I love a good thriller! What a great read! Definitely had some Lisa Jewell vibes, but I felt this was a great read! If you love a good domestic thriller, this one is for you!!

Whew my head is still spinning from this book! It starts with a dead husband and both his ex wife and current wife, are covered in his blood. But which one killed him and why? What happens next is the author takes you on a thrill ride with ups and downs and possibly TWO unreliable narrators. Did Louise kill him out of spite from her ex husband Andrew divorcing her for a younger woman? Or was it Caz? The current wife who struggles with jealousy and trust issues. Both women have plenty to be mad about, but which one is mad enough to murder? I’ve never read anything by this author, but I am very excited to read what comes next! The writing style, the twists, and everything in between have put this author on my radar for future reads!

What a book! From the very first chapter you know it’s going to be one of those books that you just can’t put down- turning page after page, both anxious to get to the end and simultaneously always wanting more. Well done.

An interesting premise and an author who shows great promise. I did enjoy it and felt the suspense was just right. I was hoping for a slightly stronger twist but overall, it was good.

Wow!!! This book had me hooked from the first paragraph. The story is a character driven thriller with so many unexpected twists, I was literally breathless with anticipation until the very last page. Louise and Caz are at the mercy of their unstable emotions and feelings for an undeserving man. Andrew is at the center of this toxic love triangle that ends in murder. Who is guilty of killing their obsession? I both loved and hated the suspects as the story unfolded. The characters were expertly crafted while motives came to the surface and lives were changed forever. This is a must read for all thriller addicts.

I thought this was a twisty turny ride, and I enjoyed every second! I felt like it pulled from common tropes while having a story all its own. Very unique in the space.

Great book! Couldn’t wait to read it, and it didn’t disappoint! Grabbed my attention within the first two chapters, and then I didn’t want to put it down. Excellent character development - I think that every reader will find a character to whom they relate. I enjoy books where there is character development, and then also a surprise, and this book provided both! Looking forward to reading more from this author!

I was approved for this title after publication so I listened to it in audio format. The ramp up to the action is slow and plodding but pacing and psychological twists come appreciably faster as the novel continues. Did NOT catch the twist in the end.

I don’t generally need to like characters in a book, how we I can’t say I’d want to sit down for a Snack with any of the people in this book. Andy was wayward and reprehensible and the women in his life were insecure and self absorbed. I suppose that’s what real people are made of, though ?

A decent read.

This thriller sets the new young trophy wife against the ex-wife. Enter the husband and all three at a family event and you have a catastrophe.. I have to admit that I found the twists and turns in this novel predictable and a bit boring. There was little character development and story build-up. I was hoping for more and sadly disappointed. What a way to start off the new year. I loved this book. The multiple POVs with the occasional police interview thrown in was great. I was sent on a wild ride trying to figure out whose story to believe. In the end, that is what I loved most about the story. Highly recommend!

What a dark and twisty read! I loved how the author alternated between the points of view of Caz and Louise. Both women were present and covered in blood standing over their dead husband's body. Which one killed him, the current wife or the ex-wife? The author wastes no time bringing twists and turns. I highly recommend this one!

Fast paced, completely gripping and more twists than a pretzel! This book was so much fun I just could not put it down!

Two women feud over one charming man, one had been married to him for over a decade and the other is the new wife. What makes their relationship strange is that the 1st wife's mother invites the exhusband and new wife to their party on an island, where he is murdered. In between tensions build and someone is bound to snap, but is it one of them? Where he had so many females who absolutely swoon over him, the reader really learns to not like his character. Almost all of the characters in this book were unlikeable in their own ways honestly, and it made for a very interesting read. This book absolutely messes with your mind and just when you think you have it figured out, it takes another twisted turn. I was able to figure out who the killer really was before the end of the story because as the saying goes "Keep your friends close but your enemies closer". I won't ruin it, but just be prepared for a helluva good read if you are into thrillers.

The Page family is dysfunctional, so much so, reading this book felt a little stressful! These people weave such a tangled web that I kept changing what I believed about the characters. There was more than one character that really rubbed me the wrong way, and I knew someone was lying, but couldn’t figure out who. I was able to figure out the twists early on, but it was still a really great read!

What amazing book! The plot was implacable . The way the story was written was excellent. easy to read. very well developed characters. it is a book that keeps you in suspense until the end.

Oh this one was so so good. I went into it not expecting much and Stimson blew me away! I have read other books by this author that I have enjoyed, but this one jumped to the top of my list! Such a interesting premise, full of twists and turns. Highly recommend!

I had high hopes for this book, but it was just too predictable for me. I am incredibly disappointed.
