"Christmas in Evergreen: Tidings of Joy: by Nancy Naigle is a delightful holiday read that is sure to bring warmth to the heart of any reader. The story takes place in the charming town of Evergreen, Vermont, where the spirit of Christmas is alive and well. The characters, Katie and Ben, are both likable and relatable, and their growing relationship is sweet and heartwarming.

The small-town atmosphere of Evergreen is captured perfectly, making the reader feel as if they too are part of the community. The character’s connection to the town, and their love of its traditions, creates a sense of nostalgia that will appeal to anyone who has ever experienced the magic of a small town at Christmas. The inclusion of the recipe for Cranberry Crostini makes you feel as though you too are part of the festivities.

The story is well-paced, with just enough mystery and drama to keep you engaged, while not detracting from the heartwarming holiday romance. The themes of love, community, and the importance of traditions are woven throughout the book, making it a touching and uplifting read.

"Christmas in Evergreen: Tidings of Joy" is a must-read for anyone looking for a holiday-themed romance novel. The delightful characters, charming small-town setting, and heartwarming romance make this book even better than the movie!

Wonderful holiday story to read. Great characters to follow along in this Christmas story. Katie and Ben are great characters. There may be a few twists and turns and maybe an unexpected event happens. Great story to read at christmas. Or anytime of the year. Feel good and heartwarming.

This book was such a cute read. The characters were so great. I'm praying and hoping that Hallmark will make a movie based on the book. This book was such a good book. I'd def recommend this book to anyone that likes Hallmark movies and clean romance books. ♥️

Thank you to netgalley, Hallmark publishing and the author for letting me read this book.

My first Nancy Naigle book and I wasn't sure what to expect. I'm so glad I got a chance to read this. It was such a cute, feel-good Christmas story, So sweet and fluffy. I didn't realize it was based on a Hallmark movie, that makes so much sense! I thoroughly enjoyed this story.

Cute Christmas time romance book. I felt in love with Evergreen and it's residents. I love Vermont and I love that small town feeling so I enjoyed reading this book. I saw that there's a movie too so I can't wait to watch it! The romance between the two main characters was a little blend but I enjoyed the rest of the story. I received a free digital copy of this book from NetGalley in exchange for my honest review

Another cozy visit to Evergreen! This was so enjoyable although I do think it would be a little harder to read if you weren't already familiar with the characters. I can't wait to see the movie!

I feel if Christmas were a book series, it would be the Christmas in Evergreen series because I feel that Nancy Naigle includes every possible Christmas idea, theme, symbol, tradition, activity, scenery, etc that you could possibly imagine and puts all of it into this series.

Christmas in Evergreen: Tidings of Joy by Nancy Naigle is another book in the wonderful, feel good Christmas series.

As always I enjoy the atmospheric setting, the delightful characters, and everything that Evergreen has to offer. I enjoy that each book builds on itself, but can be read as a standalone. In Tidings of Joy I especially love the theme of books and the time capsule.

While I do enjoy the movies and feel you could read or watch them to get the same effect, it has been a while since I have watched the series, so it was nice to be reminded why I enjoy this series so much and enjoy it in a different medium.

So sit down with some peppermint hot chocolate and enjoy Christmas in Evergreen: Tidings of Joy.

I received an eARC from Hallmark Publishing through NetGalley. All opinions are 100% my own.

It’s not quite Christmas in July yet but honestly, is there ever a bad time to cozy up with a Christmas book? I think it’s actually a testament to the wonderful writing in this book that I could pick it up in May and feel just as charmed by all the Christmastime feels as if I picked it up in those December days.

A quaint small town brimming with Christmas spirit, the loveliest group of unique and fun-loving characters, and a glistening story involving a little bit of romance, a passionate local, an “outsider” trying to figure out the root and reality of this seemingly over the top Christmas-loving town, and the year to discover a fifty-year-old time capsule... this book overflowed with heart and was a most delightful, feel-good story about the magic of Christmas. I will admit, elements to the story felt a bit, well, over the top and unbelievable... but isn’t that why you come to expect and love in a Hallmark-esque Christmas read? Christmas in Evergreen was an escape at its finest and makes you wish you could jump right into the traditions and happenings around you on every page. I smile at the snow globe on the cover because being inside of a snow globe and the magic it conveys is just what the reading experience feels like here. I highly recommend this to all my Christmas novel loving friends!

Thank you so much Hallmark Publishing and NetGalley for the gifted e-copy!

Another good story from Hallmark. I had seen the movie before reading the book, so that did make it a bit hard to read as I basically knew what was happening. My suggestion would be to either read it or watch, probably not both.

This novel was described as a Hallmark novel, and indeed it had all the makings of a great Hallmark film. Very enjoyable to read and I'm hoping for a sequel.

As with the other two books, Christmas traditions in the quaint small town make you wish that you could take a vacation and help decorate a tree or 5. Also, if you are longing for a Christmas feel-good moment any time of the year, this fits the bill very nicely!

There's also the main story of an author/journalist, Katie, who decides to take a trip to Evergreen to start writing her second novel. Instead, she gets caught up in the town's festivities because a 50-year old time capsule is waiting to be discovered and opened! Naturally (because it would not be a Hallmark movie/book if she didn't), she meets Ben. Ben is a born and raised Evergreen-ian, and he left for only a short amount of time to be a journalist in New York.

You can't go wrong with any of the Evergreen books when you need to fill yourself with Christmas cheer, romance and family/friendships galore. Nancy Naigle is amazing at capturing the same spirit you feel with the movies. I can only hope she is writing the fourth Evergreen book after the movie that just came out last December!

If you love the Christmas hallmark movies then you will love this book. Every page made me want to live in evergreen. It’s such a fun loving town that is totally obsessed with Christmas. It draws you in and makes you want to keep turning the page. I was super invested in the characters and wishing the best for them all.
The townsfolk find a humongous advent calendar and the whole town takes part. Everyday they gather in front of the calendar and open it. Each day has something for the whole town to do. It brings them all closer together and in the Christmas spirit.
The only thing I would change would be adding all 24 days in the book. So we get in on the fun as well. But I totally get why they aren’t in there. The book would be so much longer.
I appreciate the little bit of romance in the book, but that’s not the main concept!
Thanks to netgalley for an arc version.
