t need forgiveness for our sins.

We are reminded too that we can’t take on the burdens of all those we love, nor is it our place, we need to give those burdens to Christ.

It is pointed out too that People toss around the word faith like spiritual confetti. We are reminded too that forgiveness frees you up to forgive others, even the ones you’re sure you’ll never be able to forgive.

This devotional will encourage and inspire your soul with truths that are deeply rooted in God’s word. Each devotional reading and heartfelt prayer will assure you that you are truly forgivenbecause God says so.

I give God Calls You Forgiven five out of five stars!

Happy Reading!

The premise of this devotional was what grabbed my attention. Then I read the intro and knew I was in for a treat. Written at a simple and straightforward level, these reflections on forgiveness will encourage you and lighten your heart. A short title, followed by a Scripture passage and short reflection offer various thoughts, truths and perspectives related to forgiveness. This would make a sweet devotional for a young reader or someone new to the faith. I received a complimentary copy of this book from the publisher via NetGalley. All opinions expressed are my own and freely given.
