What I really liked about this devotional was that there was plenty of space for reflection. Filled with short & sweet devotions & prompts that work well with the daily devotion. I do wish there were more illustrations because as a mom of a young boys they usually get drawn in to books with color & illustrations but that's the only thing I would criticize about this book.

I love every single one of the "Brave Boy" books that Barbour has published and this one is no exception! As a mom of two boys, I am beyond pleased with the messaging. I think it's relatable, true, impactful and points the reader back to the Lord as their Source of strength and courage. Major applause for these books -THANK YOU!

This book was perfect for my son it gives him a lesson based on the Bible with scripture. It then asks him to look on he’s own relationship with God and apply the lesson. It teaches him to pray to him. I loved this devotional.

This is a devotional journal with a scripture and then small writing prompt. I'd like to see longer prompts with more substance as this mostly just leaves lines for kids to write on.
