Welcome back to Evergreen! In this somewhat typical (but thoroughly enjoyable!) Hallmark Christmas story, Katie and Ben meet and learn to work together. Set in beautiful Vermont, this delightful easy read will hold your attention and keep you in the Christmas spirit! Fun, quick read.

A stand alone, third book of the Evergreen series, has us coming back to the Christmas town of Evergreen. Honestly, like stepping back a hundred years to where people aren't so hurried, have time to chat with everyone, and best of all carry forward the tradition of Christmas and its magic. The residents and visitors alike really get into the spirit of the season, though some visitors may be a tad skeptical, it's too beautiful and magical to stay a naysayer for long. So well written, I could picture it all, hear it, smell it, feel it and finally live it all, fully and happily.
Katie, a writer, came to Evergreen for a much needed recharge in her life. She meets Ben even before they arrive, who is an expert resident on Evergreen history. There's sparks between these two, and it was fun to watch them on their journey as I read along, meeting up again with familiar characters and meeting new. Surprises just waiting to be found.
I really enjoy all Ms. Naigle's Christmas stories, and Tidings of Joy definitely puts me in the Christmas spirit with a smile on my face and happiness in my heart.
A great clean story to beat away any blues, it gets into your heart.

This book will fill you with warm fuzzies for the Christmas season as read about the fun activities, stores, and people in Evergreen, Vermont. Katie is a writer looking for inspiration to write her second book. She is also caught up in Evergreen's Secret Christmas Time Capsule. I also liked Ben, who is another writer who lives in Evergreen. Katie and Ben just so happened to share a train ride from New York City to Evergreen, Vermont and there the fun begins. This is definitely a story that will bring a smile to your face and joy to your heart. I received an advance copy of this book and I willingly chose to write an honest review.

If you love The Hallmark Channel Christmas movies, then you’ll love this book! That’s because this book IS a Hallmark movie! I know it’s usually the book then the movie, but not this time! The book is nearly identical to the movie, just with a lot more details. I like that!

Christmas is Evergreen: Tidings of Joy is a romance between main characters Katie and Ben. They meet on the train headed to Evergreen. Katie is a writer based in NYC and Ben works at the library in Evergreen helping his Nan. Ben, however, used to be a writer in Chicago so these two have a lot in common. Their romance felt a little too insta-love for me, but i’ll over look it because it’s Christmastime and we all know Christmas is full of magic.

The town of Evergreen is picturesque and full of whimsy. They have a snow globe, that grants wishes, after all. The plot of this one revolves around the snow globe breaking, which catapults a series of events in order for the town discover and open the 50th anniversary time capsule. The time capsule ends up being a mural and an advent calendar.

Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️ This book is delightful! I fell is love with the town of Evergreen. It’s your typical small town where everyone is looking out for each other and is family!

I love all of the Evergreen stories. They are Christmas at it’s best. How much fun would it be to spend Christmas with the wonderful folks of Evergreen? These stories are wonderful and this one did not disappoint. I love everything about every movie and book I’ve read. Since watching the movies, I see the characters as they are in the movies. I bet you will too. If you love a great Christmas story, you’ll love this book. Enjoy the story of Ben and Katie. I received this book from NetGalley, but my opinion is my own.

Katie Connell is on her way to Evergreen, Vermont to hopefully get some inspiration for her next novel. When she meets a resident of the town, Ben on the train, and then arrives in town, she expresses her doubt that the town can be as wonderful as it. The more she sees, the more doubtful she is. Can people really be this wonderful? Is this town only a great marketing ploy?

Ben suggests that Katie immerse herself in the town’s festivities following up to Christmas to prove to her that Evergreen is all about Christmas, family, friends, and love. When Katie hears about a Christmas time capsule, she becomes intrigued. As she works to solve the mystery and gets to know the people in town, will Katie realize that this small town is exactly what it appears to be?

One of the attractions of the town is a treasured snow globe which is told to grant wishes. When the globe is broken, it helps Katie with the time capsule along with a possible love interest for one of the towns residents. There can never be too many love stories unfolding in this small town.

This was such a beautiful heartwarming Christmas story. I loved the character development and all the supporting characters in the book. The added mystery of a time capsule hidden in town added a fun little twist to the story. When I found out there were also three Hallmark movies that were based on the books, I quickly found those to watch as well. It was fun to watch the characters brought to life in a movie. The book can be read as a stand a lone novel, but as you fall in love with Evergreen you will want to read the entire series. Katie has come to Evergreen, Vermont for a vacation to start writing her second novel. She is so amazed at the Christmas spirit the town has and decides she really wants to write about it and all that there is to do and everyone who lives there.
She meets Ben on the train as she is on her way to Evergreen. And you just must read this wonderful book to find out what happens. The story is as wonderful as a cup of hot chocolate and a fuzzy blanket to snuggle into and enjoy.

I've loved the Hallmark Christmas In Evergreen film series but I've never read the books. I will be reading them after this.
Returning to Evergreen, Vermont we are back in the picturesque town. Katie is visiting Evergreen on holiday, gathering ideas for her next novel, although unexpectedly starts writing about the town's Christmas spirit, such as the magical snow globe which grants wishes.
There is also the mystery surrounding 50th Anniversary Festival time capsule. Romance is in the air but also a reminder of what community is all about, everyone helping each other. From cookie making, a Christmas tree farm and ice skating I just wanted to visit and meet all in this fantastic town. A heartwarming community spirit. A magical, festive story. Perfect if you love Hallmark Christmas films.

Thank you Netgalley and publishing house for this ARC. What a lovely heartwarming story about Evergreen and it’s residents. From the peppermint hot cocoa to that amazing advent calendar, this book was a perfect Christmas story. Katie, a writer, travels to Evergreen for a vacation but instead is inspired and meets Ben. Ben also is a writer. The other town residents take a big place in the book as the mysteries of the advent calendar are revealed. This book was so fun.

Christmas in Evergreen: Tidings of Joy is a holiday romance set in Evergreen, Vermont where they do Christmas to the extreme. Katie, who is from NYC, and Ben, a native of Evergreen, meet on the train to Evergreen and Ben helps Katie discover what an Evergreen Christmas is like.

I found this romance to be light hearted, fun and filled with Christmas spirit. The characters are likable, the town is idyllic and the Christmas fever is contagious. I enjoyed getting to know the different characters and find out their part in Evergreen’s story. Christmas in Evergreen is almost too good to be true, but it sets the mood and makes me wish for a Christmas like this. This Hallmark inspired romance is the perfect way to get in the holiday spirit

Christmas in Evergreen: Tidings of Joy by Nancy Naigle is not the first book that takes place in Evergreen. The books have also been part of the Hallmark Cannel Christmas movie line-up. Sadly, I have not had the opportunity t view them but perhaps this year. Since I can’t comment on how the movie and book compare I will stick strictly to the book adaptation.

Usually the book comes first but in this case it seems the movie did. Christmas in Evergreen: Tidings of Joy is a traditional romance between big city Katie and small town local, Ben. Katie is a reporter looking for a creative inspiration of small town community and charm at the Christmas season. Evergreen is just the place for her to visit. It is a pleasant contrast between her POV of the town’s activities and Ben’s. The time capsule presents a mystery but it is easily solved without too much drama. This is a sweet romantic story that will have you ready to pull out the Christmas decorations believing in the magic and love of the season.

Christmas In Evergreen has me sold on this wonderful town where wishes come through. Nancy is a wonderful writer. Love reading her books. It’s even better than the Hallmark movie.

This is a true Hallmark story. It is sweet and clean. The town of Evergreen sounds charming. Katie has gone to Evergreen to try and write another book. She finds the town fascinating and how everyone is so nice and all the Christmas hype, or is that her jaded city girl talking? Ben loves Evergreen and when he meets Katie, he wants her to love it as well. Then there is the whole rumor about a time capsule.

The is a sweet, clean, romance. The town sounds delightful as do the citizens. This was such a nice escape to read.

The Evergreen Express train heads out daily to take visitors to the town of Evergreen. It is quite an old train decked out in Christmas wreaths and holiday decor. Ben Baxter took his seat looking forward to getting back to Vermont. Although he was working on getting a job in the city he looked forward to seeing friends and Nan, the only family he had. He sat back relaxing, waiting for the train to start its engine. While waiting he caught sight of a young woman taking picture after picture of all the festive sights in the passenger car. She had taken so many that her phone battery began to run down. Ben suggested she sit down in the seat next to him. As the train began moving down the track, Katie Connell introduced herself to Ben. She was hoping to write an article for her mother’s magazine about Evergreen and all its splendor. He was not happy about another reporter attempting to glorify the town.
Evergreen is a small town in Vermont that has Christmas tree farms and many people who work in different businesses supporting the holiday theme. The townsfolk have lived this way for 50 years. Reporters tend to feel that what is offered is only a sham and that people can’t possibly live in such a way. Truth told, Ben knows that all of the residents of Evergreen care about the town and each other. They work hard and know that this town exists as it does because all who live there care about helping one another. Throughout Katie’s visit she revises her opinions and begins to work on writing her second novel about Life in Evergreen. She plans to return before Christmas to spend time with her mother but until then she meets and greets all who have been so friendly to her during the visit.
This is Naigle’s third novel about the village of Evergreen. Each has given readers a different mystery that the small town exposes, usually in the form of a lost key. Hallmark has made movies of the first two books. They are pleasant and full of holiday magic. I imagine that this will also be filmed using many of the same characters with more stories from Evergreen. Christmas in Evergreen: Tidings of Joy by Nancy Naigle will be published on November 3, 2020 by Crown Media Publishing LLC. I am grateful that Crown Media allowed me to read and review this latest edition. Readers will find it to be another warm hearted treat to start the holiday season.

What better release date for a book than Election day? Some of you will be sitting idly waiting as the votes are counted, waiting for the outcome of the country. This book is JUST WHAT WE NEED RIGHT NOW! This is a book based on the 3rd book in the Christmas in Evergreen series. I know you are surprised to find out this is the 3rd book in the series and I have not read any of the previous books, BUT SURPRISE, I have watched all of the other movies! These books are so endearing! I even have the Hallmark app to keep track of all the movies that I have watched! I wonder why they do not have one that includes their books? (Maybe you should work on that one?)
This book takes place in Evergreen, Vermont. Many people come to see the snow globe that sits in the Chris Kringle Kitchen, which is owned by Joe and Carol Shaw. People come from all over to give the snow globe a good shake to make a wish and then drop a letter to Santa in the big red mailbox in the middle of town square. Seriously- if this doesn’t sound like a place you want to pack up all of your belongings right this minute and run/drive to, I am not sure what does. THIS IS EXACTLY what I am looking to go right now and I am so grateful that HALLMARK has taken us there throughout this Pandemic and given us something positive to focus on while it seems that the world is collapsing around us! This book also has an antique red truck that delivers Christmas trees to the local people. Evergreen even has a pond where you can find people ice skating. Don’t forget the Evergreen Express, which is the train, only 5 cars long that comes to New York City, this train is a bright red train. Ben is boarding the train in Manhattan heading for Vermont. Ben was born and raised in Evergreen. While on the train, Ben ends up with a lady in his lap after the train jolts. This woman, Katie is enthralled by all that she has learned about Evergreen in the travel magazines. What Katie finds in Evergreen is way more than she ever thought. It goes beyond the homemade kringle, the Evergreen trees, and the snowglobe. We get to see Evergreen through Katie’s eyes. This is such an amazing book! I truly wanted to jump through the pages and hop through it and jump into Evergreen and forget all that is going on here. I loved this book through and through and cannot wait to go back and read all of the others!

This is an adorable, heart-warming Christmas romance with all the festive trappings of the season and more! Reading this makes you feel like you are whisked away to an enchanted place. Sure enough, dreams come true in Evergreen, where Christmas magic always abounds. I absolutely loved the author's inspired creativity with elements such as a wishing snow globe and the mystery of the time capsule! This book centers around the story of Katie, a newcomer to Evergreen who is a bit jaded and skeptical. She is there on a vacation to gather inspiration for her writing and get away from her mother who is trying to control her career. She meets Ben, a local resident, who quickly sees that Katie needs help to believe in true love and kindness. Their love story is the perfect holiday treat and is enhanced with secondary romances between more of the town's citizens. I haven't seen the movie or read the other books, but I do think it probably would have made this book flow better if I was already familiar with the cast of characters.

Christmas Spirit can be found if you look within yourself!

Katie a aspiring writer is in Evergreen to write a novel. Then her mother calls and asks for a favor which is to a story for her Money Magazine! Something on the Town of Evergreen! Her mom knows there is a story! The town is full of people that are kind and helpful, but Katie who is truly a dubious and cynical person is not quite believing that everyone is so accommodating without getting remuneration.

Ben , a prior journalist and now a part-time librarian is going to be the one who sets Katie right about the town Spirit while the to go through files trying to find where the mystery Time Capsule has been hidden for 50 years!

Maybe on the journey they can each discover dreams and desires or they can let things stay as they are! Not everyone gets a HEA, but they do find that someone who they could be with in the future! ?

For a lighthearted Christmas read this was a remarkable story journey and it was really a great read!

I would definitely recommend this book to anyone!
