A twisty thriller. Ben has no idea what's going to happen when he meets Bella. He thinks she's perfect. Not. No spoilers from me for this one. Thanks to Netgalley for the ARC.

Wow this was one I did not see the ending coming! This was so fast paced and kept me hooked from the beginning. I thought I knew what was going on but boy was I wrong.

I started out liking this one very much. Bitch - I mean, Bella. Well, Bella was a piece of work. Nasty thing, but I did enjoy reading her. And there was a huge surprise that I simply didn't see coming.

But the 2nd half of the book went nuts. We suddenly went from one main POV to one bajillion. I guess it was a way to tell the story, but we switched back and forth through so many POVs that it was dizzying.

And characters I was okay with in the beginning were sort of muted by the end. Bella-Bitch took over the book. Which is okay unless we have to read the thoughts of every single character.

Overall fun - it just got messy in a not-s0-good way by the end.

This is a good page gripper. While written in 3rd person narrative that doesn’t take away from the story while also adding in some first person POV.

There are some good twists and ending to to match. It’s worth giving this book a go and gifting it to those that love these kind of engaging thrillers.

Ben can’t believe his luck when Bella walks into his life, just when he needs her most. Sexy, impulsive and intelligent, Bella is everything he ever wanted. And Bella wants him. All to herself.

I enjoyed the beginning of this book, but found it just to hard to believe the father wouldn’t say, or do something to protect his son. I mean really! How could it have ever gotten so far.

The main character is absolutely awful and the author did a great job of writing her. You definitely are rooting for justice by the end of the book and, to me, that means the author did a good job of telling the story.

This book was fast paced and filled with drama. The book is told in 4 parts. Part 1 really pulled me in but part 2 was told from a different pov and it didn't keep my interest as much. There were a lot of twists and turns that kept me engaged.

She has all the makings of a fantastic novel, but it gell short for me. Part 1 was interesting and pulled me in, but Part 2 failed to keep my interest.

Thank you to the Author, Publisher and NetGalley for an ARC of this book.

I absolutely did NOT like this book. Bella was a horrible person to say the absolute least! The second part of the book was not needed as it just retold the first part but from a different POV.

Ben is grieving the end of a long-term relationship when he meets Bella. She is gorgeous and he cannot
believe his luck. After dating for only a short time, she is pregnant and next comes marriage. But his friends and family are skeptical of Bella and her motives as Ben begins to pull away. It gets to the point where she convinces him they are better just the three of them as a family. But she is evil, that is all I can say!

Wow! Bella is definitely a Villan and one to hate. She is manipulative, selfish and has no boundaries. I thought the first 1/3 and last 1/3 was good. I struggled with the middle when the POV was from Bella -
it felt very repetitive of the beginning with minor changes here and there from her perspective. All in all, this was a quick read full of twists I did not see coming and worth checking out.

I liked this book but I feel the ending was rushed and things weren't really resolved just kind of brushed under the rug. Overall it was an interesting read.

Part 1 of She pulled me in. The premise is intriguing and I was interested in seeing where the story would go. Part 2 was told from a different POV. It was very repetitive and redundant. The remainder of the book didn’t hold my interest as much as I had hoped. Although I was still somewhat attentive, it read like a mediocre Lifetime movie. She has one of the most despicable characters I have encountered and a host of frustrating characters as well. Character motivations are weak and some are nonsensical. The story is full of “what if’s ” and “ if onlys.” The best word I can use to describe She is FRUSTRATING! “What they didn’t know wouldn’t hurt them”, NOT! I would give Part 1 ⭐️⭐️⭐️, but because the rest of the book didn’t live up to the promising beginning, ⭐️⭐️.
Thank you NetGalley and Harper 360 for my ARC.

Thanks to Netgalley for the opportunity to read this awesome book.

It was a wild ride and the ending was perfection.

Bella, gorgeous on the outside but wicked and vile on the inside, manipulates her way to revenge. The author did a great job of making me hate her.

The characters were clearly defined in their roles, not overly detailed, nor overly simplified. Just perfect.

I can’t say enough good things about this book and I highly recommend it. Excellent beach read or even a rainy day read. Can’t wait to see what this author comes up with next.

This was a real page turned. It was different because it was from the male perspective, which I hadn't expected. it to be that way. Bella at the beginning seems to be the perfect daughter in law. The lies just continue to draw you in as the book progresses constantly keeps you guessing page after page. It was a quick read because you didn't want to put it down. Great job on detail and well written!

You have to be careful who you love especially a person who has a hidden agenda. Not everything is as it seems. This book was well written and fast paced.

4 stars. I have never read a book where the female is the abuser in a relationship. Twists and turns and some unexpected. Complicated family ties, as well as plenty of drama. Page turner for sure! Thank you to NetGalley’ and the publisher for the ARC in exchange for an honest review.

Reading Between the Wines book review #22/115 for 2021:
Rating: 3.5 🍷 🍷 🍷 (rounded to 4)
Book: She
Author: HC Warner
Genre: General Fiction (Adult) | Mystery & Thrillers | Romance
RELEASED ON January 23, 2021!!! Get your copy!

Sipping Synopsis: Ben meets a gorgeous woman perfectly named Bella. Bella is typically out of Ben’s league, but she seems to be very interested him as well. At first things seems to be going well then Bella begins to isolate Ben from his friends and family. Then something happens that changes everything for Ben, Bella, and those close to them.

Final sipping thoughts: This book is broken up into 4 parts. Part One was so engaging and suspenseful that I couldn’t put it down. Part Two brings one of the first twist/reveals which really surprised me. Unfortunately, part two was also told in a different POV and completely repeated the entire first part but from the new POV. While this new POV was needed to gain clarity on what was going on, I wish it wasn’t the exact series of events repeated. Parts Three and Four slowed down a little bit but also brought on the
C-R-A-Z-Y! It made me feel bad that I didn’t feel bad for the victim in the story but I just wanted them to try and speak up for themselves. The end of the story was quick and not what I expected but I was okay with the ending. I think She is a book that will make you want to punch someone then call someone else to talk about what just happened.

Cheers and thank you to @NetGalley and @Harper360 for an advanced copy of @She
